Liam:
You were stood in the kitchen cooking dinner while Liam and Louis were sitting in the music room writing tunes for the next album.
You were standing at the kitchen counter chopping vegetables for dinner when you felt the baby move around. You thought nothing of it since the baby had been moving around a lot since you had hit 16 weeks pregnant. All you could feel was a fluttering sensation like you had butterflies in your tummy.
You were yet to feel your baby kick but the doctor said it could happen anytime now as you had just hit 24 weeks pregnant. The doctor had discussed with you in your last ultrasound appointment that you might not feel your baby move until closer to 25 weeks. So Liam and you were both anxious to feel your baby's first kicks.
You new Liam was so excited to feel the baby move each night since you had hit 22 weeks pregnant he would glue his hands to your tummy and talk nonsense to your baby boy. All he wanted was to feel your baby kick. He really didn't want to miss it.
It was so cute watching Liam interact with your belly as he tried to get your baby boy to respond with a kick. You couldn't wait for your boys to finally meet and watch them interact together.
As you continued to cook dinner you couldn't help but chuckle as you remembered back to last night when Liam got upset that you baby boy hadn't kick yet.
Flashback
"Hi baby boy, I cant believe how big your getting. It feels like yesterday that your mummy was telling me about you," He said quietly to your tummy, as you laid back on your bed with your shirt rolled up exposing your 5 month baby bump.
"I really can't wait to feel you kick little man. Can you kick for daddy?" Liam says talking to your belly again. You let out a quiet laugh as Liam looks up at you with a questioning look.
"Li the baby's not gonna move when you ask him to move."
"Y/N, I'm trying everything here! I just really want to feel him move but nothing's working," he sighs pulling down your shirt as he moves up the bed to cuddle next to you.
"Babe you heard what the doctor said. The baby might not kick until I hit 25 weeks. These things take time! We have to be patient and wait for when he's ready."
"But it's not fare! You get our baby boy for 9 months and I have to wait until he is born. All I'm asking is for him to kick. I just want to bond with my son." He huffs out rolling over and facing his back to you.
You chuckle as you scot closer to Liam kissing the back of his neck. "Baby, don't be upset! I'm sure you'll feel him kick soon. He knows how much you love him already. Every time you talk he moves around like crazy. He already knows who you are by the sound of your voice so don't be upset."
You here the music turn on upstairs making you jump back to reality and finish preparing dinner for the boys.
30 minutes later you gently place your hands on your baby bump as you walk up the stairs into the music room to tell the boys that dinner is ready. You lean against the door watching Liam and Louis dance around acting like the idiots they are when you feel a slight pain in the lower region of your stomach making you jolt forward.
Your eyes instantly widened as you felt another, "Liam!" you said softly, trying to comprehend what just happened.
"Y/N, are you okay babe?"
"Yeah, I'm fine. Just come here for a second." Liam's eyebrows knitted together as you returned to normal standing position.
Liam rushed over to you as you took his hands placing them on either side of your bump.
"C'mon baby boy, kick for daddy," you whispered. You moved his hands around when it finally happened, His eyes widened at the repeated kick of your baby boy.
"Oh my gosh!" Liam grinned, causing his eyes to squint a bit as he glanced from your bump to your eyes.
"Louis, the baby's kicking!" he said excitedly, instantly making him hurry over to you and Liam.
Louis placed a hand on your belly and felt what all the excitement was about.
"Crazy huh?" you asked. They both nodded their heads while keeping their hands on your stomach.
Once Louis excused himself to go to the bathroom. Liam gently placed a kiss on your lips.
"I'll remember this for the rest of my life," he said softly in your ear. You smiled up at him as you reconnect your lips.
"I really can't believe were having a baby. Where finally having a baby" Liam says happily spinning you around as you giggle at your husband. Once Louis returned you went downstairs to eat dinner. You couldn't help but grin up at Liam. Not once did his hand leave your stomach since your baby boy had kicked.
Liam was so excited that his baby boy had finally decided to make his presence known to his daddy.
He really couldn't wait to become a dad.
Louis:
"Would you like a cup of tea love?" Louis asked, putting on the kettle. You nod as Louis wraps his arms around you from behind.
