This sucks

That was my first thought when I came in the dining room. There in the middle was a giant table with tons of fancy foods and around the table where chairs that made me feel like a midget. I'm all ready short as it is, the chairs make me feel even smaller. On the chairs were my cousins, three overactive boys and three over perfect girls and then there's me. Yep, I'm the elephant in the room right now

Why? Because all my cousins are wearing royal clothes and all I'm wearing is a sweater and some jeans. The boys were wearing one of those prince charming clothes and the girls were wearing beautiful dresses and each one is color coordinated to there mothers

This is how it goes:

The Siblings of Nature, Mike and Jules - Green
The Siblings of Harmony, Rick and Snow - Red
The Siblings of Beauty, Chad and Kat - Blue
And The Child of Life, Me - Purple

And another reason why I'm out of place is because I'm wearing a grey sweater. Yup, that's life for ya

I sat down, grabbed some food that I could actually eat and dig in. In about 4 minutes I was done and they were still eating. I got up and headed to my room but then my mom came...

"Where do you think you're going Ella?" My mom, Lady Angelica, asked

"Uh, my room?" I said

"Good, because I need you to change " She said and then the boom dropped "We're going to a meeting at a kingdom and we need everyone to come"

Okay, we can handle this

"Travis, get the dress please" She ordered Parker

"Yes M'lady" He bowed and left but not before smirking at me

"Mom, please tell me the dress is for Pa-Travis and not me" I hoped

Pleas down say it, please don't say it, please don't-

"Of course..." I smiled "...not" and that's when I got on my knees, put my fist in the air and yelled "NOOOOOOOO!!!!" To the sky

"Angelina Jaylin! Your almost ten, you have to get use to these things " My mom said "Now please stop complaining, go to your and change"

I wanted to refuse and give a come back but thought again. I headed to my room to fine Parker leaning against my bed waiting for me. When he saw me he smiled and walked up to me

"Get out" I said and pointed to the door

"Can't I say? I am your mother's favorite after all, I bet she won't mind if-" I didn't let him finish his sentence.

I grabbed his collar, lifted him over my head and chucked him out of my room... And out the window. Most people would just go for a slap or push them out the door but me? I chuck them out the window. I looked out the window to find him on the ground, back facing up

"Good talk!" He managed to say before standing up, dusting himself off and flying back in the castle

I rolled my eyes and looked at the dress on my bed and it's not as bad as I thought it would be. The dress had long sleeves and was above the shoulders, it was purple on top with dark violet designs. It was beautiful but not... Me. I sighed and put the dress on, and let me tel you something, it sucks. It may look soft but it's uncomfortable as heck and it's very constricting and I could barely breathe. I was about to look at the mirror when I tripped on something.

I stood up and looked at what I tripped on and my eyes widened at the site..... Shoes, not just any shoes, shoes with heels. They were like sandals but with heels. There were gold and white with angel wings at the back for design

Oh no....

"Mom!" I called in panic

"Yes Ella? What's wrong ?" She said worried and came in my room

"What are those!?" I said, pointing at the shoes (I know that meme and this is just an a excuse to use it!)

"Ella..." She sighed and sat me down on the bed "You have to wear them, there the only shoes that match the dress" she said sweetly "Now please do this for mommy "

Dang it! She gets me every time!

I sighed "Okay...." I took the shoes and put them on. As I stood up I almost tripped on the floor again. My mom led me to my mirror and fixed my always-messy hair. She braided my hair and put on my tiara which I hate. The last thing she did was put on my necklace which was a purple gem.

"You look beautiful Ella" She said proudly

I don't look like me

I said nothing and just nodded. We went down to the front of the castle where everyone else was, they were all dressed up. We hoped in our carriages, each one was colored according to who we are, Mike and Jules were green, Rick and Snow were red, Chad and Kat were blue and mine was purple.

I was about to open the carriage door when someone bear me too it. I looked at who it was and groaned and frustration

"Angel, ladies don't make that noise" My mom scolded and stepped in the carriage

Well I guess that means I'm not a lady

"See you soon Angel" Travis said

"You know, the only good thing about this trip is that I finally get to be away from you" I said before climbing in the carriage and closing the door

"Now Ella, I want you to behave, understand?" My mom said

"Yeah yeah I get it! I'm have to act like who I am, I understand" I said

"Good"

It was a long trip but we were here. I walked out the carriage and looked at the castle in front of me. It was bright yellow maybe even gold with a symbol of a sun on the front. Guards with sky blue armor surrounded the castle, each one standing strong.

We walked towards the giant gates and they opened to show a garden, the flowers were blooming and it looked like spring. By the doors of the castle stood the king, the queen, the prince and the two princesses. The king and the princesses had light blue hair and orange like eyes while the queen and the prince had golden like hair and sky like eyes. And that's when it hit me...

We're in the Sun Kingdom

Oh crud...

"Ahh, The Ladies of The Overworld! It's so delightful to see you!" The Queen greeted

"It's wonderful to see you too Sunny!" Lady Grace said

The grown ups went inside the castle and left us kids alone in the garden. I looked at the princesses and found out they were actually twins, they looked exactly the same, the only difference was that one of them had a sun headband and the other had a cloud headband. They instantly started talking to my girl cousins and the guys were exploring the garden, which leaves me with non other then the prince

Great.... (Sarcasm)

"It's nice to meet you" He greeted with a bow. He looked about ten maybe eleven years old

"Hey" I said with no enthusiasm what so ever "Nice garden ya got here" I commented while looking around

"Um... So what's your name?" He asked nicely

"Angel but you can call me Jay" I said "And yours?" I asked, trying not to be rude

I honestly don't care about his name....

"My name's Anthony Sunset" He said "So Angel, how was your trip?" He asked, trying to make small talk

This is gonna be a long day....

And I already hate it....
