"Babe, hurry up! We are going to be late!
You look fine, now let's go!" I yelled up the stairs to my boyfriend of six months,
Liam Payne.
"But what if they don't like my tattoos and stuff, Alex? Like what if they think I'm a bad influence or something. What am I supposed to say if they ask about the meanings behind my tattoos? I don't have an answer! Maybe we shouldn't go through with this, Alexandra."
"Yeah, okay. You wish you could back out of this now. Let's go, Li." I replied in a sarcastic tone.
I pulled Liam out of the house and we got into my Mercedes. Liam was all dressed up, and I was just sitting there with a nice shirt on with jeans and my converse. I looked good enough to go see my family, though. My kool- aid red hair was in a cute side braid, and I had on my favorite pair of earrings. We pulled up to my childhood home to see five cars in the drive way.
"Alright babe, relax. You need to calm down. Everything is going to be fine."
"Okay! I got this!"
"Stop looking so scared! C'mon!"
We got out of the car and walked up to the door. I knocked lightly, and my three brothers answered.
"ALEX!" Jai, Luke, and Beau yelled.
"Hey guys!" I yelled, hugging them.
"This is Liam, my boyfriend." I said, excitedly pushing Liam towards my brothers. Their smiles quickly faded.
"Okay...let's try this again. This is my boyfriend, Liam! Liam, this is Jai, Luke, Beau. Guys, this is Liam."
"Oh, uhhh, nice to meet you!" They responded, suddenly looking very serious. We shuffled, awkwardly into the house.
"Dinner is almost done!" My mom shouted from the kitchen, where she was cooking with my dad. I walked into the kitchen to see my mom scooping spaghetti onto six plates.
"Hi, mom!"
"Hey, sweetie!" She responded, before bring some of the plates to the table. After all six plates were out, I realized that my mom forgot the seventh plate.
"Uhh...mom? I kinda brought Liam with me. We need another plate."
"Oh, okay. I guess I'll make another plate." She said, with a smile. She brought out the seventh plate, and we ate. We joked around a bit. After dinner, we were all sitting at the table. My brothers spoke up.
"So, Liam...what are your intentions with our sister?" Luke asked, referring to Jai and Beau.
"Uhhh...I definitely think that she is the one, so I plan on marrying her. After marriage, I think we might have a few kids." Liam replied, looking at you when he said the last line.
"Cool, cool. I hope you know that we don't plan on being uncles before you too are married."
"Oh, no worries there! I don't plan on being a father before marriage."
"That's great. I like that we are on the same sheet of music."
"Do you understand that if you two are together, you would have to take care of our baby sister the way we would?"
"Yes, and I plan to take care of her the way I would want a man to take care of my sisters."
"Wow, Alex. He's a keeper." Luke whispered, too loud.
I chuckled a bit before responding with a loud, "I know!"
"Do you understand that Alex deserves the best and you better treat her well, or we'll..." They said, Jai slowly standing up.
"Okay, boys! I'm sure that Liam will take great care of me! You can sit down, Jai." I said, stopping Jai after he said we'll.
He took a seat.
"I understand." Liam said.
"Great! Then we will be good friends!" Beau said, standing up and patting Liam on the back.
"Okay..." I said, breaking the awkward silence.
"Well, we are going to steal Liam for a bit. We'll be in the man cave." My brothers announced.
"Whatever! Just don't...hurt him." I mumbled.
As soon as they left the room, my parents started asking me questions.
"Where do you see yourself in a few years, Alex?"
"Well... I see myself with Liam. Possibly married with kids. I don't know." I quickly responded.

After a few hours of questions, Liam and I finally left my parent's house.
"I think your brothers are starting to like me, babe." Liam said.
"They better because you'll be around for a long time." I said, shooting him a smile.
"I hope so." He responded, kissing my knuckles.
