I stepped through the door and saw Velvet sitting on the couch.
   "Hi sis! I'm back!" I call over to her.
   "Hi." She said, she sounded bored. Like she was in need of something to do that doesn't have to do with the TV. She looks up and says: "You brought Ritz?"
   "Yeah." I say shrugging.
   "Okay." She returned her attention to the TV.
   "Are you bored?" I asked.
   "What does it look like?" She responded bitterly.
   I walk over and stood in front of her. "Okay, come on." I say and pull her up.
   "Veneer, what are you doing?!" She asked. I'm now pulling her into the kitchen where Ritz was.
   I grabbed Ritz's arm and pulled him along as well.
   "Veneer! Where are you taking me and your boyfriend?!" Velvet yelled.
   "Shut up, we just met!" I say, trying not to let them see my red face.
   "If you say so." Velvet said.
   Ick. Geez I'm not even gay! At least I don't think I am. I've never dated anyone before. Then again, I've never been into girls. And when I was eight I thought Cris Kratt from Wild Kratts was cute. (The animated version) But it was barely even a crush. I dunno. Maybe? No. No. Besides, what would my dad say?

   "So why are we here?" Velvet asked, annoyed.
   "Because we all have one thing in common!" I explained.
   "And what's that?" Velvet said.
   "We're all bored out of our minds!" I exclaimed.
   I'd brought them into my room, sat them down on my bed, made some popcorn, and was now standing in front of them.
   Velvet sat in front of me, looking very unimpressed.
   "Okay, Vels, before you judge the situation, give it a chance." I say.
   She rolled her eyes.
   "Okay! So my idea is that we should all tell each other scary stories. They HAVE to be true! And it has to be something that happened to the teller." I explained, glancing at Velvet. Who once again rolled her eyes. "Sooo, anyone have a story?!" I asked.
   Ritz put up his hand.
   I sat down on the bed in between Ritz and my sister. "What is it?"
   "Well, when I was about nine or ten, I had this dog named Anna, she was really old at the time, and I'd take her for walks at night. Because then we don't run into other crazy dogs. Anyways, on one walk, it had happened very recently, some weirdo had tried to kidnap me, but Anna had nearly killed the guy, so when I went on this walk, was worried about any other weirdos." He paused, breathed in, and continued. "As I walked, I had this eerie feeling, like something bad was going to happen any minute. And... I turned the corner and there was this, this figure, I accidentally dropped Anna's leash and I started running, I got halfway home before I realized Anna wasn't with me, I go back and... And..." He paused again. "She wasn't there. And there was no sign of her. I didn't worry too much at the time cause' I thought she'd just gone home. But when I got back home, she wasn't there either. And for the next few weeks we put up posters, hoping someone might return her, and we called the police, the animal shelter, but... Nothing. We never found her." He finished.
   Both me and Velvet were silent. Velvet had the most horrified face. She looked like she'd seen a ghost!
   "Oh my god." I whispered. "Oh my god, Ritz, I'm so sorry."
   He shrugged. I could tell that he was holding back tears.

   I hugged him.

Ritz's perspective.

   I blinked in the sunlight that poured in through the window. I looked around and then I realized.

   I wasn't in my room.

   I look to my right and see Veneer and Velvet both passed out on the bed. And then it all came rushing back.
   I'd told the story of what happened to Anna, Veneer hugged me, then we all decided to watch Marley & Me, and I guess we must have fallen asleep.
   I sit up, and then I realized I still had my phone in my pocket. I took it out and turned it on. The first thing I noticed was that the battery said it was at seventy- four percent. I hadn't really used it at all yesterday so that made sense. I also noticed that I had a bunch of missed calls from both Orchid and Lenny. And a bunch of messages in the group chat we have.

   You've got to be kidding. Did they really think I'd do that with a guy I'd just met?! That's disgusting.
   "What the hell happened?" A groggy voice came from behind me. I turned around and saw Velvet, Veneer was blinking his eyes open as well.
   "We fell asleep while watching the movie." I explained.
   "Oh, right." She muttered.
   Veneer sat up yawning, stretched, and blinked. "I can give you a ride home Ritz." He muttered.
   "I drove here with you remember?" I remind him.
   "Oh yeah." Veneer yawned.
   "I should probably leave now anyway." I say.
   "Can I come too?" Veneer asked.
   "I mean I guess... Why?" I asked.
   "I dunno, I just think it'll be fun!" He said.
   "Okay." I shrugged.
   "You coming Vels?" Veneer turned to his sister.
   Velvet shrugged. "WHY not?" She sighed.
   We all got some different clothes on, (Veneer let me borrow some jeans and a red shirt.) and Velvet and Veneer brushed their teeth.

