He breaks up with you Part 1
Harry :
You had lost count of the amount of times you and Harry had fought about the fact that he was always getting photographed out with other girls. He always claimed it was innocent and to be honest, you believed him but it didn’t stop you from getting uncomfortable and paranoid. It was particularly unfair because you knew exactly what his reaction would be if it was the other way around but whenever you brought that up in an argument he would immediately dismiss it saying he wouldn’t care even though you both knew he would. You were both sitting cuddled up on the couch watching TV one night when a five-minute celebrity gossip segment came on before an episode of X Factor. You weren’t really paying that much attention until you heard something that sparked your interest. “One Direction heartthrob, Harry Styles is at it again. This is the fifth girl he has been photographed with looking particularly cozy as they strolled through the streets of London together yesterday afternoon.” You looked at Harry with an eyebrow raised. “Care to explain yourself?” you asked and he didn’t reply. “You told me you were at rehearsals all day yesterday Harry,” you said sternly. “Yeah well what else was I supposed to do Y/N?” he said, starting to get angry, “if I had told you where I was actually going, you would have gotten all angry and I couldn’t be bothered with it.” You stood up and walked away from him, taking a few deep breaths before replying, “I’m sorry Harry it just makes it look bad when you lie to me about where you’re going, you have to realize how it looks to me when you lie about meeting up with another girl?” you looked at him with sad eyes but he just scoffed at you. “Why are you so paranoid? Do you even trust me?” he spat at you angrily, you started to get upset at the way he was speaking to you but you did your best to conceal it. “Of course I trust you Harry,” you said quietly, “but you have to understand where I’m coming from.” He looked at you with sad eyes and he calmed right down. “I do understand Y/N but this relationship isn’t healthy anymore. I feel like I have to lie to you. You don’t trust me,” he looked into your eyes as he spoke. “Have you ever thought that maybe it’s just not working anymore?” Your eyes immediately began to fill with tears, “Harry, I love you,” you said as tears slid down your face. “I’m sorry Y/N,” he said quietly, “but I think we need to end things before we end up hating each other.” You walked away from him as you tried to stop yourself from breaking down completely. “We can still be friends?” he said hopefully as you stood with your back to him. You turned round and looked at him through watery eyes, “Yeah right Harry,” you said before walking out the front door.
Liam:
Your eyes shot open as you woke up and you jumped out of bed excitedly and began getting ready. You hadn’t seem Liam in over a week because you’d both been so busy working and you had plans to see him today at 12pm and you were supposed to spend the day together and then stay at his. You showered, did your hair and makeup, spent a good 15 minutes deciding what to wear before practically skipping all the way to the park you and Liam were meeting to have lunch. You saw him standing waiting for you so you ran up to him and wrapped your arms around his neck planting kisses all over his face. “I’ve missed you so much,” you gushed happily. He stood awkwardly as he hugged you back and pressed a quick kiss to your cheek before muttering a half-hearted “I’ve missed you too,” back to you. You were a little bit hurt by his actions but you didn’t even bother to get overly upset by it because you were so excited to be spending the day with him. You held hands as you strolled through the park together looking for a nice place to sit. You chatted away happily as you talked about how much you had missed him and how excited you were to have the whole day together. You were still talking rapidly when Liam stopped suddenly. “Y/N, can we sit on this bench for a minute, we need to talk…” he said, suddenly really serious. You nodded as you knitted your eyebrows together with concern and sat down next to him. He let out a deep sigh and then began to speak. “Look, I’m just going to get right to it,” he said, “I don’t think we’re working out anymore.” He looked up at you for a reaction. “I’m not quite sure I follow…” you said as you began to worry slightly. “Y/N you know exactly what I’m trying to say, we haven’t even seen each other in over a week,” he said, the tiniest hint of frustration in his voice. “Yeah, but we’re together now…” you almost pleaded with him. “But Y/N, you don’t understand, I didn’t even miss you that much,” he said and your eyes immediately began to fill with tears. “I didn’t see my girlfriend for over a week and I didn’t even really notice,” he said as he looked away from you. “I missed you,” you said as you wiped your cheeks with your hands. “I’m sorry Y/N, it’s just not the same as it used to be,” he said as he stood up slowly, “I guess I’ll see you around.” He began to walk away from you, “I wouldn’t count on it Liam,” you said tearfully and he offered you a small smile before leaving you alone and crying on a park bench.
