Song Preference: 'Story Of My Life' ~ One Direction

Liam:
"Seems to me that when I die, these words will be written on my stone"

"I love you" she whispered in my ear, "I love you too" I said, meaning every word. "Tomorrow is our big day. Are you nervous?" She asked, looking up at me, her arms wrapped around my torso. "No, I can't wait to make you my wife already" I smile, kissing her forehead. "Me too. I better go, if any of the girls or my mum find out that I've sneaked out of the room to come see you, they will have my head" she laughed slightly, letting go and delivering one last kiss to my lips. "I'll see you soon Mrs. Payne" I winked, as she made her way to the end of the hallway. "I love the sound of that" she smiled, opening the elevator door to get to her floor.

"For richer or for poorer. In sickness and in health. Till death to us part" we had recited after each other at the ceremony. It had ended about a half hour ago and me and Y/N hadn't let go of each other just yet. "Li, promise me something" she asked, playing with my fingers on our way to the reception. "Anything Love" I smiled, eyes locked on her. "Promise me that you'll never get bored in this marriage. If there is something that's bothering you, anything, you come right out and say it" she pleaded, not looking me in the eye. "Look at me. I can never get bored with you. That's a promise that I will keep. I love you with all my heart and no matter what happens, that will never change you hear me. You are the one I want to spend the rest of my life with. Till death do us part remember" I smiled, showing her the wedding band on my finger. She smiled brightly, setting her lips on mine, where they truly belong. "Those words will be with us forever. When we settle down, when we buy our own house and move out of the apartment, when we have kids, when we make love and when we are old and grey, even when we die, they will be written on our stones" she breathed, grinning from ear to ear. "I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you Mrs. Payne" I said, taking her hand to help her out of the car, going into the venue.

"Ready?" She asked. "Hold on a minute. I'd like to have you to myself for a little while longer" I protested, leading her to a private room before we join the rest of the guests. "How about I take this garter off with my teeth right now?" I asked, sucking lightly on her neck as not to leave a mark. I had been trying to get out of having to do it in front of all those people for ages but nothing was working. I kneaded her breast lightly, hoping to turn her on as a moan escaped her lips. "Nope" she smirked, getting out of my hold from under me. "You have to pay for getting me all hot and turned on now" she teased, poking her tongue out at me. "Now let's go. The sooner we get out there, the sooner we can leave and the sooner you can have all this" she explained, pointing to her own self as I sprinted off the bed, leading her to the reception.

Niall:
"I'll drive all night, too keep her warm and time... It's Froooooozen"

"Niall, were are we going? We've been driving for hours" Y/N whined, looking out the window. "I told you, I'm not telling" I smiled, rubbing her hand. I knew how much she hated surprises, she wanted to know everything that was going on and she didn't like secrets, but I liked teasing her a bit. "Please, I really really really wanna know" she pleaded. "Nope" I responded, popping the 'p'. "We are only half way there so relax cause it's going to be a long night" I explained, eyes focused on the road ahead of me. When she didn't respond, I stopped at a red light, looking at her to find her sound asleep.

It's funny how I'd be talking to her one minute and she'd be sleeping the next. I pulled at the side of the road, grabbing a blanket from the back seat and draping it over her knocked out figure. She looked beautiful when she was asleep, like a little angel. I felt as if time had stood still whenever I looked at her and admired her features for a few minutes. Her hair was tied up in a messy bun, dangling loosely off her head, her eyes shut, long thick lashes covering those beauties. Her little button nose which I would kiss all day if I could. Then her perfect lips, those lips I could get lost in for hours on end. I never felt this was about a girl before and it's always been hard opening up to one but with her it seemed easy enough, she made it easy for me. She never wanted any of the fame or the fortune. She wasn't in it for the designer fashion wear or the celebrity events. She was in it for me. Me, The lazy Niall who'd much rather treat a girl to junk food and movies rather than a five star restaurant where they served food the size of a nail. She supported my career and never got mad when I couldn't go somewhere. That is the girl I want to spend the rest of my life with.

