3 weeks later...

Today I was going back home. I had already been at Steve and Natasha's apartment for 3 weeks and honestly I missed my kids and Peter. But I knew that as soon as I walked through the front door the fighting and arguing will start all over again.

I packed up my things and went home. I walked through the front door and went straight to mine and Peter's room. Thankfully the kids were all school so they wouldn't hear us fight. 

I walked through the bedroom door and Peter was sitting on our bed reading a book. I closed the door and his eyes met mine. He got up and walked over to me. Oh god... here it comes...

"How was Natasha and Steve's place?" He asked calmly.

Uhh what? I thought for sure the arguing was going to immediately start as soon as he saw me.

"Uhh it was fine. How was the house?" I replied nervously.

"Fine... We need to talk..." 

Uh oh...

"Okay..."

We walked over to the bed and sat on the edge, facing each other.

"The girl you saw me at the Cafe with was my ex girlfriend, Liz." He finally said.

"Oh..." I replied. "What did she want?" 

"She told me that she has a 5 year old daughter."

"Why would she tell you that?"

"Well umm... 5 years ago I got really drunk and... we hooked up. She got the kid's DNA tested and I'm the father."

My heart sunk. I couldn't believe what he was telling me. 

"Y-you cheated on me?"

"I was drunk. I wasn't thinking and you were on the business trip for Stark Industries."

"You cheated while I was in another country for a month?" I asked, tears threatening to fall. "How many times did you hook up with her?"

"Y/n-"

"How many times Peter?"

"About 10. I was only drunk for the first one...."

"You cheated on mom?" 

I looked over to the doorway and saw Harper standing there with tears in her eyes.

"Harper..." Peter started but was cut off by her voice.

"You are an awful husband. 10 times? And for 9 you were sober and just hooked up with some random woman?"

"Harper it's not like that." Peter tried explaining the situation but it only made things worse.

"You might as well go live with your new family considering you love them so much! Hey maybe now you'll finally be happy. Also when you and mom get the divorce I'm staying with mom. You can have your little girlfriend and oh let's not forget. My replacement. You might as well replace Austin too while you're at it!" She yelled while crying.

She ran to her room and slammed the door. Peter looked at me. I was crying but I wiped my tears as he spoke.

"Do you want a divorce?" He asked. He sounded worried.

"I can't be with someone who cheated on me... I'm going to go to my lawyer and get the papers." I replied.

I got up from the bed and left the house. I got into my car and drove to my lawyer's office. We talked for a while then she printed the divorce papers and I went home.

I walked inside and saw Peter sitting on our couch. I walked over and sat in a chair across from him and I set the divorce papers on the coffee table. I grabbed a pen and handed it to him.

"Y/n.. I don't want a divorce. Can't we talk about this?" He asked.

"If you didn't want a divorce you shouldn't have cheated on me 10 times. Now sign the papers." I replied coldly.

He hesitantly signed the papers then handed me then pen and I signed them.

"What about the kids?" He asked.

"I told the lawyer that we were going to let the kids choose who they wanted to live with and she said that was fine. I'm guessing Austin will want to stay with you and Harper made it clear she wanted to stay with me after she found out her father cheated on her mother. 10 times."

"Okay... What about the house?"

"You can have it Peter. I've already got an apartment closer to Stark Industries picked out for me and Harper."

I grabbed the papers and stood up from my seat.

"I'm taking these to the lawyer. As soon as I turn them in it's getting processed and then we won't be married anymore."

I walked to Harper's room and walked in.

"Pack your stuff. We are moving." I said.

"Okay mom." She replied.

I left her room then walked out of the house and to my car. I drove to the lawyer's office and I turned in the divorce papers.

"Wow. I've never had divorce papers turned in on the same day before." She said.

"Well when you get cheated on 10 times and you didn't find out until 5 years later and your husband has another family... you're eager to get divorced." I replied.

We talked for a while about legal things then I went back to the house. Harper put her stuff in my car and we drove to the new apartment.

This is a good thing... I just have to convince myself first.
