Love is the flower be-speckled with dew in the thin light of dawn, it is the volunteer at the soup kitchen who missed their own Christmas meal, it is a lioness hunting on the plains. It is majesty and self-sacrifice; it is the wonders of the natural world and our spiritual wholeness. I can never see love as something bought in a store, coiffured hair, pouting lips and come-get-me eyes. It can't be had by starving yourself or working extra shifts to purchase designer goods. Love is free, we just must embrace it, protect it, and value it. But first we must know what it is.

Author-nim's POV

When we commercialize our love, especially with expensive gifts, we render it cheap. Love cannot be bought nor sold. And so, to find the Christmas spirit, to find pure love, we must give what is within, because to be happy with what is free is freedom. The Christmas spirit is the embodiment of this unselfish love, free of monetary concerns, yet it should be the spirit of every day, normalizing love.

How long does it take to fall in love?

A second? A hour? A month? A year?

It's like asking someone how long it takes to fall asleep. Some people are gone as soon as their heads hit the pillow. Others lie awake for hours and it's only when their brain stops churning for a while that sleep sneaks in and drags them under. That's what love is like. It doesn't knock on your door and introduces itself; it invades the heart giving you emotions you never asked for, but deep down you yearned for.

These seven boys didn't knock on Y/N's door out of mere coincidence. Maybe it's her Christmas wish coming true before her eyes like "knights in shining armor" perhaps because in the night we need "amour" or "love" to shine for us. Or perhaps it is that only love can find its way through the armor we all wear and polish, hiding the self that is so vulnerable and soft.

Perhaps Y/N is going to get what she wished for while looking upon that white sky. Who would of thought that the campion, comforter, best friend, love of her life soulmate that she yearns for would come in a package of seven?

Love is blooming in Jolly Town.

Hoseok's POV

"Did I do something wrong?" Y/N asked watching Jungkook dragging Taehyung and Jimin away.

"You did nothing wrong those three just tend to stick together like glue." I glanced at the remainder of us sat at the table shaking my head at the hormonal trio. I'm not stupid, I know exactly what Taehyung and Jungkook were doing at the end of the table, but I will let them live this time.

"What is there to do here?" Yoongi asked.

She thought for a moment before responding "This is a place for relaxation people of the town mostly like to watch the sunset on Heavens Peak or star gaze on Lovers Hill. There is also the northern lake where we ice skate and the spring lake that's not too far from my house, it's like an earth made hot tube it never gets cold. But if you want to go to the beach or do more active things, we can check out the neighboring towns."

Wow this place sounds like paradise "We should get started now with shoveling, I really want to go out into town."

We spent the entire morning shoveling the driveway. Even though it was exhausting it was still fun. It took longer than it should have because we occasionally broke out into snowball fights. I sat next to the fireplace rubbing my hands together "I'm exhausted."

Y/N sat on the sofa massaging her right shoulder "I thought you guys would be exhausted afterwards I had already planned to save the touring of the town for tomorrow. For now, let's go get your cars."

She was about to stand up, but I pushed here back down on the sofa. She looked at me confused "You look stiff let me help you relax."

"You don't hav-"

I placed my finger over her lips "Shh just enjoy it."

She leaned back into the couch giving in "Mmm that feels good."

Her moans are so sexy "Careful don't forget I am a man and those erotic sounds your letting slip through those beautiful lips gives me the urge to devour you on this sofa in front of everyone." Everyone including Y/N looked at me with wide eyes surprised by my boldness.

She blushed "Umm w-we s-should probably go before it gets late, yeah? Yeah, let's go." She said quickly walking away leaving us in the living room.

Yoongi patted my shoulder "Hoseok I didn't know a horse could have game." He said walking away from me.

I heard the other laughing behind me. The nerve of this guy "Why must you provoke me? Huh, meow kitty?"

He stopped laughing and glared at me "You want to die?"

I blew him a kiss "Love you too."

"And I love that ass." he smacked it as I walked by.

"Aye. Hands off the merchandise." he gave me the cutest gummy smile and without work he gave me a quick peck on the lips before walking away. I shook my head "This guy is something serious."

Time Skip

Y/N handed each of us a cup of hot chocolate and a plate of warm chocolate chip cookies "How long will you guys be staying here?"

"We are not sure yet." I took a bite of one of the cookies "Mmm these are delicious."

She smiled "Thanks, I made them from scratch. Maybe you guys could stay for the Town's Christmas party that's in a few days."

I looked at her amazed "Really, you are one amazing woman, and a Christmas party sounds delightful."

She flipped "You're telling me something I already know, now stop flattering me and go get cleaned up, all of you."

"Yes ma'am." I said giving her salute while watching as she walked up the stairs not sparing us a glance.

When she was out of sight, I look at the others "Can we meet in my room I need to tell you all something?"

They looked at me confused but nevertheless complied "What do you need to tell us Hoseok?" Jin asked confused but curious.

"Okay I will just come straight out and say it... I like Y/N."

"WHAT? ME TOO." they yelled.

"WHAT?"

There was a knock on the door "Hoseok I heard yelling are you okay?"

I looked to the others for help, but nothing so I went with the only thing I could think of "Yes, yes I'm okay I just stubbed my toe."

Yoongi looked at me in disbelief and whispered, "Really I stubbed my toe?"

"I panicked that was the only thing that came to mind, you know I can't think under pressure." I whispered back.

"Oh... okay... be careful next time I guess."

We stood there a listen to her footsteps fading away "So, we all like Y/N, great?"

"I mean it was pretty obvious, especially with you and Jungkook." Namjoon concluded.

"What are we going to do?" Jimin asked.

Jin who has been silently thinking took the floor "We are going to handle this maturely. She said there will be a Christmas party in a few days, right. I say we use it to our advantage for the next few days starting from oldest to youngest we are all going to spend one-on-one time with Y/N and confess to her."

Yoongi shrugged his shoulders "We all get our on time with no interference I don't see the harm in that. It's fine with me."

"I'm okay with that." I said agreeing with Yoongi.

Namjoon also agreed "I'm down."

Jimin through his arm around Yoongi's shoulders "Yeah, me too." Yoongi shoved him nearly making him fall.

Taehyung chuckled "I don't see a problem with that."

Jungkook pulled out his phone already looking for some ideas "Since I will be going last it will give me enough time to think of what I want to do for my noona."

"But before we do this, I want us to make a promise that no matter what happens or who she chooses, it will not come between our friendship understood." We all shook our heads in agreement.

"Who knows she might end up liking all of us. I wouldn't mind having seven partners." Taehyung said in a flirty tone.

"I do have a lot of pent up energy ready to be release. Besides I always wonder what sex with Yoongi hyung would be like." Jungkook confessed.

Yoongi rolled his eyes "Well keep wondering energizer bunny, because not everyone gets the privilege to taste this sweetness."

Namjoon smirked "Taehyung and Jungkook might be on to something. You know they say sharing is caring."