"How are mummy and my boys doing today?" Louis asked while he rubbed circles around your protruding stomach, you giggled as he continued to rub your stomach trying to get you baby boys to kick.
"Mummy and our boys are quite alright. They haven't given mummy any grief today" You smiled as you felt your baby boys start to wiggle around. You ran your hands over the curve of your rounded stomach as you place them over Louis hands at the bottom of your bump as you stand in silence thinking about the arrival of the twins in 3 short months. Louis and you really couldn't wait for there arrival.
The kettle went off breaking you out of your silence and ruining you little intimate moment with your boys.
Louis let go of you and started to prepare your tea as you got some biscuits out of the cupboard.
Ever since you hit 5 months pregnant all you had been graving was Yorkshire tea and any type of biscuits.
As you picked up your mug of tea you felt a strong jab in the lower region of your stomach. You jolt forward dropping the steaming mug of tea all over your baby bump. You wince trying to catch the mug before it hit the ground but it was to late. The mug shattered into a million tiny pieces onto the kitchen floor.
"Y/N. Are you alright? What happened?" Louis asked in panic as he rushed over to you. He carefully moved you away from the broken glass but stopped in panic as he noticed your socked shirt.
"I'm sorry, " you said taking a deep breath trying not to freak out. You knew if you started to freak out Louis would too. So you took a deep breath trying to calm yourself down.
"Why are you sorry? I don't care about the mug or the spilt tea. You and our boys are more important. So are you ok? Did the tea burn your stomach?" he asked again.
"I don't know Louis! I think I'm ok! One of them kicked making me stumble forward and I couldn't hold the tea any longer. I'll clean it up in a minute, when he stops," you explained.
Louis looked confused then smiled, "what? One of them kicked?" You giggled, taking his hand and placing it on your rounded belly. But as soon as Louis's hand was on your stomach you groaned in pain.
"Oh my god, that's one of our baby's," he said as the baby kicked his hand but as soon as he looked up at you he removed his hand from your stomach in panic.
"Y/N lets get you out of this shirt so I can take a look at your stomach." You nodded looking away from Louis as you walked up the stairs to your bedroom. You couldn't help but cry. The tears started rapidly flowing down your checks. You were just so upset that you ruined such a beautiful moment with your boys and their daddy. Louis would never get that moment back.
"Baby what's wrong? Does your stomach hurt?" you shock your head as Louis wiped your cheeks.
"I ruined it. I ruined our baby's first kicks." You wailed upset that you would never get that moment back.
"Hey baby shhhh! I'm not worried about that. I'm more worried about you and the twin's health. So can you please sit down on the bed so I can examine your stomach." You nodded sitting down as Louis carefully peeled your shirt off trying not to make you wince.
Once your shirt was off you both noticed a burn on the left side of your bump about the size of your palm.
Louis insisted he rang up your doctor just in case you needed to get checked out at the hospital. Your doctor insisted she do a house visit just in case it was more serious then you thought.
Once the doctor had arrived she rubbed salvon cream onto the burn and then dressed it with a bandage to make sure the burn was covered and protected from getting infected. You winced standing up and thanking the doctor as she left your home. Louis looked at you worriedly as he helped you sit down in the living room.
"Does the burn hurt or are they kicking again?" Louis asked concerned.
"Yeah, they seem to kick every time you talk," you replied, eyes not moving away from your hands on the right side of your bump.
Louis sat down next to you. You could tell he was hesitating to touch your bump. He didn't want to hurt your burn so you took one of his hands and placed it right below yours.
His face lit up and you couldn't help but smile. When you felt another kick, Louis rubbed your baby bump gently trying to void the burnt part of your stomach.
You watched in awe at there father son moment as Louis poked your stomach waiting for one of the twins to respond.
"They are already so cheeky," he whispered.
You put your hand on his and replied smiling up at him, "Yea there just like their daddy."
Zayn:
Babies could feel stress from their mother and today your baby could definitely feel your anxiety. You were upset with Zayn because he had been extra moody lately and everything you did or said ended up in an argument. You hadn't done anything to Zayn but he still took his stress out on you most days.
