Lord (L/N) has passed on to be with his wife. He was killed in an unfortunate carriage accident. His only child (Y/N) lives on and is betrothed to Alois Trancy. The funeral.........

"Well this is surprising. She is betrothed then her father is taken out of the picture."

"Indeed young lord but are you suggesting that Alois was the cause of the accident."

"You know exactly that is what happened. We watched it happen."

"What would you like me to do young lord."

"Watch them and make sure no harm comes to Lady (Y/N)."

I looked at Sebastian as he walked out and re-read the article. Why would Trancy want her father out of the picture? What did he have planned?

((Your P.O.V))

You were in your fathers office when Taylor brought you the news. You were still in the office crying but Alois had now joined you. He was consoling you as best he could.

"I'm so sorry (Y/N)."

He even seemed to be saddened at the loss of your father. You looked at him and hugged him.

"Thank you Alois."

The both of you sat there for awhile before you asked Alois if you could go to his manor. You needed to get away for awhile.

Hannah murmured a 'sorry' when Alois went to get something. You gave her a sad smile and Alois came back with stoic Claude in tow.

Claude was carrying a tray with tea and some nummies. You drank the tea and felt light headed.

"Don't worry (Y/N) the tea will help you!!"

His voice sounded far off and evil. You heard Claude utter something before you passed out.

"There is a filthy cat around here."

~Sebastian's P.O.V~

(Y/N) rose the tea cup to her lips and took one sip and I could immediately tell something was off. Alois took the tea cup and handed it to Faustus before she fell backwards. Had they really killed her father just to get her?

I should report to the young master about this development.

~Your P.O.V~

Drip. Drip. Drip.

It was constant in the black abyss. I stepped on something sticky that made me trip into more of it. Am I in a.........spider web?

"I suggest not trying to leave here ever."

The voice sounded familiar but not like anything I had ever heard. I struggled in the spider web as Claude walked towards me on one of the strands.

"Don't try to leave here."

Then I woke up and sat upright. I felt warm arms holding my waist and I looked to see it was Alois,sleeping like a baby. He slowly opened his eyes and smiled.

"Are you alright (Y/N)?"

"Y-yeah I'm ok."

He smiled and pulled me closer and I laid back down. He gently kissed my forehead causing me to blush slightly. I then fell asleep in Alois's arms. There was nothing to worry about right?
