Orchid was driving Veneer's car since he wasn't exactly in the right state of mind to do that. He'd fallen asleep, his head resting on my shoulder. I had my arm around him, and I was starring out the window.

Orchid suddenly turns into a McDonald's drive through.

"What are you doing?" I ask her.

"Getting us some food. What does Veneer usually order Vels?" She asks her girlfriend.

"Ch, ch, chicken nuggetssssssss!" Velvet exclaimed.

"Okay." Orchid roll down her window and we all take our orders.

Orchid turned onto the highway as I took a bite of my cheeseburger.

"What's that?" A voice next to me asks.

I turn my head and see that Veneer had woken up.

"My cheeseburger." I say. "We got McDonald's, do you want yours?"

"Oooh! Yes please!" He sits up energetically and grins at me like he's five. Cute. I thought.

I give him his food and he practically downs it in seconds.

"Yummy!" He hugs me and hug him back and take a bite of my burger. Right when I'm about to take another bite, when suddenly Veneer grabs my face and his hand explores it.

He drags his finger across my lips and stops. "Their soft." He murmurs. I smile at him and kiss his finger.

He blushes and kisses his finger on the spot I had.

He then starts messing with my hand, starring at the ring on my finger. He kisses it and smiles at me.

"Are you looking at the little present you gave me for my birthday?" I ask.

"Mhm." He murmurs, nodding.

I smile at him and kiss him for a few moments.

He giggles. "You kinda taste like whiskey."

"Do I?" I ask. "Well I tasted tequila on you."

He giggles again, and cuddles up close to me, his arms slithering around me. I wrap an arm around him and finish my burger.

After a while I fell asleep, and when I woke up, Veneer's head was in my lap, he looked so peaceful like that. I watched his chest rise and fall as he sleeps. So adorable.

Then I realized, Orchid wasn't the one driving.

My eyes dart up, my head staying perfectly still, and I see that it's a couple guys I've never seen before speeding down the highway. I was in the way back of the car, so they couldn't really see what I was doing.

I carefully take out my phone, and dial 911.

I turned the volume down as low as possible and hold it to my ear.

"911, what's your emergency?" A lady on the other side of the phone asked.

I keep my voice low, barely a whisper. "My friend's car has been abducted by some guys we don't know. And me and my friend are still in it. I don't know what happened to my other two friends, but the license plate is 186 VAV, it's a Chevy."

"Alright. Where are you?" The lady asked.

"Heading down the highway, north east." I say.

"Okay. We're sending down the authorities." I heard someone typing on the other end of the line.

"Okay. Thank you." With that, I hung up.

I was completely terrified. I pretended to sleep so that maybe they wouldn't know I was awake, but then I felt Veneer stir in my lap. He looks up at me and I mouth: "Don't speak or move."

He tilt's his head in confusion and I whisper to him under my breath: "Don't talk, don't make any noise. Just stay still and stay quiet."

He listens, laying his head back down on my lap and closing his eyes. I could feel him shaking in fear. Thankfully, it wasn't long before I heard police sirens.

"Ah shit." One of the guys says as the car slows down to a stop.

I heard the cops outside. "Step out of the car!"

The two strangers did so and I started banging on the window to get their attention.

The officer sees us and they open the door. I explained what happened and the other guys denied it.

Their arrested, and I began to wonder where Orchid and Velvet were. And I figured that they were probably either, on the side of the road somewhere, or in the trunk since I couldn't find them anywhere else.

I open it and sure enough, there they were. Tied up with tape over their mouths.

We free them of the chords that kept them from escaping and Orchid clung onto me.

Velvet and Veneer looked like they weren't going to be letting each other go for a while. I thanked the officers and they took the two guys down to the station.

We all got back into the car, Orchid once again behind the wheel.

We all decided to go to me and Orchid's house, and when we got there we explained to Lenny what had happened, and after that we all headed to bed.
