*Beep beep beep*

The ringing of the alarm clock was shut off as soon as it had started. The blonde woman could do so without even opening her eyes due to her habit. Retracting her arm back, she leisurely raised her eyelids, revealing a pair of icy blue orbs which were still fogged with sleepiness.

She tucked the strands of her long blonde hair that had come out from her back braided hair. In the process, she turned over to the other side, causing her to come face-to-face with her sleeping husband.

When did he.....oh right, he came home late last night. 

Being sleepy herself, Catarina gazed at the relaxed features of her husband, Otori Eiichi. Yesterday, work kept him busy. Not that it was unusual. With HEAVENS growing more and more, their workloads were also increasing. That's the reason, Eiichi had returned home after midnight. With today's morning schedule being mostly clear, he could rest peacefully now.

Before she could realise, a silent yawn escaped her mouth. Even though she wanted to join him in the comfort of sleeping, she knew she had to get up. So, moving her face closer to him, she kissed his hair lightly. Sleep tight, Eiichi.

After so many trials and tribulations, Eiichi and Catarina had tied the knot during the first half of the year. Weeks before their marriage, the two had moved out of HEAVENS' penthouse. They couldn't really stay there forever, considering they would be getting married soon.

So, after house hunting, the couple had found their new home which was only a few walk away from the agency. The apartment was simply perfect for them, for it had a nice high view of the city, was nice and comfortable for the two of them and there wouldn't be a problem if a new family member were to be added in the future. Most importantly, it had more than enough space for the rest of HEAVENS to hang out. A perfect home for the music lovers indeed.

It's still hard to believe that we ended up getting married. Catarina thought when her eyes trailed off and caught sight of their wedding picture hung on the wall. It was a long road here.

Meanwhile, as breakfast was being served on the dining table, the brown haired idol exited the bedroom, now fully awake.

"Oh Eiichi, you're up."

"Mhm." Eiichi walked towards his wife, greeting her with a smile. "Good morning, Catarina."

"Morning." Catarina smiled back. "Did you get enough rest?"

"I did, though," the males took a quick glance at the clock, "you let me sleep for quite some time. It's already past nine."

Catarina grinned in reply. "There's no harm in starting the meeting a tad bit late. I already notified the guys and got their 'okay's."

The rest of HEAVENS were aware of their leader's tight schedule so of course they wouldn't miss the opportunity to let him get a proper rest for once. 

Eiichi could only smile in gratitude at his wife's consideration "Thanks, angel."

Getting up on her toes, the female placed a quick kiss on his chin. "Sure."

" 'A day spent with the angels'?"

All of the members of HEAVENS and their composer were gathered in the lounge of their penthouse, discussing the details of their upcoming album.

Catarina nodded when the males repeated her idea. She explained, "Remember what I said once? That the fans would want to feel closer to you guys? It made me think that getting to spend a day with you all would make your fans the happiest."

"Certainly," Eiichi placed his chin on his hand, contemplating what she explained. "That is a rather novel concept."

"I like it!" Nagi chimed. "Spending a day with the angels... the angels can get to know more about Nagi's cute sides!"

Kira nodded. "The angels....are sure.....to enjoy it."

"Then let's go with this!" Yamato grinned, excited.

"I also agree," smiled Eiji.

"What do you say, Eiichi? Are you also of the same feelings as us?" Shion asked the leader.

"It's decided then," claimed Eiichi, his smirk showing his zeal. "A day spent with angels from the beginning to the end- this is what HEAVENS will be aiming for!"

Responding with nods of agreement, HEAVENS went back to their discussion.

"Now that I think 'bout it, how exactly are we gonna apply this theme?" Van looked at the rest, causing the males to ponder about it as well.

"Actually," the composer gave a closed eyed smile, "I thought about it earlier and came up with something."

"Oh? What is it?" Her words piqued Eiichi's curiosity. He hadn't been aware that she had already been thinking about the album. But knowing his workaholic partner, he should've expected it.

"How about we divide a day into seven different time zones?" She proposed.

"Dividing the day.....from dawn to dusk...."

No words needed to be exchanged. A single look and everyone started brainstorming and digging deep into the concept.

"Phew, the chronology of the album is finally done!" exclaimed Van, flopping down on the couch.

"Good! This fits HEAVENS to a T!" The leader looked over the timetable one more time. "With this, we can surely give the angels the best day ever!"

