You had always been a strong girl, you could take a lot, you would always shoot back if there was someone bothering you. But as the years passed you became quiet, you had your reasons. Your dad had passed away and your brother Liam moved away. You saw your mother cry for years, Ruth and Nicola tried to be there for your mother and you but they failed.
You used to love school and enjoy being there surrounded by friends, it was a different story now. You loved the schoolwork but you hated school with a passion. You were alone, you had no friends since you were classed as the "smart nerd that nobody speaks to"
Liam wasn't there for you, he didn't even text or call. You only saw him for a few days during christmas break and it never turned out good. He would always blame everything on you.

"Ew, there she is again! The ugly bitch with those horrible braces" you heard somebody shout as you walked past a group of girls. You decided to ignore it once again.
"Her hair is so disgusting, she should consider to visit a hairdresser" Another one said.
"She has a brother that doesn't give a fuck about her" the third yelled. The words cut like knives and you couldn't controll yourself. You took a step a head, put your head up high and spoke:
"Hold on here! Who the fuck do you think that you are? If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it at all. By the way, have you ever heard of something called Karma? We're soon going to finish high school ... Remember that you're not going to have each other stuck in your asses all the time" you lectured before turning around and walking away.
"You little piece of shit" one of the yelled before she attacked you. One thing that she didn't know was that Liam was on his way to leave a few books. He just walked into the hallway when she attacked you.
"Hey there! You do not touch my sister! Who the fuck gives you the authority to even lay a finger on her huh? " he yelled at the girl who was looking at him with wide eyes.
"Oh ... Uhm we were just playing around" she lied. Liam shook his head in disblief.
"Quit your lying, I'm not stupid! Now listen to me, if you ever lay a finger on her or even say a word to her I'm going to fuck your life up. You can wave bye bye to your college. Understood?" He barked. She nodded and ran away with the rest of the girls.
"Y/N I love you, don't ever let anyone bring you down. I know that I've been an asshole but I promise that it won't happen again" he told you softly as he held you tight.
"It's all forgiven, I love you too"
