I groaned again as I made my way down the halls of Iwatobi high school. So far I've been in school for 6 months and I've gotten fluent in Japanese with the help of mainly Rin and duckling, also I enjoyed hanging out with each of them. I spent more and more time in the pool and studying with them than anything else. I loved going to the ocean with them even though bear (Makoto) didn't like the ocean, we took plenty of videos and pictures. Finally, with all the training we were all ready for the team swim meet event, I smiled at them as they swam laps. I sat by the side of the pool with my feet in the pool watching Rin and duckling racing against Haru and Makoto, it was after school once more and I did my homework in my swimsuit with Makoto's jacket on my shoulders since he was practicing. I was smiling at the homework because I had to write a 10-page essay on my family in detail so I divided it into two separate families...my swimming family and my adoptive family.

As I finished I heard a big splash and saw a Rei trying to swim but instead sinking like a rock, I quickly placed my laptop down and rushed to a now coughing Rei sitting with his head facing the ground with a towel on his head clearly embarrassed. I smiled when Nagisa tried to comfort the poor guy and saw the blush on both of their faces, 'I ship it' I thought slyly heading back to my laptop, sending an email to all the countries with the whole thing typed and such, then I shut my laptop and put it in my backpack and placed it next to Gou who was trying to coach Haru who was as silent as ever and would not listen instead doing his own thing. I shook my head at the boy and said to G, "You can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink...however with Haru he'd jump in and sit there not drink it." Makoto heard my comment and joined in with my laughter, Rin snickered but kept his mouth closed for once.

I smiled at the sharp-toothed guy and was about to say something about his crazy hair but Makoto splashed me and I was now soaked...thankfully I took the jacket off after Rei nearly drown. I slowly turned my gaze to the green-eyed man and I said, "Makoto..." He laughed and swam off and I splashed him back and soon everybody was in a full out water fight, Gou finally got us to stop by threatening to not feed us...that didn't work...but more laps did the trick. She then said, "Guys stop fooling around! You have a swim meet tomorrow remember!" I looked at the guys and asked, "Who'd you sign up?" She sighed and said, "Ana, Makoto, Rin, Haruka-senpai, and Nagisa..." I looked at me and I said, "You put me in...and, not Rei?!" Rei gave me a small smile and said, "I wanted you to try competing so I could calculate your exact numeral time to the decimal." I blinked at him and shook my head with a soft smile on my face as I hugged him saying, "Thanks, Rei...I owe you one." I felt him stiffen but then hugged me back, I then pulled back briefly and I called, "Come on guys where's the love!?"

We had a group hug laughing and such and I heard someone call my name over and over again, I looked up to see two twin kids with Makoto's brown hair. I was tipped off balance causing me to tumble into the pool, I made it back to the surface coughing up water and I spotted Ren and Ran swimming towards me. I helped them out of the pool and then sat there and asked, "What did you two knuckleheads think you were doing?! You could've hurt me or more importantly you!" I saw Ran's lip tremble a little and I sighed and gave them a soft smile and said, "Come here you two..." They both hugged me tight and I smiled as I gave them both a kiss on the head and whispered, "So what are you two doing here?" They giggled and Ren whispered, "We came to see you..." Ran cut him off, "Yeah big brother is always talking about how pretty you are...how you can swim so well..." I looked at them as they mimicked Makoto and the others laughed at their impressions while Makoto blushed and denied it, I laughed at them and said, "Since you two are head bent on getting him to like me...how about we heighten the stakes of the swim meet?" They looked at me with excitement and I tapped my chin and then snapped my fingers and said, "How about this if we win I take Makoto on a date...but if we lose-" "You stay away from him for a month!" Ren said with a small smirk, my eyes widened and I sighed and said, "Deal?" The two smiled and we shook hands and I said, "Okay where were we...oh I remember." I then smirked as I started to tickle the two of them and they laughed, later on as the sun was setting. Makoto walked me home and just as I was walking through the door he stuck his foot in the door and kissed my cheek giving me his number before running away.
