A is for Ariel so agile and spry
B is for Benedick his humor was wry
C is for Cesar who died by the knife
D is for Dromio who had a fat wife
E is for Egeon who lost and who found
F Is for Falstaff who was always quite round
G is for Goneril who had a brief reign H is for Hamlet who wasn't quite sane
I is for Iago the jealousy beast
J's for Juliet who looked to the east
K is for King Lear who lost his left Eye
L's for leontes who made his son die
M's for Macbeth who killed to be king
N's for nurse who brought Juliet a ring
O's for Othello with impossible goals
P is for Portia who swallowed hot coals
Q is for quince who directed some fools
R is for Romeo who followed no rules
S is for Shakespeare who wrote all of these plays
T is for Titus - no children to raise
U is for Ursula who  cleans up the mess
V is for Viola who likes to cross dress
W's for witches who love to mislead
Excluded, on horrors of others they feed
Y is for Yorick, hamlet knew him well
And zoom went the story that we tried to tell
