going back to his ex part 3

Niall: You stared into his eyes, trying to find something to tell you to stay or walk away. There was a hint of guilt and sadness as he stared at you. You sighed and looked around, contemplating running back to your best friend's house. But you didn't. "Hey," you said, avoiding his gaze. You knew that if you were looking into his eyes as he spoke you would give into every word he said. "I miss you," he said, reaching out for your hand. You pulled away from him, taking a step back. "I don't really care, Niall." Lie. "Don't say that. I miss you and I made a huge mistake by leaving you. I didn't realize what I was leaving behind," he said, quietly but loud enough for you to hear. "Is that supposed to make me feel any better about what you did?" You finally gained the courage to look up at him, keeping a poker face as you spoke. As you looked at him, he looked so vulnerable. You were slowly caving, but you weren't letting it show. "No, but I needed you to know. I miss you. I love you. I regret what I did and if there is anything I can do to make it better, please tell me. I'll do anything." This time when he reached out for your hand, you let him take yours into his. "It'll take time for me to forgive you. There will always be something in the back of my mind telling me that I'm not good enough for you." He looked down, waiting for you to reject him. "But I miss and love you, too." You squeezed his hand after you spoke, reassuring him that there was a slight chance that you would let him back into your life.

Zayn: You grabbed your bag, ready to walk out of the parlor, but there was too much commotion outside. There wasn't much you could do, but sit back down and face him, and try to work up you appetite for your treat. He looked at you warily as you walked back to your table, where he had taken a seat. He slid your bowl back to you, but you didn't look up at him. "I'm sorry," he said. You didn't say anything, at least not right away. "Y/N, I know I was wrong and what I did was horrible. I left you for someone I already knew wasn't with me for the right reasons. I regret my choices and wish that I could take back what I did. I've been trying to figure out ways to fix what I undid. I want you back," he said, sincerely. "I don't think that's a good idea, Zayn," you said, looking up at him. "I'll fix it, I prom-" "No. Listen to me, I don't think I can be with you ever again. You made me feel like shit when you chose her over me. I came in second to her and that's no how it should have been. I had always doubted whether or not you had really gotten over her, and you didn't." There was a silence that came over your table, but there was still distant screams coming from outside. "I have to go," you said, getting out of your seat. He grabbed your arm and stopped you, "I'm sorry." You nodded and leaned down to give him one last kiss on the cheek. There was no fixing what had been done.

Louis: You quickly turned around, wishing that it wasn't real. It felt like forever before you felt a hand on your back, a shiver ran through your body when contact was made. "Ladies. Y/N, can I please speak with you," he said, removing his hand from your back. You looked at your best friend, wanting help, but she encouraged you to go. You silently got up, avoiding his gaze, and his touch, and walked to a secluded area in the restaurant. You took a deep breath and turned to face him. There were lips on your instantly, it felt so surreal. It took a moment for you to get control of your arms and push him away. "Don't do that," you yelled, quietly. "I'm sorry," he said, looking down. "What do you want, Louis? We have absolutely no reason to be talking right now." "There's no excuse for doing what I did, I deeply regret it. I missed you the second the words left my mouth. I don't expect you to forgive me, ever. I tried so hard to get in contact with you, but you were avoiding me at all costs. I was surprised you were here, but I was also glad. I just needed to talk to you and tell you how much I'm sorry, and that I miss you very much." You let his words sink in. There was a million and one things going through you mind, but there was something telling you to give him another chance. He was ready to walk away seeing as you hadn't said anything, but you grabbed his arm. He looked at you confused. "There's a tiny chance that I miss you too and that I would be willing to work on this, but only if you are." He smiled and pulled you closer to him, giving you a kiss. "Anything you need me to do, I will."

Harry: There was a little voice inside you head telling you to push him away, and that's what you did. You pulled down your dress and ran out of the club. The cool night air hit your body as you walked out of the double doors. A hand grabbed your arm just as you were about to go hail a cab. You turned to face the green-eyed boy who had broken you heart. He stared at you for a minute, eyes trailing to your lips. He leaned into kiss you, but you pushed him away. "I miss you, Y/N. I really, really miss you," he said, looking into your eyes. You could tell he was intoxicated and that made you not believe what he was saying. "Whatever, Harry. You're drunk and talking nonsense," you said, rolling your eyes. He pulled you over to the side, backing you up against a wall. His arms were blocking you from leaving and there was no way you were going to avoid the conversation. "I'm not drunk and even if I was, I would still be telling you the same thing. I miss you." "Bullshit. You left me for someone else, someone that you said you were over. All the things you told me, like I love you, all became a lie. I don' think I ever want to see or talk to you again. Let me go and leave me alone. Please," you huffed, pushing his arms away. He didn't say anything as he dropped his arms and letting you walk away. Before you left you took one last look at him and you could see there was guilt laced with hurt in his features. That was the end of you and him.

Liam: Before you could agree or disagree, he was walking over to you. You stared at him, still shocked that he was in the same space as you. "Can you sit and here me out, please?" he asked, looking at you with hope. He gave you a look that you couldn't resist and you knew from that moment that there was no hope for you. You sighed and walked over to the chair you had previously been sitting in, him sitting across from you. It took a minute for him to start to talk and the whole time you had been playing with your hands in your lap. "I know you didn't expect to see me here and I'm sorry if you feel ambushed. I just needed to find a way to talk to you. I needed to apologize for the shit I put you through. It was never my intention to hurt you. It was a huge mistake to leave you for someone else. I'm a shit person and I feel awful. I'm not say these things to make you change your mind about how you feel about me. I'm saying these things because they're true and I needed you to know. There's nothing in this world that I want more than for you to forgive me, but I know that it is a long shot. I'm going to say one more thing and leave, okay?" You nodded, not knowing what else to do. "I will always love you. That's something that didn't and never will change. I'm going to go now," he said, getting up. He gave you one last look before he walked towards the back door. "Wait," you said, jumping out of the chair. He turned right before he walked in the house. You ran to him and into his arms, your actions were a surprise to the both of you. "I miss you and I love you. I know you messed up, but something is telling me that you are really sorry and that I should forgive you. It's going to take some time, but I want this to work."