"I look forward to.... seeing the angels' reactions." Kira returned to the lounge, holding a tray of coffees. Catarina was behind him, holding another tray.

"I'm sure everyone will be delighted." Catarina commented with a smile. "All of you hold nothing but your fans' happiness at heart. It will definitely reach them through your songs."

Her blue eyes met Eiichi's purple ones and they shared a smile among themselves. The female proceeded, determined, "And, of course, I'll be sure to give you the best songs!"

"Your songs are always the best, Rinna," Nagi told the blonde, earning himself a grin from the said blonde.

"But I hope you don't exhaust yourself. You have been really busy lately," spoke a concerned Eiji. 

"Yeah. You even composed new solos for Quartet Night just a few months ago," commented Yamato, leaning back and chugging his drink.

"Haruka is busy writing songs for STARISH for their tour. So, I don't mind working for Quartet Night." She took a seat next to a drowsy Shion. "In fact, I'm really happy that I got to work with my brother again."

"And, as always, you composed amazing songs for them," declared a proud Eiichi.

"Thanks!"

Van decided to keep the trail going. "Then you made new songs and soundtracks for 'Black Garden' before composing 'Endless Score' and 'Quartet Crown'."

"Oh yeah, those were really fun. Exploring different kinds of songs is always entertaining and educational."

"Right, I forgot you were a workaholic, Rinna," Nagi teased. She chuckled dryly.

"Our Rin makes heavenly music like no other," Shion mumbled, loud enough for everyone to hear before closing his eyes again.

Catarina giggled loudly at all the praises thrown her way. "I'm flattered."

I truly want to keep making the best music for them. That's why, I want this to be the best album ever!

"So then," The woman began, not hiding her excitement, "shall we start working on 'One Day'?"

"Yeah!"

Akatsuki no Utage

As soon as Eiichi entered his bedroom, he heard a sigh. Turning his head to the source of the sound, he saw his wife, sitting in front of the laptop, head resting on her palms.

He walked over to her chair and placed a hand on her shoulder. "What's wrong?"

"Hmm?" The blonde turned her head, putting her headphones down. "Oh,Eiichi."

"Having trouble composing?"

"Kinda" she turned her attention back to the screen, "I've already finished creating the song. It's just..... the arrangement seems far from perfection."

"I'm sure it'll work out. It's you, after all," assured Eiichi, with a kind smile. "It has been just two days since we settled the concept. There's no rush so stop pushing yourself. The arrangement will come to you naturally."

 Eiichi... She returned his smile. "You're right. I don't have to rush."

A few seconds after simply smiling at one another, Eiichi spoke up. "Oh right, there was something I needed to talk to you about."

Seeing that Catarina's attention was all his, he proceeded, "How do you feel regarding moving back into the penthouse?"

"Huh?" The female blinked.

Seeing her confused state, he explained, "For the time being, that is. You mentioned that spending the whole day with each of us individually will help you grasp a clearer comprehension of the album concept. It will be easier to do so once we move back to the penthouse."

Catarina let out an 'oh' as she recalled her conversation with Eiichi from yesterday.

"So," the brunette looked into her eyes, "what do you say?"

Her smile answered his question. "It's a great idea."

"Good! I'm sure the others will think so too."

"It'll be just like old times!" She grinned as she recalled the fun times they had shared.

"Of course." He couldn't but fondly chuckle at her excitement. "I'll let the others know tomorrow since it's late now."

"Look at the time!" Catarina exclaimed once her eyes landed on the clock. She should've been used to the fact that she forgot about time while she worked. She turned around and again faced her laptop before beginning to save the file.

Meanwhile, Eiichi looked down at his beloved from behind. He truly loved living alongside the rest of HEAVENS but it was his suggestion to move out with Catarina and create their own abode.

He leaned down, his head now on the same level as hers. Catarina felt his presence and thought that he was simply watching her. And that's why she was caught off guard at the new turn of events.

"!!!" She let out a low yelp of surprise when Eiichi nibbled on her earlobe with his lips, his hands on either armrests of the chair. Her breath hitched as her hands froze above the keyboard. Her heart began pounding loudly in her chest.

"Once we move in there, we can't really do this sort of thing," he whispered into her ear. "Let's savour every moment we have..... alone." His warm lips glided down the side of her neck. Eiichi couldn't but smirk when he felt her stiffen at his touch.

H-How can he s-say stuff like that s-so smoothly!?!

