He makes you feel insecure (Part 1)
He Makes You Feel Insecure
Harry: You Meet His Childhood Friend.
"Harry!"And your weekend in your boyfriend’s hometown went down from there. “G/N!” he shouted, running up to her and squeezing her in his arms. “It’s been so long since I last saw you!” She giggled as he spun her around, “I know!" He slowed down and lowered her so her feet were touching the ground, “So…where have you been?” “University, mostly,” she replied, pushing her hair back from her face with a smile. “And I see you’ve gotten busy.”She was looking at you as she said that, widening her grin into the fakest expression you had ever seen. Harry looked over at you as if he hadn’t known you were here, “Oh. Yeah. This is my girlfriend, Y/N,” he took your hand and brought you closer to him. “Y/N, this is my best friend from high school, G/N.” “It’s nice to meet you,” you grinned, holding out your hand for her to shake.“The pleasure’s all mine,” she returned the gesture, taking your hand in hers for a firm shake. That was when Harry decided to pull you two into a bone-crushing hug, “Look at this. My two girls finally meeting! Now all we need is Gemma and my mum…and I’ll be with all my girls.” Well, you got your time with Gemma and Harry’s mum. Loads of it. “Y/N? Could you watch the pie for me while I slice the bread?” Anne asked as she walked away from the oven. “Of course,” you replied, taking her place. It wasn’t like you didn’t enjoy spending time with them.
You loved Gemma and Anne as if they were your own family, but it hurt to know you were helping in the kitchen while Harry and G/N were out on the back lawn, preparing the corn to be cooked.
Now, you were just like every other girl. Jealousy wasn’t something new to you, considering Harry was constantly paired up with someone in the tabloids or being surrounded by girls, but this girl made your blood boil green with envy. You couldn’t put your finger on exactly why she did. There were too many things to point at, and you didn’t have enough fingers. She kept leaning on him, laughing her pretty little head off and putting her hands on his arms and shoulders. At one time, they were looking at each other, and their noses were nearly touching! You knew Harry would never ever hurt you, but you were worried. What if he decided he liked her as more than a friend? What if he decided to dump you for her?“Y/N…Please keep your eyes on that pie, Love,” Anne softly reminded you over her shoulder. “Oh…Sorry,” you murmured, opening the oven door to check on the apple pastry. “It needs a few more minutes.” “Thanks, Dear.”You looked back out the kitchen window, leaning on the counter. Outside, you could see G/N resting her head on Harry’s shoulder while cleaning the corn. The sight brought tears to your eyes, but you figured you couldn’t blame Harry. This girl was his best friend that he hasn’t seen in years. Maybe you should just trust him and give them their space for the weekend. So that’s what you did. When you all sat around the table for dinner, you sat next to Gemma and Anne, ignoring the animated conversation they were all having with G/N and only talking when talked to. After dinner, you stayed in the kitchen to help clean up while Harry went off with G/N again. “Y/N? Are you okay, Love?” Anne asked while rinsing another dish. You took the dish and dried it, “I’m fine, Anne.” “You don’t look fine, Y/N,” she whispered, watching you put get on your tippy-toes to put the plate away. “You’ve been down since you came in…” You shrugged, “I’m just tired.” “Hmm…” Anne regarded you suspiciously before sighing and deciding not to press the issue.Harry and G/N appeared again, in a cloud of giggles, once you and Gemma had settled down on the living room couch.Your boyfriend came over to you, letting himself fall into the cushions beside you and wrapping his arm around your shoulder. The minute you felt his hand on your shoulder, you got up bidding everyone goodnight. “It’s only seventeen o’clock, Y/N,” you could feel his surprised gaze on you, but you didn’t dare look his way. “I’m tired,” you whispered, heading towards the stairs. You heard him get up from the couch, and a few seconds later, his warm hand was holding yours, “Well, let me say goodnight.” “Not in front of everyone,” you frowned, pulling your hand away from his. “Babe…” he looked hurt by your rejection. “I’ll see you in the morning,” you put on a smile as you looked about the room before turning and taking the stairs two at a time.