   I got in my car and started the engine. Veneer drove him and Velvet. They followed me down the road, until finally, I pulled into my driveway.
   "I do live with my sisters, just thought I should warn you." I say.
   "Lenny and Orchid? Yay! Vels, you are going to LOVE them!" Veneer exclaimed.
   I opened the door and yelled for Orchid and Lenny.
   They came running into the kitchen, Orchid took one look at me and grinned.
   "Well," She said, turning to Lenny. "Pay up!"
   Lenny, with an annoyed look on her face, reached into her pocket and pulled out two hundred dollar bills. "Here." She grumbled. "I'm not gonna lie Ritz, I'm a little disappointed in you, I mean you JUST met him." She motions to Veneer, who was clearly confused, and so was I, until I remembered the chat.
   "Oh my God EW! That is NOT what happened!" I exclaimed.
   "Why are you not wearing your clothes then?" Orchid smirks.
   "Because he let me borrow an outfit!" I yelled.
   "HAH! Pay up Orchid!" Lenny said triumphly.
   "UGH! I can never win against you!" Orchid whined.
   "Well don't go assuming that I'm going to have sex with a guy I'd just met!" I say. Hands on my hips.
   "Oh. OH!" Veneer turned the brightest shade of red I'd ever seen.
   Velvet's jaw dropped and her eyes went wide.
   That's when both my sisters realized who was standing next to Veneer. "OHMYGOSHOHMYGOSHOHMYGOSH!" Orchid squealed, jumping up and down like a two-year-old.
   "HOLY SHIT!" Lenny exclaimed.
   Velvet raised her hand and waved. She looked so done.
   "Can we get a picture? PLEASE?!" Orchid squeaked.
   "Sure." Velvet grumbled.
   They took a picture and Velvet and Veneer left.
   "We made plans to go down to the Suburbs and visit our parents!" Veneer explained.
   "Kay'! See you later!" I called.
   I shut the door and turned to see Lenny and Orchid right behind me. Smirking.
   "Sooo, what DID happen at their house?" Orchid asked mischievously.
   I shrugged. "I watched a movie with them and we all ended up falling asleep." I explained.
   "Did you now?" Lenny smirked.
   "Yes. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm hungry." I say, and push past them.

Velvet's perspective.

   We'd been driving for about four hours now, I was getting really sick of the car and honestly, we hadn't stopped since we left the house.
   I started to rummage through my purse, my phone had died and I needed the charger. When I finally found it, I plugged in my phone and waited for it to start charging so that I could continue scrolling on Pinterest.
   "I've gotta use the bathroom, wanna grab some Burger King?" Veneer asked me.
   I shrugged. "Sure. I could honestly use something to eat." I say.
   "Ok! Great!" He said.
   Soon enough, Veneer pulled into the parking lot of Burger King and I ordered the food while Veneer used the bathroom. I then convinced Veneer to sit down at a table so I wouldn't be stuck in the car.
   "So, anything going on with you?" I ask Veneer.
   He shrugged. "Not really." He said as he chewed. We'd both gotten double cheese burgers with pickles and ketchup only, chicken frys, and mozzarella sticks.

-three hours later-

   Veneer pulled up into our parents driveway and stopped the car.

   I knocked on the door. I heard some footsteps before the door finally opened.
   "You're here!" Our mom exclaimed. "How are my babies?" She asked as me and Veneer stepped in side.
   "We're great!" Veneer hugged her.
   "Yeah, I'm good." I said as I hugged my mom.
   "Velvet! Veneer! How are you doing?" Dad came from the hallway.
   "We're great!" Veneer gave Dad a hug. And then Dad came and hugged me.
   "What Veneer said." I say as we back away from each other.
   "Well dinner's almost ready! Why don't we all go and sit down." Mom offered, and we all followed her into the dining room.
