Levi's POV

Mommy helped me get into my shirt and pants with a smile on her face. I don't know why Mommy was doing this... we didn't go to a lot of fun places. Mommy, where are we going? I wanted to ask her so many questions, but I didn't want to stop the smile on her face. I love Mommy's smile.

We got into the car when Mommy turned to me, "Aren't you curious where we're going?"

"Mommy, where are we going?"

"We're going to see Hanji and her mommy. Are you excited?"

I nodded, wanting to play with her again. We wanted to be spies again. Hanji's backyard was as big as a playground, and she was so lucky to have a big place for us to play. She says it's always lonely because no one is there to play with her other than her mommy and daddy. She's always happy when I play with her at school.

"We're going to be there all day, Levi, so don't worry about anything."

"Okay, Mommy."

"Oh, but do you want to eat pizza for dinner? Hanji's mommy is going to order pizza for all of us to share. Of course, there will be soda. But you little mischievous goblins need to behave, okay?"

"What are goblins?"

"You and Hanji are goblins," Mommy says, kissing my forehead before she starts the car up. "And I love you for being a goblin with Hanji. I thought you would never make a friend at school... but I'm glad you made one. Hanji's a great friend, isn't she?"

"A great friend, Mommy."

"Good, that's good." Her eyes widened when she grabbed a napkin and coughed into it. "Sorry, Mommy's a bit sick. But don't worry, no one else is going to get sick. Don't worry about me, Levi... my little shining knight in armor."

"Didn't you say I'm a goblin?"

"Oh, don't take it too seriously, Levi." Mommy wipes her mouth before kissing my forehead again. "Come on, let's not make them wait for us for too long."

Hanji and I were sitting in her backyard with big pieces of paper. Hanji was drawing a treasure map with a red marker. I didn't know what to make. Once she is done, Hanji will show me the treasure with a grin. "Ta-da!"

"I like it, Hanji, where's the treasure?"

"The treasure is always where the red X is!" She stands up, looking down at her map and slowly following the red-dotted line. "Follow me!"

"I thought we are spies..."

"We're pirate spies!"

Before we found the treasure, Hanji's mommy came outside and shouted, "Hey ho, come inside, kiddos, it's time for lunch! Unless you don't want to eat hot dogs!"

"Hot dogs!" Hanji drops her map and runs inside the house. I picked up her treasure map and followed her inside.

Once we ate lunch, we made brownies together. After the brownies, we wanted to make a cake. Hanji's mommy said no because we didn't have enough things for a cake. Hanji asked her mommy to take us to the store to make a cake, but her mommy said that brownies were enough. The next time we have a play date, we'll make a cake. That's a promise.

While we were waiting for the brownies to cool down to eat, Hanji and I were watching movies on TV. Before the movie started, Hanji walked into her room and came back with a stuffed teddy bear. He had a little hat on his head.

"This is for you, Levi," Hanji giggles, giving the bear to me. "It's a present."

"Why?"

"Because you're my friend, Levi, my only friend. My best friend." She sits on the couch next to me with the brightest smile on her face. "What are you going to name him?"

"Who?"

"The bear, silly."

"I... I have to give him a name?"

Hanji nods her head, "I'll show you." She quickly runs back to her room before coming back with a similar bear to mine. "This one is Choco. I named her Choco because I like chocolate very much! And Choco loves to eat chocolate too! And because I have Choco, I thought that you should also have a bear like mine."

I look at the bear, sighing, "I don't know yet..."

"Maybe next time you come over, you will have a name for him."

We played and played until we grew tired. We ate pizza and drank soda while watching more movies as our mommies spoke to each other. I don't remember going back home that day. But I always kept the bear. I never named him until after Uncle took me away.