Liam: He Says Something That Makes You Feel Like You’re Not Giving Him Enough Space.
"I’ve just been busy lately. Between my job and Y/N, there’s just no time for me anymore, you know?" You weren’t meant to hear your boyfriend say that. He thought you were upstairs in your bed with your nose in a book. “No…I’m not saying that. I just wish I had more time. Sometimes I miss the single life.” Ouch. That hurt. “Not like that, Niall. I didn’t mean it like that. I’m just saying that I miss the days when I could come home and just sit on the couch, watch one of my favorite shows…” Maybe you two had gone too fast. Maybe you shouldn’t have moved in with him at this point in your relationship, but he was the one who asked, pointing out that you two were obviously serious since you had been together for about a year and a half. “And I miss going to the club or bar with you guys.” Why couldn’t he do those things now? Sure, you hardly saw him as it was between your work and his; not to mention he would be leaving on tour next week for a few months…But it wasn’t like you were holding him back or didn’t trust him to go out with his friends. “I know Louis and Zayn manage to, but I don’t know, Niall. I just feel bad about leaving her here alone. She isn’t much of a partier.” That was true. You weren’t really one for clubbing or getting drunk, but that didn’t mean you couldn’t let loose once in a while. You were about to walk in and ask to talk about this when he said something that completely shattered you.“I’m kind of rethinking the whole thing. It’s just not fun anymore.” When the tears began to take form, you knew you weren’t going to walk in there or talk to your boyfriend tonight. You also were going to go to bed thirsty. You had trouble sleeping that night, wrapped up in Liam’s arms. You so badly wanted to pull away, but your heart was already too attached to him. You wanted to be happy with him, and more than anything, you wanted him to be happy with you. If he wanted space, you were going to give it to him, starting the moment you woke up.***********************************************************************************
“Morning, Love,” Liam stretched while walking into the kitchen. You didn’t look up from the bowl in your hands, “Morning.” “So…what’s on the agenda for today because it’s a beautiful Saturday, and I was thinking—” “Well, I’m going shopping with Perrie and Jade today,” you interrupted him, walking over to the boiling hot frying pan on the stove, “and then having lunch with them. After lunch, I have to go grocery shopping, and then I have dinner plans with a colleague of mine.” “Oh…well, I guess we could always go to the park tomorrow…” he said, coming up beside you to wrap his arms around your waist “I’m sorry, Liam, but I can’t,” you shook your head with a frown. “I’m going to the gym tomorrow morning with Lou. We’re probably going to pick up some Starbucks afterwards, so…you’ll have to make your own breakfast tomorrow, if that’s ok. “ “Um…sure. I don’t mind, but going to the gym doesn’t take up the whole day,” he pointed out, resting his chin on your shoulder. “After getting Starbucks we’re going to go to this new spa I heard about from Eleanor, and that’ll take up most of the afternoon. I also plan on seeing Lux when I drop Lou off at her flat.” “How about we go for dinner, then?” he asked, letting go of you so you could serve breakfast. “I’d love to, but…I’m going to be so tired after all that, Liam. I’d rather just stay home and curl up with my book,” you put his plate down on the island and took your seat. “But, this is our last weekend before I go away on tour…” Instead of walking over to where his dish was, he walked over to you and kissed the top of your head, “Don’t you want to spend some time together?” You shrugged, picking up some eggs with your toast, “We’ll see each other on Skype, and it’s not like we don’t have phones.” “But, Y/N…” “And they do say that distance makes the heart grow fonder.” He went silent after that and walked over to the other side of the island to sit down. It took everything you had to keep from breaking down then. Seeing Liam so hurt was taking its toll on you, but this is what he wanted. "I don’t know what’s going on, Y/N,” he uttered, his eyes focused on his plate, “but I don’t like it.” You shrugged, picking up your dirty plate, “I just want some me time.”
