'I'll show them! I'll show them all! I can be good too!' He shouted in his mind, noticing that (y/n) was even talking to the people. 'She...forgave them? After what they've done to me? She's talking to them, being nice!? After what they've done to us!? That-that traitor!'

   (y/n) was happily talking to the towns folk, she had mostly forgiven them, though she hadn't forgive that one man who harmed Nightmare, that disgusting human.
"Oh well uh Nightmare seams nice but he never talks to anyone."
"He has his reasons." (y/n) replied.
"That makes sense."
"Yeah, oh look at the time it's getting dark should you be headi-" A shriek of terror broke everyone's happiness, (y/n) bolted around to see Nightmare holding one of Dream's apples, he looked in fear that the tree was being turned black and dead.
"N-Nightmare?" (y/n) asked.
"Kill him!"
"He destroyed the tree!"
"No! Stop, it's not his fault!" Dream shouted, trying to hold them back along with (y/n).

'No...no, no, no, no, no! What have I done!?' Nightmare shouted to himself, staring at the wilted tree, he looked back to see (y/n) and Dream, shock was written across Dream's face while (y/n) had a look of fear, the villagers started to shout things while (y/n) and Dream tired to hold them back, getting injured in the process.
"It's all my fault." Hot tears rolled down his face as he ate the apples, he didn't care anymore.

Ahh!

The pain shot through his whole body as he fell down clutching his stomach.

Crack Crack

Tentacles shot out of his back cracking few ribs.

   His skull began to crack as black goop poured out his sockets, it began to cover his body making him unrecognizable.

Heh heh hehehehe

   A dark chuckle erupted from his chest as he sliced through the bystanders, his one eye rested on Dream who was holding (y/n) protectively, not like he cared he only wanted the one golden apple Dream was holding, he grabbed his brother by the neck and threw his down.
   "Give me the apple and I might let you live." Nightmare said.
   "Never." Dream said having no choice but to eat the apple, Nightmare growled at this and noticed (y/n) rushing over dagger in hand.
   "Nightmare please this isn't you!" She shouted tears streamed down her face, how could she have let this happen?
   "Oh but it is (y/n) you just never knew." He replied, yanking her towards him. "Now I have a proposal for you, join me."
