(Ruby's POV)

I was watching the t.v. and I was happy.

News reporter: He did it! ALL MIGHT WON!

On the t.v. All Might raised his fist into the air and he transformed into his muscle form.

News reporter: We will be finding a place to land and ask All Might about what happened.

I looked around and saw that everyone was celebrating.

Jaune: I never had a doubt.

Ren: Weren't you praying in the corner earlier?

Jaune has a nervous look on his face, but quickly gained his composure.

Jaune: Never had a doubt.

Ren just put a smile on his face. I started to smile too.

Yang: That's why you don't mess with the number one huntsman. That woman didn't stand a chance.

Weiss: All Might was probably trying to be dramatic and made her think she was going to win.

Blake: That was the Salem woman we were training for? She seemed like such a pushover.

News reporter: We have finally landed. Excuse me, All Might. May we ask you about what happened?

Everyone turned their attention to the screen. All Might turned back into his normal form. Without looking, he pointed at the camera. It looked like he was pointing at me.

(Y/N): Your turn.... it's your turn now.

I started to cry. I knew exactly what he meant. He was saying that it's my turn as the symbol of peace. My team noticed me crying and tried to comfort me.

Weiss: Ruby, what's wrong? Are you ok?

I sniffed and was able to get some words out.

Ruby: I'm fine.

I started to cry more. Weiss handed me a handkerchief and I took it, wiping my tears away.

Yang: If anything is wrong, let us know.

I was only able to nod. I continued to watch the t.v.

News reporter: We have called the nearest place to get All Might medical help and to get the villain he was fighting under custody.

(Readers POV)

I'm glad that medical help is coming, I'm starting to lose the power in my legs. I started to fall down but I felt that someone caught me.

Summer: I'm so glad you're ok!

Summer was keeping me standing.

(Y/N): No one can take down the symbol of peace.

I chuckled. I started to spit out blood. Summer was shocked and started to wipe it off my mouth.

(Y/N): I'm so glad I still have aura. I wish Jaune was here, his semblance could help out a lot.

Summer: I'm sure that Haven is getting out from lockdown, so you will see him soon.

(Y/N): What about all the Grimm in the area?

Tai: You can thank us for that.

I looked over to see Tai, Raven, and Qrow walk over to me. Qrow pulled out his flask.

Qrow: Who would think that Salem would go down like that.

Tai: I'm sure everyone is freaking out about that new finisher move of yours.

(Y/N): It was a finishing move and in more was then one.

Everyone got confused when I said that.

Summer: What is that supposed to mean?

(Y/N): The flames of One For All has finally left my body entirely. I can't be the symbol of peace anymore.

Raven: So what will you do?

I smiled at them.

(Y/N): I will be teaching the next generation. Something tells me that they have it under control.

I smiled as I started to lose conciseness.

Summer: (Y/N)? Come on stay up!

I couldn't keep my eyes open anymore and I passed out.

(Time skip)

I woke up to see Jaune giving me his aura.

Jaune: All Might? Good to see you're finally awake.

(Y/N): How long have I been out for?

Jaune: From what I can tell, about thirty minutes.

The aura I was getting was healing my body real quickly. I had the energy to sit up. I noticed that I was on a fold up bed. I looked around and I saw Atlas military making a clear area so I don't get destroyed by news people asking me about what happened.

Jaune: How are you feeling?

(Y/N): I'm feeling fine. Thank you, young Jaune, for your help.

Jaune: Anytime.

I looked around to see that everyone else knew that I was awake. Ruby dashed over to me.

Ruby: All Might! I'm so glad that you are awake!

I ruffled her hair and laughed.

(Y/N): Did you think I would stay down when I have to continue teaching my students?

I covered my mouth and I spat out some blood.

(Y/N): No matter how much aura I get, that won't stop.

I looked to see general Ironwood walk up to me.

Ironwood: All Might. I'm here to inform you that Salem is under our watch and we are taking her to the most guarded place on Remnant. We are currently looking for a way to destroy her for good.

(Y/N): Thanks Ironwood.

He walked away and Summer walked to me.

Summer: I'm so glad to see you're ok.

She smiled at me and I smiled back.

(Y/N): Summer, I have something for you that I have been meaning to give back.

Summer had a confused look on her face. I reached into my back pocket and what I pulled out made Summer gasp.

(Y/N): This is yours.

I held out the ring she gave me all those years ago. It still looked brand new, with the ruby gem on it just as shiny as ever. She took it and putted it on her ring finger. She started to cry and she hugged me.

Summer: Thank you so much!

I just hugged her back and chuckled. Ruby looked really confused at the sudden affection her mom was showing me. Summer broke the hugged and nodded at me, she knew exactly what I was thinking.

(Y/N): Ruby. I have something to tell you.

Ruby: What is it?

I hugged her and held her close. She looked at me confused and tilted her head.

(Y/N): I am.... your dad.

Ruby was taking back from this news and she started to cry. She shoved her face in my shirt.

Ruby: I'm so happy to finally meet my dad!

I started to cry as I held her tighter. I never felt so happy in my life. I can finally get rid of the burden of not telling Ruby about me. Everyone just looked at the scene and stayed silent. After awhile, we eventually let go of each other.

Ruby: I love you, dad. It sounds a little weird to call you that.

She wiped away a few tears. I chuckled at what she said and I ruffled her hair again.

(Y/N): I'm sure you will get use to it. I love you too, but aren't you mad at me for leaving you behind?

Ruby: Honestly, no. I understand why you would do what you did. You did what you thought was best for me and that's enough for me, so I'm not mad at all.

She smiled at me and I started to shed a few more tears. I would never guess that she would be this accepting. Nora ran up and was all excited.

Nora: You are the kid of All Might! How awesome is that!

Ren walked up and started to drag her away.

Ren: Don't you think you are being a little rude?

Nora: I can't help it! It's just so exciting!

I just laughed and Ruby putted her hand over mine.

Ruby: Are you really not going to be the symbol  of peace anymore?

(Y/N): Sadly, yes. One For All has left my body completely, but it lives on in you. You are the next symbol of peace.
