Kai and Jacoby:

"You're kidding!" Jacoby chuckles, trying to hide the fact that he's blushing hard. 

Kai leans in for a kiss on the cheek, paralyzing Jacoby head to toe until Kai's lips have parted. "Am I kidding now?"

In Jacoby's mind, the kiss lasted for minutes. "You... you're?" Overwhelmingly confused, Jacoby has a hard time finishing his sentence.

"Now, back to what I'm actually here for. Are you going to come?"

"Yes!" Jacoby tells Kai, "I'll go. For you."

Cody:

The heat in the room began to take its toll on Cody, who was sweating buckets and dying of thirst. The plate of food, which was way less the closer Cody got to it, was nothing more than a piece of bread and three apple slices. Cody was at the point where he couldn't scream for help, and thoughts raced through his mind if he was going to die or not.

Then, while sitting next to the door Cody could hear two people. One male and one female. They were talking outside of the room, but Cody couldn't make out what they were saying.

"You've taken this too far," the man's voice said, "Give him more food."

"It's punishment," the woman fired back to the man, "He deserves this."

Cody then heard sets of footsteps walking away. Punishment? What punishment? It didn't take long for Cody to drift off to sleep. He didn't want the next day to come so quickly.
