Hospitals Are Eerily Similar To Jails?

I heard the door squeak open and I realized that through all of Kuro and Lamia's explanation I hadn't felt any sort of discomfort, just like before...

However I am in a hospital bed, so obviously I am hurt? Before I could see who opened the door, probably a nurse Lamia chipped in 'OH! We healed you, we wouldn't treat our host so badly!' she responded, happily as ever. Kuro hummed in agreement and I relaxed.

It was a doctor after all, he had short black hair and brown eyes, a strange-looking combination "Hello, Miss Yuki, it is great to see you awake! Are you feeling well?" the man asked with the smile that all doctors must have surgically implanted on their face. I looked at him "yea, I'm feeling ok, could you explain why I'm here and where my mom is?" I asked quietly, my voice rasped slightly. The doctor dusted imaginary dust off of his white coat and gave me a closed-eye smile "of course. Your mother was lucky and only got a few bruises and a broken arm, you however don't seem to be injured, but you had passed out. Are you thirsty by chance?" he asked, at the end of the statement his face showed clear concern, enough that I became slightly worried "why?" I asked nervously, "oh, well you seem pale, so I was wondering..." he trailed off as his eyes scanned my face. I felt panic rising, this entire situation was a little too much 'oh... Hehe, I forgot to mention, you are dehydrated... After all I do specialize in fire magic...' Lamia guiltily mentioned with a meek raise of her hand. Kuro looked confusedly at her, she obviously hadn't noticed. I panicked again "actually I am feeling quite dizzy..." I lied, I felt fine but I remembered that was an after effect of dehydration, maybe I hadn't noticed because I hadn't moved yet? Lamia nodded at my thought, I realized that this could be serious.

The doctor's face scrunched up "ok, let me check here," he did this strange thing where he pinched the skin of my arms, not harshly but enough to make the skin stand up, I looked at him for an explanation "ah, if you are dehydrated then your skin won't go back down." he explained carefully to make sure I understood, I nodded slowly.

The skin did not go down.

The doctor started looking for something in the cabinets outside of my room "hmm, it seems I did not introduce myself, I'm sorry for being so rude. My name is Mr. Williams, I am going to fetch you an IV, I'll be back shortly." the doctor - Mr. Williams - explained and then rushed off down the hallway. Returning shortly with a container.

A nurse followed him into the room right after, her dark-brown hair in a stylish yet messy bun on the back of her head, she smiled briefly at me, her smile was much prettier and kinder than Mr. William's. 'I like her.' Lamia explained with a smile, I almost forgot about them.

 I felt Mr. Williams inject the IV into my skin, Lamia started panicking while Kuro cringed slightly 'here it comes...' I blinked in a confused manner, Kuro looked at me 'this is her dark side, It happens when she's really angry... And did I mention she hates needles?' Kuro gave me a sheepish look and slid further away from Lamia. Traitor I thought bitterly, pouting slightly. The two adults in the room gave me a strange look and I blushed, whoops.

'How. Dare. They. Stick. A. Needle. In. My. Arm.' Lamia threatened, slowly with a polite smile - which now was more terrifying then comforting - painted on her face. She clenched her fists and  I felt a strange sensation like I was being pulled underwater.

I blinked and all of a sudden I was looking at the viewing-mist 'what?' I thought, I saw Kuro, she was...

Standing right next to me.

I squeaked in surprise and realized I couldn't find Lamia, all of a sudden it clicked;

Lamia had fully taken over my body,

The doctor was screwed...