Ever since he had left one direction he had been acting different and you really didn't know why. You just wanted the old Zayn back. The caring and loveable guy you feel in love with all those years ago.
As soon as he slammed the front door shut you knew Zayn wasn't in a great mood.
Once he entered the kitchen he gave you a sidelong glance and shock his head at you as he sat down at the kitchen bench.
Lately he had been coming home at all ours of the morning drunk and wouldn't even acknowledge your presence. You were sick of waiting up for him to come home when he didn't even care about you or his unborn child.
Maybe he was starting to second-guess your relationship, his actions confirmed it, and to think about it you hadn't kissed or been intimate in over 4 weeks.
Every since he split with one direction you had witnessed a new side to Zayn.
"What are you looking at!" he sneered, "Why isn't dinner ready?"
You shrugged your shoulders lowing your eyes to the ground trying not to meet Zayn's.
"Seriously you sit at home and do nothing all day. All I expect is dinner on the table when I get home. Is that so hard to ask!" he bellowed making you whimper.
You weren't going to cry, but you couldn't help it your hormones were acting crazy.
"What did I ever do to you?" You chocked out, wishing you could have sounded stronger then you had.
"Do?" he laughed, "That's just it, you don't 'do' anything!"
"...And you do I suppose..." you fire back even more pissed that Zayn was accusing you of doing nothing. When you actually do most things around the house.
His head tilted slightly with an amused grin, "What I do, is give you everything you want. So don't tell me that I do nothing!" the grin became a suggestive and ugly smirk.
"Well what's the use in making you dinner when you come home at all hours of the morning drunk. I never know when your coming home anymore Zayn." He raised his eyebrows as he sucked in a deep breath.
"Maybe it's because I'm not ready to have a baby."
You gently placed your hands on your baby bump in shock.
"Get out of this house now Zayn!" You spat out, before you would crumble into pool of tears. You knew your baby could sense you were upset as he or she had started to wiggle around like mad.
As soon as Zayn started yelling again you felt the baby give you swift kick to the left side of your bump. Your eyes instantly widened as you felt another. You rushed over to Zayn and grabbed his hand, placing it on the left side of your bump where you had felt your baby kick in hope that this would change Zayn's mind or at least calm him down. Maybe feeling the baby move would help. But as soon as you grabbed his hand he pulled away walking up the stairs to your bedroom.
You tremble, but you had to stick to your decision. "Please leave!" you said, following him into your bedroom. You couldn't help the tears roll down your checks.
You were lost. You didn't see this coming. You never expected this; you prayed he would speak and say he regretted saying that the baby was a mistake.
But he didn't.
He grabbed a bag and shoved as many of his clothes in it as he could. Once he was finished he pushed past you and left without saying a word.
The last thing you heard was the slam of the door.
Harry:
All day your baby girl had been restless and she was starting to get on your nerves. You loved being pregnant but you missed being able to relax without being disturbed or having to toss and turn trying to get comfortable because of your swollen belly.
You had just sat down on the sofa trying to relax as you waited for Harry to come home from work.
You were trying your hardest to stay awake but you were so exhausted you couldn't help but fall into a restless sleep.
Your daughter had tired you out with her constantly moving around all day making you exhausted and moody.
As soon as you felt a pair of hands on your stomach you jumped in shock opening your eyes to see your gorgeous boyfriend kneeling down beside you on the sofa.
"What are you doing?" you shrieked as you felt Harry's hands move around on your stomach.
"Can't I say hello to my baby girl," he says as he continues to rub your swollen stomach.
"Not when I just got her to stop moving." You whined frustrated that you couldn't get a break. You knew your hormones were making you overact but all you wanted was for 5 minutes of peace and quite.
"I'm sorry baby maybe if I try singing to her she might stop moving." You nod as you scot over on the sofa making room for your boy to lay behind you so you could cuddle.
"I do know that that mummy and our baby girl want to cuddle with daddy though," you smiled down at him as his eyes lit up hearing you say 'daddy'. He slowly slid behind you on the couch, hands resting on your bump. You snuggled into him and closed your eyes as he started to sing quietly.
