The most popular names were

Boy: Leo, James, Luca, William, Mathew and Edward

Girl: Blake, Amelia, Isabelle, Ava, Darcy and Emma

There were a few more names that were also chosen that I am keeping for later for a few surprises.

 But anyway I really hope you enjoy the preference.)

You had just received the baby name book you had ordered in the mail and you were so excited to look through it that you hadn't realized how long you had been sitting on the sofa flicking through the book.

Throughout the day you had jotted down names in your baby journal that you loved. By the time Liam came home you had a list a mile long full of your favourite baby boy names.

After glancing up at clock you placed the journal on the end of the sofa as you were struggling to pick the perfect name for your baby boy.

You didn't want to give your baby boy a name he would hate.

He had to live with it for the rest of his life.

"What's this you've got here?" Liam asks making you jump in shock. You didn't realize he had come home. You were so deep in thought about naming your baby boy that you hadn't heard the front door close. You glance over at Liam as he picks up your journal that he found sitting on the edge of the sofa.

"Oh that's just the baby journal your mum got me. I was jotting down some baby names I was thinking of," you tell him smiling as he sits next to you opening the journal were the page is marked baby names.

He reads through the list, making little comments here and there about some of the names you have listed.

"I kind of like Ryan for a boy." "Or Maybe Mathew. Or Lucas."

"Any on there that stick out to you?" You scrunch up your nose in confusion. There were way to many names that you liked. You had jotted down over 20 names and not one jumped write out at you. Not ones of those 20 names were unique enough for your little boy.

"Not really! I can't decide on one. I love too many of the names on the list but then again not one of those names feels unique enough for our little boy." You sigh frustrated that this was so hard.

Why couldn't it be easy to decide?

You knew 100% you wanted his middle name to be James but you couldn't decide on his first name. You knew it had to be unique because you didn't want for your boy to have some generic name that every other kid had.

"Ok what do you think about Leo?"

"Leo...Leo Payne" You whisper.

"I really like it! It unique and OMG I'm in love with it."

"So, is that it? Did we just pick our babies name?"

"Leo James Payne?" he asks you hopefully.

"I think we just did," you grin, placing your hands on either side of your growing belly.

The baby kicks and your face lights up. "I think the baby likes the name," you say and Liam places his hand right next to yours on your belly, gazing at you lovingly.

"We both love you so much Leo James Payne." You whisper happily as a tear slides down your cheek. You really couldn't wait to hold you baby boy.

You were so ready for Leo and Liam to meet.

You were lying on the couch cuddled together when Louis suggested picking names for the twins. You had been thinking of names ever since you found out you were having twin boys so you had quite a few In mind already.

After about half an hour Louis and yourself hand written down a bunch of boy names each on separate pieces of paper.

"Alright, what have you got love?" Louis asked, taking your list out of your hands as he hands his over to you.

You both had decided to write a list of five names each and you would pick one first name and one middle name from both of the lists.

You scan the list Louis gave you briefly, giving small approving nods as you go through the list of names.

"I really like the names Luca and William. Luca William Tomlinson has a nice ring to it, don't you think Lou?" He nods in agreement smiling down at you.

"The names just seem to work together and one of the babies got really wiggly after I said it" You giggled placing a hand on your stomach.

Louis said the name out loud a few times before looking up to you. "I think it's perfect." He grinned placing a kiss to your temple as he continues to look over your list.

"Now you, what's names do you like from my list?" You asked excitedly, throwing your piece of paper to the side. "This took me a little while but I really like how these two names sound together," He explained.

You nodded excitedly. You really couldn't wait to here what he liked.

"What about Mathew Edward Tomlinson?" He said.

You bit your lip as you felt tears welling up in your eyes. Your hormones had been driving you crazy lately. You really couldn't believe you just named you babies.

"Luca William and Mathew Edward Tomlinson. Sounds perfect" You whispered. Louis nodded kissing your head, "They're going to be the best children we could ever ask for" He responded before kissing your head again lightly.

"Are you sure you like them?" He asked. You nodded. "I love them so much. I just can't wait for them to arrive."

Ever since you found out that Baby Malik was going to be a girl, you and Zayn couldn't stop bouncing names off of each other.

It was driving you both insane that you couldn't agree on a name for your baby girl.

You knew naming your baby was one of the most important, things that you were going to do as a parent and you didn't want to mess it up in anyway.

She would be stuck with the name for the rest of her life and you didn't want her to hate it.

It was starting to eat you alive that you both couldn't agree.

Why couldn't it be easy?

One day after you had a massive argument about Zayn not liking any of your names you had picked. He came home with several baby name books in hope they would help you both agree on the perfect name.

But sadly they didn't seem to be much help either as you and Zayn had read them front and back several times and still couldn't agree on a name.

"Zayn this is seriously starting to bother me!" You said after a dinner one night.

Based on the look on his face you could definitely tell that he had been thinking about it too. You were starting to run out of options.

"Zayn our baby girl needs a name!"

"I know she does Y/N! I just don't want to mess it up. This is the first thing we're deciding as parents!" Zayn yelled. You knew he was getting frustrated with the whole thing and so were you.

"Who knew naming a child could be so hard." He groaned rubbing the bridge of his nose.

After about a month of none stop arguing you finally found the perfect name that you both agreed on and loved for your baby girl.

It seemed like a huge weight was lifted off your shoulders once you had finally agreed on a name.

There was no more arguing or stressing about names anymore because you little girl had the most perfect name.

One day you were jotting down baby names again and left the piece of paper on the kitchen bench by mistake. Zayn had come home from the studio and started reading over the list making you anxious that he wouldn't like any of those names as well. He seem to not like any of your name choices before so why would he likes these.