Louis –:
You stood at the bar with your best friend, eyeing your boyfriend angrily as a beautiful brunette threw herself at him and he didn’t seem to mind. He laughed happily as he whispered things into her ear, shared his drinks with her, danced with her. All the while knowing that you could see him. You decided to step outside, you were just sparking up a cigarette when you felt someone’s hands snake around your waist and pull you against them. “Should you be smoking?” you heard Louis whisper in your ear. You wriggled out of his arms, “probably not,” you said exhaling, “but you shouldn’t be spending the whole night flirting with another girl so I guess we’re even.” Louis sighed and lowered his head as he pulled you away from the crowd of people so you could talk in private. “You’re right, I’m an asshole,” he said as you stopped a little bit down the road from the club. “Yeah, you wouldn’t like it if it was the other way around,” you pouted at him. You fell into his chest and kissed his jaw, letting him know that you accepted his apology but he pulled away from you. “Y/N… I…” he began to say something but stopped speaking and sighed as he ran his fingers through his hair. “I just have a lot of girls throwing themselves at me,” he exhaled as he looked at you. “Well yeah… that’s to be expected though Lou, you’re an international pop star,” you said, confused as to where this conversation was headed. “I don’t know Y/N, maybe… maybe I should try being single for a while,” he said quietly, shuffling his feet awkwardly. “Maybe you should try being single for a while?” you repeated as your eyes began to water. Louis immediately started trying to comfort you, begging you not to cry. “What does that even mean Lou?” you asked as your voice trembled. “I don’t know Y/N, like we could end up back together down the line… it’s just hard… all these women keep…” you cut him off midsentence. “Oh I get it Louis,” you said, your voice getting angrier and angrier with every word, “you want to fuck around and I’m getting in the way of that” you spat at him, “and when you get it out your system, you’re going to come crawling back to me and act like the breakup was a mistake when it wasn’t, you just wanted a free pass for a few weeks.” You stared at him and be began to stutter saying that that it wasn’t like that, he just needed to see what it felt like to be alone for a while. “A while Louis? If you end this now, even if you claim it’s only going to be for “a while” I won’t wait for you, it will really be over,” your eyes began to water again. You wanted nothing more than for him to apologize and tell you that he couldn’t live without you but he just looked at you and nodded. “Well I guess it’s over then,” he said as he started to walk away again. You closed your eyes as tears streamed down your face, “Yeah, I guess it is,” you whispered to yourself.
Niall :You finished work early and began to make your way back to the flat, excited to get home because you knew Niall was there with his childhood best friend and you couldn’t wait to meet her. You walked into the flat and began to make your way through to your living room where you could hear them speaking. You were about to walk in but you stopped because you were sure you could hear her crying. “I love you, Niall,” you heard her sob, “I can love you better than her, I know you better than her and I know you love me too… you’re just scared.” Your eyes widened as you processed what she was saying, was she really asking Niall to leave you to be with her? You walked into the living room and stared at her angrily. “What’s going on here Niall?” you asked as he shot up out of his seat. “Y/N!” he said laughing nervously as he walked towards you and pressed a quick kiss to your lips, “you’re home early.” You nodded as you looked down at the crying girl on your couch, “yeah, and good thing I am, wouldn’t want to miss out on all the fun you’re having here,” you said as you looked at Niall with a raised eyebrow. “Y/N, don’t be like that, please,” he said quietly. His friend got up quickly and wiped her face, “Look Niall, I’m going to go, call me later,” she grabbed her jacket and walked out the front door leaving you and Niall alone. “What was that?” you asked defensively. “Y/N…” he began but you kept speaking. “Absolutely ridiculous, does she really think you’ll leave me for her?” you asked. Niall let out a sigh, “apparently she does,” he sat down on the couch and lowered his head into his hands. “Well you would never do that,” you said as you sat opposite him on the coffee table and crossed your legs. He didn’t reply. “You would never do that… right Niall?” you asked him. “I don’t know Y/N, I’m just confused, I’ve known her for so long… she knows me better than anyone.” You stood up and walked away from him, not wanting him to realize how much his words actually hurt you. “I see…” you said quietly. “Y/N, don’t be like that… don’t tell me you’ve never thought about being with someone else. Are you trying to say you have never wondered about your other options?” he asked as you turned to face him. “No Niall, I haven’t. Because I love you and only you, that makes you my only option,” a tear slid down your cheek as you spoke. “Do you love her?” you asked, looking him directly in the eye. He turned away from you immediately and you chocked out a sob. “Look Y/N, I think we need a break, I need to think…” You raised your hands to stop him from speaking anymore and grabbed your jacket before heading out the door, not wanting to cry in front of him anymore.
Zayn : You were deeply in love with Zayn. You didn’t know what it was about him but he had made you fall so deeply in love with him so quickly that it honestly took your breath away a little bit. You couldn’t imagine your life without him in it. You were sat on the couch one day watching a film and you could tell he was in a bad mood. “What’s wrong babe?” you asked gently as you cuddled into him. “Nothing,” he grunted in reply as he moved away from you slightly. “Are you sure?” you asked as you sat up and looked at him. “I said I’m fine,” he said before standing up and walking out the back door. You watched him through the window as he lit a cigarette and took a long drag from it before releasing it and throwing his head back as he did. You were worried about him; he kept going in really bad moods and refusing to tell you why. It hurt you quite a lot if you were being honest because if you were ever upset or angry about anything, the only person you ever wanted to talk to about it was Zayn. You knitted your eyebrows and gave him a look of concern as he walked back into the room. “What’s that look for?” he asked bluntly before sitting down on a different sofa. You couldn’t help but think that it was because he didn’t want to sit next to you anymore. “I just…” you began and then stopped, “are sure everything’s okay?” You regretted your words as soon as you said them because Zayn rolled his eyes and groaned loudly in frustration. “I fucking told you everything was okay so can you stop asking! I wasn’t even annoyed before, but I am now because you’re practically suffocating me.” He looked over at you and realized immediately that he’d taken it too far, your face fell and he sighed before he began to speak again. “Look Y/N… I’m sorry okay,” you nodded as you tilted your head back to stop the tears in your eyes from escaping and sliding down your cheeks. “I just… I need to be alone sometimes,” he said and you nodded. “I understand Zayn,” you said as you forced a small smile, “I know you like your privacy.” He looked at you with sad eyes, “No Y/N I don’t think you do understand,” he said in a soft tone. “I think I need a break,” you looked at him with a slightly puzzled look, “I think I need a break from us…” The tears you’d been fighting now began to flow freely down your cheeks. “I’m sorry Y/N,” he said before getting up and grabbing his jacket. “I just think it’s for the best…” and he walked out your front door without another word.