Louis: He’s Been Seen Hanging Out With His Ex.
What Does Y/N Y/L/N Think About Her Boyfriend Louis Tomlinson with His Ex?
Louis Tomlinson Seen with Ex Eleanor Calder in Local Starbucks. Louis Tomlinson Cheating on Girlfriend Y/N Y/L/N?
You rolled your eyes at the tabloid magazines as you made your way down the aisle at your local supermarket. You knew Louis had been hanging out with Eleanor. That was no secret, but Louis wasn’t the type of person to cheat on you. All these pictures on the magazines, especially the ones of him kissing her or holding her hand, were taken back when they were together.Louis and Eleanor were just friends. So why did it bother you so much? You let out a sigh as you scanned the cards on the other side of the aisle. Louis’ mother’s birthday was coming up soon, and you wanted to send her a card. You weren’t sure what kind to get, though, considering this was the first time you had to buy your boyfriend’s mother anything. You bet Eleanor had gotten her a birthday present, not just a card. You groaned at your own thought process. Why did you keep doing this to yourself? So what if Eleanor was practically a model and smart and funny and…Shit. She was perfect for Louis, and you knew it.“There you are!” You looked up from the birthday cards and turned to see your boyfriend running down the aisle.“I got the two percent because it was on sale, and they didn’t have any plain bagels left. I got poppy seed because you told me you didn’t mind them…” he began rambling on and on while putting the groceries he had collected into the cart. You just nodded your head while looking through the cards, “Louis?” “…and there—Yes, Love?” he instantly cut himself off, smiling at you like the fool he was. His expression was contagious, and you soon found yourself grinning, despite your sour mood, “What kind of cards does your Mum like?” “My mum?” he looked at the ceiling thoughtfully. “Well, I usually get her something funny…” “But what should I get her, as her son’s girlfriend?” you asked. “Well, Eleanor used to get her something sentimental…”And you don’t know what he said after that because you just couldn’t listen to him after he said her name. You didn’t want to hear about his ex anymore. In the end, you picked a random card and went to the cash register. After paying for all your stuff, you went home and had dinner. “So…Y/N…” You played with the rice on your plate, moving each little grain around, “Yes?” “You know how I’m playing in tomorrow’s football game?” You stilled your fork, “Yes…” “And…” he put his wine glass down, “you said you couldn’t make it.” You looked up at him now, “Yes. I have to work, unfortunately. Why?” “Is it okay that I invited Eleanor? She really wanted to come see me play.”She could always watch him on the Telly. Why does she have to be there? You shrugged off his question like it was no big deal, looking down at your chicken, “Why are you asking me if it’s alright?” “Well, there have been a lot of rumors going around lately…” “Yeah…so?” you asked, putting a piece of chicken in your mouth. “I just don’t want you getting the wrong idea.” “Why would I get the wrong idea?” you wiped your mouth with your napkin. “It’s no concern of mine whether or not you hang out with your ex.” “Are you sure?” he arched an eyebrow. “Why wouldn’t I be? Should I be getting the wrong idea?” “No, but you are my girlfriend, so I sort of expected you to…” “To what, Louis? To feel insecure because my boyfriend is hanging out with his beautiful ex-girlfriend who is probably more worthy of him?” you were yelling now, and you really hadn’t meant for it to get this out of hand. Honestly, though, he should’ve stopped talking about her after he got your consent. Louis just looked completely taken off guard, but eventually, he found his voice, “Y/N…I had no idea…” The sound of your chair scraping across the hardwood floor interrupted him, and you were glad it did because you couldn’t listen to him right now. Or for the rest of the night. Every time he tried to bring up the subject or show some affection, you brushed him off. You really just needed your space; you had shown Louis a side of you that you didn’t want to admit you had. You could play the part of the jealous girlfriend like a pro, even though you knew you could trust him. Finally, it seemed like Louis had had enough of your mood. He had stopped you on the stairs, grabbing your arm, “Y/N, we need to talk.”