"Do you like any of those?" You questioned.

"Yeah, but I like this one the most." He pointed at your paper where you had written Isabelle with a question mark. "Isabelle Malik has a nice ring too it." You mused, causing Zayn to smile.

"Isabelle Ava Malik." Zayn said aloud.

"I think we just named our first baby, Zee." You smiled, rubbing your belly.

"You like it?" He asked, putting his hand over yours.

"I love it so much."

"We did it! We named our baby!" You cheered, leaning over and pecking his lips.

"Daddy needs a holiday after that." He chuckles looking over at you as you punch him in the shoulder laughing.

You were hoping now that you knew your baby was girl, you would be able to pick a name as soon as possible so you could get started on the nursery. You were also sick of calling her baby Styles. Your baby needed a name.

SO you and Harry had decided to put a bunch of names into two separate hats and choose one name from each. All the names you and Harry had jotted down were placed into separate hats. The first hat had all your favourite names and other hat had all Harry's favourite names.

You agreed that Harry's hat would be your baby girl's first name and yours would be her middle name. It was only fare that he got to choose her first name as you got to carry her for nine months.

"So I'll pull out a name first and that will be the first name then you pick the middle name from your hat?" You nodded in agreement as Harry holds his patriots snap back full of baby names in his hand.

"Seems like a good idea babe. All the names we have chosen in the hat were both our top six favourites so I'm certain her name will be perfect," You laugh as he places his hand into his hat moving his fingers around for the perfect piece of paper that would be you daughters first name.

He grabs the piece of paper pulling it out and placing it on the coffee table in front of you both.

You had decided you wouldn't reveal the names until after you both picked a piece of paper out of each hat.

You reach over to the coffee table picking up your hat as you start to rummage through the strands of paper. You pull out the paper placing it next to Harry's as you anxiously wait for the reveal of your baby's name.

"You ready to find out our munchkins name" He says smiling over at you has he picks up the white strip of paper that has your little girls first name written on it.

You bit your lip as you watch him unravel the piece of paper.

He takes a deep breath before looking down at the words written on the paper. "Darcy" He grins looking over at you with the biggest smile to ever cross his face. You were so glad he was happy with the name. You loved seeing your boyfriends face light up as he shows off his gorgeous dimples. You notice his eyes sparkle as he rereads the piece of paper "Darcy styles" You knew he couldn't be anymore happier with her name and so where you.

You reach across the coffee table to pick up the second piece of paper that will reveal you baby girls middle name. You were so excited to finally have a full name for her. Your fingers unfold the strand of paper as you glance down reading the name. You then look back up at Harry smiling like an idiot.

"So baby what her full name. Don't keep me waiting." He chuckles impatiently trying to snatch the piece of paper out of your hands.

"Ok Ok I just needed a second. This is just so overwhelming we just named our baby girl. So it seems our baby girl will be known as Darcy Emma Styles " You smile widely at Harry as he kisses your lips.

"I think it's perfect." He whispered to you as you kiss him on the lips again. You were just so happy you had finally named your baby girl.

"So, I've been thinking of some baby names," Niall says out of the blue, catching you off guard.

You really hadn't discussed naming baby Horan at all. You were surprised Niall thought about it in the first place.

"You have? But we haven't even really talked much about naming her yet."

You stare at him through the laptop in shock. You hadn't even had the chance to think of names yet. How the hell did he have time to think of baby names? He's in the biggest boy band and works nonstop. It wasn't like you didn't think about it. You did have a name in mind but you didn't have a massive list like Niall did.

"I know, but I was having a hard time falling asleep last night and that's just where my mind wandered off to. You know how lonely I get on tour without you and being in a different time zone sucks. I just wanted to be prepared " You sigh trying not to sound upset that Niall was so much more prepared then you were and he wasn't even caring the child.

"Well I guess it's a good time we name baby Horan. Like you said we want to be prepared and stuff so what have you come up with then?"

"Well, I kind of really really like the name Blake. Ever since we found out baby Horan was a girl. I really wanted to name her Blake. I've got a few more names jotted down if you want t hear them as well. They are-" You cut him off before he could even get a chance to read the rest of his list.

"I love the name and it goes perfect with your last. OMG Niall I love it" you ramble out in shock. The name Blake was the name you had imagined calling your little girl or boy since you found out you were pregnant.

"You do? You sure you don't want me to read out the rest of names I have on my list" Niall questions, a little shocked that you'd approved so quickly. He really thought you would hate the name and put up a fight and you would both be arguing about her name for the rest of your pregnancy.

"Yes! I really do love it. It's a perfect name for our perfect little girl. Now that I have heard the name Blake I will probably hate the rest of the names on your list.

That's it then, we have our baby girls first name picked out!" You were still in shock that both you and Niall had chosen the same name.

"Don't you want to think about it for a while too? You might come up with something better." You shake your head.

"In all honesty Niall I've had a name in mind since we found out about baby Horan and the name that had stuck since than was Blake. I wanted to name him or her Blake regardless if she was a boy or girl" He looks at you in shock.

"I can't believe out of all the names we both choose Blake. I though you would hate it. I guess great minds think alike." He chuckles out

"What about her middle name babe? Do you have any other name on that list that you loved?"

"Ummm I also like the name Amelia. Blake Amelia Horan has a nice ring to it don't you think princess."

"That sounds perfect, Ni."

"Are you sure? Wait please don't tell me you had Amelia in mind as well."

You chuckle shaking you head "No but I love it. Our little girl finally has a name."