Catarina gulped and hastily turned off the device. Eiichi moved himself away as the lady stood up before bringing her closer by the arm. No sooner had she stepped closer than her lips were captured in a passionate kiss, leaving her breathless. He held her close by keeping a hand behind her head and the other on her back.

"Mmm!" Eiichi kissed her deeply, making sharp jolts of pleasure race through her body. Slowly, Catarina moved her hands up his chest, feeling him through the fabric of his t-shirt. She could clearly feel his heart racing too. Her temperature was beginning to rise and a fire was burning inside her. 

She wrapped her arms around his neck, wanting to move even closer to him. The room was filled with the wet sound of their kisses.

"Eii-mnn..."

Their hungry kisses made it difficult to breathe  but every time he pulled away, all she could think about was how much she wanted him. His lips seeked out hers with an urgency like never before and both of them were panting in no time when they finally pulled apart.

 .....This reminds me of the first time we made love.

Catarina closed her eyes and leaned her forehead against his while breathing harshly through her parted lips. Eiichi's state was no different as he inspected her flustered face.

When it felt like both of them regained their breathing, Eiichi slipped a hand inside her tops.

"Ahh!" Catarina straightened up at the sensation. His slender fingers felt cold against the warm skin of her stomach, sending shivers of pleasure throughout her body.

The feel of his fingertips caressing the side of her body set her cheeks aflame. The love and desire inside Eiichi's eyes couldn't be hidden. And neither could hers. Silently, she surrendered herself to him in anticipation of the sweet night ahead.

"I'm almost done....." Catarina mumbled to herself.

Beginning with a gentle intro and then picking up speed......... Gosh! I can't believe I got this inspiration from last night!

A blush appeared over her cheeks at the thought. Memories of the previous night flooded in her head. !!! Don't think about it, Catarina! Focus on the song! 

The composer stretched her arms above her head and let out a silent yawn. That aside, the dawn is a really good time for working on this song. 

With the ghost of a smile, she resumed her work. The sky outside was bright red with the sun rising to declare the beginning of the day. However, the curtains were closed because her husband was asleep beside her on the bed. Or so she thought.

"You'll damage your eyes if you keep working like that."

The raspy voice made Catarina turn around to meet Eiichi, who was without his glasses. Not to mention, he was shirtless.

Why does he always look so good and attractive!?!

"You're up? Are you going for a run with Yamato?" Dismissing her thought, she asked him.

"No, Yamato said he had work early in the morning so he won't be able to train today," Eiichi ran his fingers through his ruffled hair while he answered. "I must've woken up out of habit."

"That explains."

"More importantly," he looked at her, "why are you working so early in the morning?"

"Well.... I figured out how I want to arrange your song and I couldn't wait to finish it." She awkwardly scratched her cheek with her index.  I guess Nagi calling me a workaholic is true...

"Honestly...." Sighing, Eiichi shook his head. "Do you know the word 'self-care'?"

"Ahaha....." Catarina giggled nervously. "Look at the bright side! The song's nearly done! Have a look."

At that, Eiichi couldn't help but put on the earphones with another sigh. She DID put all her hard work in it. Plus, he was excited to hear what she had created.

And, he was proud when he had listened to the music completely. It will definitely be his best solo. A zealous grin stretched at his lips. "Good!"

Catarina read his facial expression and relaxed. "I'm happy that you like it."

"It's the best." He left a peck on her forehead.

"It's thanks to your help last ni-" The female quickly shut her mouth when she slipped something she never wanted to slip.

 !!! He didn't catch that, did he!?

A smirk made its way to his lips. "My help?" He leaned closer. "Last night?"

Blood rushed to Catarina's cheeks. He heard it! Oh gosh! "It's nothing!"

Eiichi placed the device on the nightstand and shifted near her with that teasing smirk while she buried her face with her hands.

"Hmmm....." Wrapping an arm around Catarina's waist from behind, he pressed her back against his bare chest. "So, our intimacy inspired you?"

"Stop teasing me...." She muttered.

"I'm not. In fact, I'm rather intrigued at the fact that you were thinking about something else while we were being so passionate."

"Wha?!" She splattered. "N-No! It just came to me later. That's all!"

"Then I'm glad." He inhaled the faint scent of her long hair. "But since we have time..."

"Woah!" Catarina's world rotated and her back hit the mattress.

"I'll make sure all you can think of is only me," Eiichi seductively whispered.

"E-Eiichi..!"