Niall: You Don’t Feel Like He Wants You Sexually.
"You’re too cute, Y/N," Niall chuckled, sitting back on his knees as he watched you attempt.“You…” you gasped, looking up at him with a lazy smile hanging on your lips, “you promised you wouldn’t…” “Wouldn’t what?” he smirked, knowing perfectly well what he had vowed to you. “That you wouldn’t tickle me!” you exclaimed, scowling at him. He threw his head back in laughter, “And you actually believed me?” he looked at you, shaking his head. “You really are too cute, Y/N.” Cute. Oh, how you loathed that word. In the beginning of your relationship with your boyfriend, you didn’t mind that adjective at all, especially when he used it to describe you, but now…you were afraid he found you too adorable to, well, make a move… You two hadn’t had sex yet, even though you had been dating for a year now and were living together. At first you thought he didn’t want to rush it, which you were grateful for because you wanted to at least be fiancés before he took your virginity, but now it was getting kind of worrisome.Shouldn’t he have asked you by now?Shouldn’t he have made a move by now?Your thoughts were interrupted by a chaste kiss being pressed to your lips, “What’re you thinking about, Princess?” You smiled at him, bringing his lips back onto yours, “You.” “Me?” he smiled against your lips. “What about me?” This was your chance to make a move. Who said you couldn’t have a little fun while keeping your virginity intact? “Mmm…” you hummed. “I’d rather not say…” “Why not?” he asked, kissing the corner of your mouth before trailing down your neck. “Because…” you gasped, arching your chest into his as your hands moved up the back of his neck.“Oh, fuck,” he hissed against your ear, turning you on even more, but just when you thought things were about to get good, he got off of you and walked around the couch. “Niall?” you sat up, shocked by his sudden coldness. He didn’t answer as he left the room, and a few moments later, you could hear his feet on the staircase that led up to the bedrooms. At first, you didn’t know what to do. Did he want you to follow him up and continue in the privacy of your shared room? Did he not feel well? Did he not like it? Did he not want you?The last question made your heart jump up into your throat. He always was calling you cute or adorable… He had never called you sexy. Did that mean he didn’t want you?Suddenly feeling very insecure about yourself, you decided to go upstairs and see what was wrong with Niall. When you entered your bedroom, the first thing you noticed was that the bathroom door was closed. “Niall?” you walked over to the door and knocked on it. “Sweetie?” “…yes, Y/N?” he sounded like he was in pain.“Are you okay?” you frowned, getting worried.“Yeah,” he replied hoarsely. “I’m fine. Why?” “Well, for one, you kind of just left me there in the heat of the moment…” you chuckled nervously, “and two, the place you run to is the bathroom…” “Oh…don’t worry about it, Y/N. I’m fine.”Don’t worry? How could you not worry when it was clearly obvious he didn’t want to be with you sexually?“Okay…” you said, not caring if he heard or not as you walked out of the room. Niall remained in the bathroom for another half hour before you heard the shower running. You sighed, lying down as you flipped through the channels on the Telly before finally settling on some Friends reruns. But your mind wasn’t on the Telly. You were too worried about your relationship with Niall. How could you two have a future together if he wasn’t attracted to you sexually? Everyone had their needs, and if Niall didn’t want you to fulfill his, he would eventually go looking elsewhere. This didn’t necessarily mean he was going to cheat on you—because you knew he never would—but it meant your relationship with him would one day end because of it. The last thought alone made your heart ache. Deciding it was no use trying to get your mind of this, you turned off the Telly and headed upstairs to your bedroom.
The shower was no longer running, but the bathroom door was still closed. On the other side, you could hear Niall humming She Looks So Perfect while he finished getting ready for bed. You, not wanting anything to do with him right now, changed as quickly as possible and got under the covers. You turned the lights off and turned on your side, facing away from the bathroom. You just wanted sleep to take you away.
Zayn: You Don’t Know What You Are to Him.