"Are we there yet?" Y/N mumbled sleepily. "Good morning sleeping beauty" I smiled, kissing her lips softly. "We have arrived to our destination" I announced, getting out of the car. "You're an idiot" she smiled, also getting out of the car. I sat on the hood of the car, dragging her with me, sitting in between my legs, the blanket draped over my shoulder, wrapping it around her also. "My Gran would drive me all the way to the other side of Ireland once a year to watch the sunrise and I wanted this year to do it with you" I smiled, nuzzling my face in her neck. "This is beautiful" she sighed, resting her head on my shoulder, looking at the sunrise. It's as if time was frozen, and it was just us in the world, warm in each other's embrace all loved up, I wouldn't have it any other way.

Louis:
"Leave my heart open, but it stays right here in it's cage"

"I can't do this anymore Lou. I'm sick and tired of having to please everyone. I feel like I don't even know who I am anymore. I'm sorry Lou, I love you and when someone loves someone else you have to set them free. I want you to find someone who is better than me. You deserve the best and I am not even close. Good-bye Louis. I wish you all the best in life, God only knows how much you deserve it" she concluded, shutting the door behind her, taking my heart with her. If she wanted this, I'd do anything. So here I am, sitting at a bar surrounded by an endless amount of booze and beautiful women, what a great night, NOT!

"Another shot for me and the lady" I announced drunkenly to the bartender, hooking my arms around the waist of swaying, blonde girl I was hooked on. "Do you even remember my name Louis?" she asked, smiling at me as she rested her hands on my shoulders, around my neck. "Sorry, it's the alcohol" I smirked. "It's Ashley. C'mon I'll take you home. What's your address?" she asked, as I downed the two shots, Ashley didn't want any. "Yeah, we can have sex" I cheered, going into a taxi. "Shhhh, no we will not have sex Lou" she laughed as I slept the whole way home. "Is this it Lou?" she asked, stirring me awake. "Mhm" I mumbled sleepily, opening the door. She led me to my bed, taking off my clothes and tucking me in. "Why did she leave me Ashley?" I muttered. "Who?" she asked. "Y/N. Why did she leave me? I thought she loved me" I muttered. "Stay with me Ashley, I'm so lonely" I pouted. She sighed, taking a shirt after slipping of her dress and shoes. "Sleep Lou" she demanded. Morning rolled by and a girl I didn't remember was slipping on her dress. "Did we...?" I asked rubbing my eyes. "No" she laughed, "You kept talking about Y/N all night" she smiled. "I'm sorry" I apologized, getting out of bed. "It's alright, just go after her Lou, you really do love her" she smiled, leaving.

"Lou, what are you-" Y/N started as I interrupted her with a kiss. "I miss you so much. I tried moving on, one night stands, going on dates, trying to forget you but nothing's working. You can't seem to leave my mind. You have to come back to me Y/N. It doesn't need to be like this, please..." I urged, pleading to win her back. "I love you Lou, I really do" she explained. "Have you really not been able to forget me?" she asked surprised. "Have you forgotten about me?" I asked, scared of the answer. She shook her head. "I couldn't even if I wanted to" she admitted, moving over to me. "Then come back to me, all you need to be pleasing is yourself. You're perfect in my eyes" I mouthed, hooking my arms around her hips, my hands circling them softly. "I missed you" she smiled, kissing my lips.

Zayn:
"Written in these walls are the stories that I can't explain"

Simple silence is exchanged between us. Not the angry silence or the awkward silence, just pure relaxation silence. These nights doing absolutely nothing productive, are the moments that mean the most to me, just warmed up in eachother's arms are the best memories that one can have. My mind is aimlessly watching the TV playing a football game. Her hands, flipping the pages of her book every few minutes, absorbed in the story. I don't know why I like these moments, maybe it's because there are no words needed to be exchanged, we were comfortable just being together, there was no need for talking. Maybe for a little while.

