You had woken up early because it was Louis' birthday and you wanted to make breakfast for your boyfriend and hopefully soon to be husband.

You know that usually the guy is supposed to propose but you had just watched Mr. Morton from Schoolhouse Rock and the lady proposed.

Louis had gone out a few weeks ago with Liam to pick out an engagement ring and unbeknownst to Louis, since he thought he was helping Liam pick one out for Sophia, he was actually picking one out for you.

It was a beautiful engagement ring and when Liam put it on your finger yesterday outside of yours and Louis' flat, paps caught it on camera and now there was a rumor going around that you were cheating on Louis and Liam was cheating on Sophia.

Completely and utterly untrue. You finished cooking breakfast and the boys had just come over.

You asked them to carefully bring things up because you lot were all eating in yours and Louis' room.

You placed a tray of food on the bedside table and started to rub Louis' back in an effort to get him up.

He groaned and looked up at you, squinting his eyes, just not seeing the boys behind you or the ring on your hand.

"Morning BooBear! Happy birthday! You need to get up so you can eat breakfast with us and then get ready for the day because your family is going to be here in about six hours."

"Who's us?" he asked?

You didn't answer because you moved out of the way so he could see the boys behind you.

He sighed but laughed when they all said "Happy birthday Lou!"

~Four and a half hours later~

The boys had all brought a change of clothes with them so you told them to do something productive while you were taking a shower and getting dressed.

His family was finally here and his mum was helping you set the table and finish any odd last bits.

You didn't know it but Harry had asked a professional baker to make Louis a cake and then deliver it.

You guys had all sat down to dinner and you were having a hard time keeping your left hand under the table.

The dinner finally finished and the door bell had just rung.

Harry got up and went to the door and five minutes later came back with a cake box.

Harry asked who wanted cake which was everyone so after cake and some more talking, you stood up from your chair, clinked your glass and then started on your speech that you were going to improv.

"My dearest Louis, words can't describe how much I love being your girlfriend and how much I love you and your pranks. Right now, I am standing here as your girlfriend but later I hopefully will be standing here as your fiancée."

"Before you say anything and before you read the newspaper later or watch the news and see me and Liam together with a rumor probably above our heads, I want you to know that when you went out with Liam to look at and pick out one engagement ring, you were really picking one out for me."

"BooBear, I love you so much with all my heart. I know the guy is supposed to propose but I already asked for your mum and Dan's permission. Boo, will you marry me?"

Louis' eyes gathered tears and he stood up and kissed you before pulling away and saying "yes".

You sighed in relief and then took a selfie and posted it on Instagram.