"You are my sunshine, my only sunshine
You make me happy when skies are grey
You never know, dear, how much I love you
Please don't take my sunshine away
The other night, dear, as I lay sleeping
I dreamt I held you in my arms
When I awoke, dear, I was mistaken
So I hung my head, and I cried
You are my sunshine, my only sunshine
You make me happy when skies are grey
You never know, dear, how much I love you
Please don't take my sunshine away"
You felt a sharp kick to the lower part of your belly making you both jump in shock.
Harry looked down at you as he stopped signing. Was that?" Harry asked in shock. You nodded and put your hand above his on your belly. "OMG She's kicking Y/N," he whispered happily, "Daddy loves you baby girl."
"And daddy loves you too." Harry says looking down at you as he places a gentle kiss on your lips.
"I'm the happiest man alive. I love you both so much," he chuckled kissing your lips again before stroking your belly gently.
"We both love you more than anything," You said, snuggling closer to him as his hand rested on your belly. He pulled you closer making sure his girls were both safe and sound.
Niall:
Niall had been so excited to become a daddy. He'd told you that he's been dreaming about it since he was young. You were really upset that you had to deliver the news that would crush his dreams.
You were both very excited and couldn't wait to become parents. Niall was so excited to become a dad, which made it even worse.
How were you going to ring your husband while he's on tour and tell him your child had died.
He would be a mess.
You needed to call Niall but you were so scared.
You were afraid to ring and listen to him brake down on the phone.
Maura had kept asking you if you had called him but you kept saying "no" You really didn't know what to say or how to tell him.
You knew how excited he was when you told him you were pregnant and you just couldn't bear telling him that you had lost your child.
You spent about 7 hours siting on the sofa contemplating weather or not you should actually tell Niall.
You really didn't want to tell him over the phone but you had no choice with Niall being on tour.
The whole time you sat there staring into space thoughts were running through your head trying to think what you did wrong.
Maura and Denise were trying to tell you that you did nothing wrong but you couldn't help but feel like this was your entire fault and having to tell Niall on top of it just scared you to death.
You knew deep down he wouldn't leave you or anything but you just felt like you were letting him down. Maura ended up calling him and he rushed to the nearest airport catching the first flight back to London.
The minute he stepped into the house you broke down in tears and just kept telling him you were sorry.
"I'm sorry, Ni! I'm sorry! This is all my fault!" you sob.
You were sorry that your baby boy or girl was gone.
Niall sits down next to you and gathers you into his arms.
"Baby, it's not your fault," he tells you, rubbing reassuring circles into your back,
"Hey, look at me," Niall says. You shake your head; you couldn't bare to look at him. He grabs your chin, forcing you to look up at him.
"This isn't your fault," he says, "We can try again as soon as you're ready...or we don't even have to try again if you don't want to...we'll do whatever you want to, okay?"
"I want to try again as soon as we can," you say looking up at him. He nods agreeing with your decision.
Every time you said you were sorry Niall tried to reassure you it wasn't your fault and that your baby was in a better place.
"Lets get you into bed because tomorrow going to be a long day " he whispers helping you up off the sofa.
You were schedule for a c-section tomorrow meaning Niall wouldn't miss saying goodbye to his baby boy or baby girl.
"Thank you, Ni," you say, mustering up the saddest smile Niall had ever seen. "I'll look after you," Niall mutters, "I always will princess."
The two of you were fast asleep when you felt a slight pain in the lower region of your stomach making you jump in shock.
You sat up and placed a hand on your baby bump when you felt it again, "Niall! Get up!" you panicked, nudging his arm a few times.
"What?" he groaned still half asleep.
You quickly grabbed his hand and placed it on your stomach in shock.
Niall instantly woke up when it happened again, "Wait...was that what I think it was," he asked, eyes widening in shock.
"I don't know Niall. It feels like the baby's kicking but how? How could our baby kick when it's not even breathing," you said softly as your eyes began to tear up. You were in shock. The doctor had told you your baby boy or baby girl was stillborn.
How could he or she kick?
How could he or she be alive?
He sat up with you and kissed your lips trying to calm you down, "Maybe we should take you to the hospital." he whispered as he rubbed your belly a bit trying to calm you down.