"Let's play a game" I announced, taking the book from her and placing it on the bedside table. "Hey, I was reading that" she pouted, crossing her arms. "C'mon, Let's play 20 questions, but good questions, not pointless one's" I explained. "Alright, sounds fun" she smiled, as we faced each other on the bed. "Alright me first. What's the first thing that went through your mind when you meet me?" She challenged. "She seems really cool. I want to get to know her better" I replied easily. "My turn. Tell me about your first kiss" I smirked. "Well, I was 13. It was my first date with this guy Mitchell. He was nice but really chatty so without even thinking I kissed him so he could shut up. He didn't talk for the rest of the date" she concluded, making us both laugh. "My turn. What's a deal breaker in a relationship for you?" She asked. "Someone who acts stupid, I can't stand those girls who can't even hold up a conversation" I sighed. "Okay, any sexual fantasies?" I laughed as she blushed furiously. "Uhm, I've always thought about doing it on a hammock on the beach. I don't know, looks cool" she giggled. "We should, sounds fun, Have I ever embarrassed you?" I asked. "It's my turn, and that's a very good question" she smirked. "Shit" I cussed, not expecting that. "So, have I ever?" she pressed on.

"Well once" I admitted. "When have I ever?" she gasped jokingly. "The first time you met my family. You were so nervous you were acting a little... simple" I shrugged. "Really?" she asked. "I mean, my parents thought you needed help" I shrugged. "Oh My God" she whispered, not looking at me. "Hey, they changed their minds when they got to know you better. My mum told me how smart you were a while later" I smiled, trying to ease her up. "Just give me a minute" she whispered, going into the bathroom and locking the door. "Hey, don't take it personally" I said, through the door. "How can I not? You're parents thought I was retarded. And I embarrassed you in front of your own family. I'm such a fail" she cried. "It's just between us, c'mon let me be there for you. It was just bad judgment" I pressed on, as she unlocked the door and fell into my arms.

Harry:

"The way that I've been holding on so tight, with nothing in between"

"Hey sweetheart, I'm home" I announced, as I walked to the front door of our apartment, closing the door behind me. "Y/N, Love, are you here?" I shouted, through the room. "Guess no one's home" I said to myself, heading to the shower. As I was changing, I heard the front door open so I flung out of the room, heading downstairs to greet my girl. "No Mum, I'm freaking out. I haven't told him yet, and I'm scared he'll be angry. This isn't what we planned" she panicked on the phone, dropping the keys and grocery bag on counter and floor respectively. "What do you need to tell me?" I asked from behind her.

"Shit, Harry. Don't do that. Scaring me half to death can harm the- me" She stumbled, clutching her chest. "Sorry, I forgot it can harm the me?" I teased, kissing her lips. "So what do you need to tell me?" I urged, helping her put the groceries in their places around the kitchen. "Nothing" she said, clearly lying. "You know you can never lie to me. I know you like the back of my hand. Now tell me" I pleaded. "Fine. I'm-I'm-uh.." she stuttered. "Just spit it out Y/N" I frowned. "I'm pregnant" she blurted quickly, shutting her mouth. "You're what?" I asked flabbergasted. After a few minutes, neither of us said anything. "Please don't leave me. I can't do this on my own" She sobbed, breaking the silence. I approached her quietly, wrapping my arms around her as her body shook with sobs. "This wasn't expected but I could never leave you. We will take care of our son or daughter together as a family" I smiled, hugging her tightly, closing the little gap between us. "Are you sure? You have so much going for you Haz. I don't want you to give up your career" She whispered. I wiped her her tears with my thumb before replying. "We can work something out, but if it comes to that extreme I will give up anything to have you and my baby safe, happy and healthy right beside me" I assured, kissing her soft lips.

"That's everyone" I smiled, hanging up the phone call with my mum and sister to tell them the news. "How did they take it?" she said, smiling slightly. "They are ecstatic" I grinned, wrapping my arms, around her once again as she was cooking dinner for the both of us. "Hey, I can see the look of worry in your eyes. Stop! Just relax and enjoy it. We have the blessing and help from both our families and friends, we are happy together, we have a home and money to take care of all of us, there is nothing to worry about" I explain, snaking my arms around her waist from behind, her back connected to my chest. "I know, I'm just nervous I guess" she shrugged, turning around. "We are in this together remember, there is nothing to be scared about. Now how about I finish dinner so you can rest those legs" I offered. "Haz, I'm not dying and I'm barely three months in" she groaned, attempting to make me give in.
