(Readers POV) (Five Years Later)

It's been five years since Ruby killed Cinder and a lot has happened. Beacon got repaired and running again. Glynda Goodwitch became the headmaster of Beacon, taking Ozpin's place. Ruby and her friends went back and finished their education. After graduating, Ruby easily became the number one huntress. I couldn't be prouder.

Deku: Hey dad!

I looked over to see Deku. Deku turned ten a few days ago.

(Y/N): Hey son.

We hugged each other.

Deku: Do you know how big sis has been?

(Y/N): She told me that she has been doing fine.

Deku smiled at me. We heard a knock on the door. Deku went to answer it. He opened the door and gasped.

Ruby: Surprise!

Deku: Big sis!

Deku tackled her in a hug. Ruby kept her footing and hugged him.

Deku: You didn't tell me you were coming back from your mission so soon.

Ruby: I wanted to surprise you.

They broke their hug and Ruby walked up to me.

Ruby: Heya dad.

(Y/N): Hello Ruby.

We hugged.

(Y/N): I swear it feels like yesterday when I was still training you how to use One For All. Now look at you, all grown up and making proud.

Ruby: Stop it. You're making me blush.

We stopped hugging and we three sat down on the couch.

(Y/N): How has the team been doing?

Ruby: They are doing just fine. Yang and Blake are getting together.

(Y/N): That's very nice to hear.

Ruby: And Weiss recently got married to Mercury.

Deku: Do they still help you with mission?

Ruby: All the time. They complain sometimes, saying that I take all the glory.

Deku: You are number one. They are just jealous of my big sis.

Ruby: Yeah. Did I tell you that team JNPR got back together?

(Y/N): They did?! Please tell me!

Ruby: Calm down dad. I will. It was when me and my team went to finish at Beacon. They got back together and they even gave me and my team a run for our money.

(Y/N): They must have improved a lot.

Ruby: Jaune and Pyrrha got together. So did Ren and Nora.

Deku: I knew they would.

Ruby: What have you been recently?

(Y/N): I have been teaching at Signal Academy. The kids still get excited when they learn that All Might is teaching them.

Deku: Dad is a really great teacher. Because of him, I even got my semblance!

Ruby looked excited.

Ruby: You have to show me!

Deku: Ok! Prepare to be amazed!

Deku got up and raised his hands. He started to focus and fire came from his hands.

Deku: Amazing, right?!

Ruby: Absolutely! I would never think you would get pyrokinesis as a semblance.

Deku got rid of the flames and sat back down.

Deku: I can't use it in the house anymore though.

Ruby: Why not?

Deku: I tried to help mom cook and I burned part of the kitchen.

He rubbed the back of his head and laughed nervously.

Ruby: Speaking of which. Where is mom?

(Y/N): She said that she should be home soon. She will be surprised to see you here.

As if by divine timing, the door opened. Summer came in holding our four year old daughter.

Summer: I'm home!

Summer looked at me and noticed Ruby. She gasped.

Summer: Sweetie!

Summer ran up and hugged Ruby with one arm.

Ruby: Hey mom. It's nice to see you. How is my adorable little sister?

Rosa: Pretty good.

Rosa was still learning how to speak, so her speech was a little broken but it made her sound adorable. Rosa looks like Summer and Ruby with the silver eyes. She had black hair, but her highlights are the same color as my hair.

Summer: How did your mission go?

Ruby: It went pretty well, but I am getting pretty hunger.

Summer put Rosa on the ground.

Summer: Don't worry. I will get to working on dinner right now.

Summer walked into the kitchen. Rosa walked over to me and I picked her up.

(Y/N): How was my little rose's walk with momma?

Rosa: Pretty well. I wished that you came with.

(Y/N): You know I had to stay here. I had to watch your big brother or he might of burned the house down.

Deku: I said I was sorry about the kitchen.

I held Rosa with one arm and ruffled Deku's hair.

(Y/N): I know you are sorry.

I looked over at Ruby because she laughed a little. She gained a concerned look on her face.

(Y/N): Is something wrong?

Ruby: I just remembered. What happened to Ozpin and Oscar?

I sighed.

(Y/N): I don't know. I haven't heard from him since we left Atlas. Salem and her gang are gone, so he has nothing to worry about when finishing his mission. But I know he is ok, I can feel it in my heart.

Summer: Dinner's ready!

(Y/N): Come on. We have a delicious meal to eat.

Rosa, Ruby, and Deku got excited and we got up. We head to the table and Summer gave us our food. Summer walked over to me and gave me a kiss.

Summer: Enjoy honey. I love you.

(Y/N): I love you too.