“So…I know all the fans want to know…who, here, is spoken for?”Only Liam and Louis raised their hands out of the five boys sitting there.“Wait…Zayn? Why isn’t your hand up?” the interviewer asked, leaning forward on her chair. “I’m single,” he chuckled. “You asked who was spoken for.” “I know,” she smiled at him, “but there has been a ton of photos floating around of you and that girl…what’s her name…?” “Y/N,” he replied, leaning back in his chair, “and we’re just friends.” “But some of those pictures show you two getting pretty cozy as well as holding hands…” Zayn shook his head, “Think what you want, but you asked me a question, and I answered it. Y/N and I are just friends.” Well, now you were even more confused. From the moment you met Zayn Malik, he was an enigma to you, even when you were best friends. The stuff he said and did often threw you off balance and had you up all night, wondering what he was thinking in that beautiful head of his. But you were—until now—sure of one thing: the way he had been treating you lately went a little beyond friendly. It started with small gestures, him wrapping his arm around you as you walked down the street or taking your hand in his when you were walking through a crowd. Now, when you were public, his hand stayed firmly in yours even through the most deserted streets. In private, you and Zayn were constantly on top of each other, trying to get as close as two people could be. It never seemed to be enough for either of you, but on the flip side, he would have you over for a movie night or just to hang. During those times, he was so sweet, flattering you and giving you feathery kisses. You didn’t understand what kind of relationship you had with him. You two never labeled your outings as “dates,” and he never asked you to be his girlfriend, even though you wanted him to so badly. Now, it was quite obvious after that interview that your feelings were one-sided.So why did he treat you like this? For the sex?But sex wasn’t the only activity you two engaged in…Feeling heartbroken and bored from contemplating the situation, you decided to turn off the Telly and do something else. So you called up Y/N/F “Hey, Y/N! What’s up?” “Nothing much. Kind of bored…so I thought I would call you and ask if you want to go out?” “Sorry…I don’t swing that way,” she said, making you laugh, “but I’d be glad to hang out.” “Alright. Where?” “Well…I’ve been meaning to go shopping…” You sighed. Shopping was Y/F/N’s go to, and she still got a monthly allowance from her parents. Money was no object to her. “Fine…but we’re not going to any of those designer stores…” “But those are the best!” she whined.“They’re also too expensive,” you reminded her. She let out a sigh, “Alright, but we get to have lunch in the food court.” “Deal.” An hour later, you were walking through the mall with Y/F/N with one bag in your hand. You two had visited Victoria’s Secret first since they were having this amazing sale on underwear. Now, you were scanning the stores for clothes to put over your new undergarments.Suddenly, you felt your pocket vibrate. You stopped off to the side of the walkway and took out your phone. It was Zayn. You ignored the call. Finally, you two found a store that satisfied both your needs: stylish and affordable. You started looking through a rack of dresses when your phone vibrated again. And it was Zayn, again. You rolled your eyes and clicked “ignore call.” “Who keeps calling you?” Y/F/N came over to stand beside you.“Zayn,” you sigh as a notification comes up.
Zayn: y rn’t u picking up, babe?
“Are you two…?” she looked up at you after seeing the text, her eyebrows furrowed. “I don’t know,” you shook your head, putting your phone back in your pocket. “Oh…” “Yeah.” After that, you went back to browsing and managed to try on a few things without being interrupted by Zayn. You found two dresses and a jacket you liked, so you left the dressing rooms and got on line. Y/F/N joined you, “So…how long have you and Zayn been…?” You shrugged, “A few months.” “And he hasn’t revealed his intentions yet?” “Nope,” you shook your head, “but you know how Zayn is…” “True.” Your cell vibrated, and it wouldn’t stop.
Zayn: We need 2 talk.
Zayn: Idk y u r acting distant, but…I need to c u.
Zayn: Please, Y/N. Pick up ur mobile.
Unable to take much more of this, you dialed his number. He answered on the first ring.
