Gotham City

Dick tossed and turned as he was plagued with nightmares. The young six year old sat up slowly as he shook off the familiar feeling of fear. Dick sighed as he exited his bedroom to get a drink.

What he didn't expect was for his best friend, Percy to appear in front of him. Dick nearly dropped the glass as he took in the sight of Percy.

Said demigod was smirking at him lazily while leaning against the counter. After a small silence, Percy broke it with a question.

"Having nightmares again?"

Dick looked down in embarrassment. Percy was pretty perceptive for a fourteen year old. He nodded as Percy sighed heavily.

"Come here Dickie,"

Percy motioned for the younger to come forward. Dick hesitated before letting Percy pick him up and place him on his hip.

Dick laid his head on Percy's shoulder as the older vanished in a swirl of black mist. This was normal for them both since they were connected and could go to the other whenever.

Percy appeared in cabin 3 and walked over to his bunk. He smiled softly as he saw Dick's eyes slowly close.

Neither had nightmares that night.

Olympus

The Throne Room

Percy nervously walked forward as his name was called. He was still shaken up about watching Luke die just an hour ago, and was kind of distracted.

Mostly because Dick was trying to talk to him through their mind link. Percy ignored him as best as he could while his eyes wandered around the room.

"-a god."

Zues said, bringing Percy out of his silent argument with Dick. He blushed lightly as he realized that he hadn't heard a single word that he deity said.

A small timid voice broke through the silence that'd crept into the room. But it was what made Percy freeze on the spot.

"P-Percy?"

Dick asked from behind the demigod. Percy slowly turned around to see the small eight year old looking around the room in fear and awe.

When Dick saw that Percy had noticed him, he ran toward the demigod and out his arms up. Percy slowly picked up the child, and turned to face the now very surprised gods.

"And who might this be Perseus?"

Artemis (surprisingly) spoke up, making Percy turn toward her. Just as he was about to speak was interrupted by Dick.

"I'm Richard, but I like to be called Dick."

The small child answered softly to her. Aphrodite cooed at him from her throne while Zeus was fuming in anger.

"What is the meaning of this? Have you brought a mortal to Olympus?! How dare you betray the gods!"

Uh oh.
