(Grays pov)

Its been about 10 minutes, Pyro and Metal mouth still haven't come out of the café yet."Whats taking those two so long" I grumbled."Well, my best guess is that their probably stuffing their faces since it is a café" sighed Jellal as he sits down on a near by bench.

I walked over to the bench and plopped down next to him."Why did i agree to come on this stupid mission..." I groweled. "Because you need it, Gray let's be honest here, ever since you heard about Juvias death you've been a total mess, you are almost never at the guild, and when you do bother to show up you end up drunk" Jellal rambled on.

"Yeah I know that!" I snapped at him. "It's just that...I can still remember it....when Master told us and it's just hard to forget that.." I turned my head trying not to let him see the tears welding up in my eyes as I remaniced about the day I found out about the girls...about Juvia.

~START OF FLASH BACK~

The girls have been gone for 3 weeks now. I was fighting with Natsu as usual, Gajeel was with panther lilly and Jellal was sitting next to them. Master came out of his office and stood up on stage. "What did you call me flame brain!" I shouted. "I called you ic-". "I know what you said!". "Then why did y-". He was cut off by Master.

"Listen up you brats, I have some very important news!"Master bellowed. The entire guild went dead quiet. "Well as you all know Lucy, Erza, Levy, and Juvia have been missing lately" said master."WHAT LUCY'S MISSING!?!?! I'LL FIND HER!!".shouted Pyro as he started running towords the door.

"NATSU WAIT...it's no use going after them." Said Master."What do you mean!?!? They're missing somewhere and I can use my-"Master cut him off again." First off, LET ME FINISH SPEAKING, and second Natsu, Gray, Gajeel, and Jellal I think it's best if you four are together for this"

We all got up and walked over to the front of the stage. "So you see...the girls should have been back about 2 weeks ago, but as you know they're not. And thats becuse while on their mission.........they got killed about a week ago." Masters voice was soft but stern.

I couldnt believe it, I wanted it to be a lie, I hope and prayed that it was just some cruel joke being played. The entire guild was in total shock. Natsu fell to his knees. Gajeel stormed out of the guild and all you could see was a glimpse of tears streaming down his face. Jellal helplessly wiped away tears, but no matter how many times he did they would keep coming. I was just frozen in utter shock.

I couldn't move, talk or do anything. All I did was stand there like a helpless idiot with tears streaming down my face. Natsu got back up. His hair covering his eyes. I saw couple tears run down his face before he just lost it.

"N-NO THIS ISN'T TRUE!!! I DON'T KNOW WHAT KIND OF SICK JOKE YOUR PLAYING BUT IT ISN'T FUNNY!!!" Natsu shouted as tears spilled from his
eyes. I snapped out of it and the only emotions I felt we're pure anger and sadness.

"THOUSE GIRLS ARE ONE OF THE STRONGEST OF THIS GUILD!!! I DOUGHT THAT THEY WOULD BE KILLED THAT EASILY!!" I yelled."I'm sorry boys but....it's true I just got the letter from the clients today saying that they witnessed the whole thing" Said Master with his head hung low.

"DAMNIT.....I knew I should have went with her, shes just so stubborn" muttered Jellal as tears continued to stream down his face."ILL...ILL KILL WHO EVER DID THIS!!" Yelled Natsu."Natsu.....the girls died while killing their targets" said Master.

Natsus entire body became engulfed In flames. " this....this is all my fault.....I should have gone with her....I should have protected her...and because of me she's gone" muttered Natsu.

"Natsu!! You have to stay calm or else your flames will over whelm you!" shouted master."NO I WILL NOT CALM DOWN!! HOW ARE YOU ALL SO CALM, IMPORTANT MEMBERS HAVE JUST PAST AND YOU WANT ME TO BE CALM?!?!".He shouted

Master ordered Freed to put a rune around Natsu so he wouldn't go on a rampage. I ran out of the guild with tears streaming down my eyes."w-wait gray" some one called. But I didnt listen I just kept running."I'm sorry I let you die...I should have gone with you....it's my fault" I repeated over and over again.

I stopped when I got to a river by the park. I sat down by the edge and hugged my knees close to my chest and took out the buret Juvia gave to me and stared at it."Hey man" I turned around and saw Jellal behind me. He had faint tear stains on his cheeks."hey" I said as I wiped my tears away and quickly put away the buret.

"Why did you come out here" he asked. "I don't know" I responded."you're lieing" he bluntly stated."....fine...Juvia would always drag me on walks out here...so it just reminds me of her" I said as I looked at the River

"I see" he said. Tears we're falling from my eyes as I remanices about when me and Juvia took walks here. " I...i only wish that I didnt push her away"I whimpered.

"Hey...I'm in the same boat, remember the tower of heaven, I still dont think she forgave me no matter how many times she said she did". he said. I didnt say anything all I did was stare at the river."look...i feel responsable too, but we'll get though it even if it feels like hell...we shouldn't mourn their death...but instead celebrate their life, after all we are fairy tail, celebrateing is what we do best"

"Yeah...I guess your right" I said. He got up."come on let's go find Gajeel and help them calm down and
Natsu befor he breaks down the rune and sets fire to all of magnolia" he chuckled. I got up and nodded. "Yeah" was all I said as I put the burst back in my pocket.

"Oh and gray....since we are kinda in the same boat...don't hesitate to ask me anything...I'll be there for you and I'll have your back to k" Jellal said while looking back at me. "Thanks man, same for you...by the way can we keep this between us...I dont want people hearing about me sharing my feeling and stuff" I blushed a little at the last part."sure, now let's go" he smiles at me and started walking. I jogged to catch up to him and we talked and talked.

After that me and Jellal have been good friends...always there for each other...even though I can be a pain in the ass...he put up with me.

~END OF FLASHBACK~

"

Gray I know it's hard remember, we're in the same boat, but you still need to stop acting like that, what would Juvia think if she saw you like this" he asked.I signed. "I guess your right dude"I said. Just then screws and flame boy came out of the café with shocked expressions on their faces.

"Whats up with them" I asked Jellal."I don't know, I'll ask" Jellal said as they got closer to us. "Hey guys what's up" he asks them."I don't wanna talk about it" they said in unison."OK then..." I said."hey...is it OK if we say here for a bit, while you guys go talk to the client we need to just....think a bit" said natsu. Me and jellal jumped out of our seats when he Said that. Thats just bizzar he...HE WANTS TO THINK..some thing Is definetly wrong with him. Gajeel remained silent.

"U-um s-sure" Jellal said obviously in totaly shocked by what they just said."well m-meet you g-guys back h-here" jellal continued. Metal head and Pyro nodded and sat down on the bench me and Jellal were sitting on with their heads in their hands

Me and jellal started heading towards the clients house."that was beyond strange" I said. "You can say that again, I wonder what happened to them in that café,when they came out they looked like they saw the Dead" jellal added. "Yeah, but thats imossible...right?"
