Louis was just a normal six year old boy. He was quiet, shy and he really didn't have that many friends. He was also a little too use to being alone.

Jay and Mark had just adopted him and signed him up for school and then on school days, sent him to school. He would usually stick to himself but once in awhile, someone would come up to him and ask him how he liked it here in this town and all he would say was "This is my temporary home. Its not where I belong. Windows and rooms that I'm passing through. This is just a stop on the way to where I'm going. I'm not afraid because I know this is my temporary home."

The other kids asked him if he was moving to a different town when he grew up and he said "Yeah. My actual home is up in the sky. Its a mansion." and he would just leave it at that unless someone said something like "That isn't possible." or "Uh huh. Yeah sure. Whatever you say."

Louis didn't let it bother him though. He knew the truth and the truth had set him free. He also told people that and then told him his life verse.

His life verse is John 8:32. And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

Kandy was a young mom that lived on her own with her small daughter. She was looking for a job because she didn't want her daughter to grow up in the halfway house that they were currently living in.

She found a place where they were looking to hire and she went in with her daughter and the manager told her what to do on the application and told her to answer it to the best of her ability.

She nodded and did so. At night before she goes to bed she whispers to her daughter "Someday we'll find our place here in this world."

She knew that they weren't going to be here long and that one day, they were each gonna have a mansion.

John was an old man. He was in the hospital just waiting until the day that God called him home. He knew that it would be soon. His granddaughter Lillian came to visit him. She didn't get to visit him that often because she was out touring the world doing book signings.

She got there and everyone else waited outside the room. They said hi to each other before they started talking about stuff.

She looked at him and said "I don't want you to go."

He looked at her and said "I have too. Don't cry for me all see you all some day."

He then looked up to the ceiling and said "I can see God's face." He then quietly slipped away into a sleep and never woke up. He was home. He wasn't in anymore pain and he had a mansion. He was just down on earth because he had to work and do what God told him to do.

A/N: In the next few preferences, I am going to be doing sad songs and I'm not trying to make you cry in either of them I just thought it would be a preference where yeah its to complicated to explain and I hope that none of you get mad at me or offended by what I put in these preferences.

I do believe that Carrie Underwood wrote and named this song Temporary Home because all the people that have accepted Jesus into their hearts are just countryman. We, travel in this world to spread the gospel and win people to Christ. This kinda ties into the song I Got a Mansion because Jesus has already built mansions for those who are saved and who are going to get saved.

In Jeremiah 1:5, God says Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

So God knew what we are going to act like, look like, be like, knew who we were going to marry, knew how many kids we were going to have. God knows everything.

God isn't building mansions. He's already built them.

John 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
