After the kiss, we waited for a few more seconds... seconds then turned into minutes. I got more nervous, still roaming my eyes at my wife's lifeless face. My hands uncontrolably trembled and my knees suddenly felt weak.

Silence engulfed the room.

"....S-Sakura.."

I stepped closer, until I layed beside her on the bed. My arms were draped around her fragile body, cradling her as if my life depended on it---well, my life does depends on her..

I let the tears fall freely.

There, see? You're the king, and I'm your queen....

I'm a mess of unfinished thoughts. A ghost of memories.. Every piece of our past haunted me all at once. I heard Ino and the others sob, making my chest fall deeper into the pits of my stomach. My mind didn't want to process what the fuck's happening.

I don't want to accept it. Sakura..

"..S..Sa..."

My eyes shot wide open. Immediately, I stared at the pinkette in my arms and almost cried again when I saw her opening her forest green eyes. My heart tripled it's beat and it seriously wanted to jump out of my chest this very moment.

"S-Sakura!"

She weakly smiled at me and tried to move her hands. Her lips turned into a kissable pink color, no longer pale and lifeless. She blinked, letting her eyes adjust to the light.

"W-What.. happened..? Hey.. why are you crying, Sasuke?"

I smiled back and wiped my remaining tears with the back of my hand. Hesitantly, I caressed her cheek and planted a soft kiss on her large forehead. I hugged her.

"It doesn't matter, honey.. I.. I'm glad you came back to me.."

Karin rushed to my side and handed me a glass of water. "I need to check if her vital signs are normal, Sasuke." She informed me, nursing my wife. I let a small grunt escape my lips. I was about to object when Suigetsu pulled me away from the scene and patted my back..

"Hey, you need to loosen up, bossy! You should let Karin check on her first.."

"But----"

"Sasuke-sama, I believe the queen isn't going anywhere." it was Juugo who said that, motioning me towards the door. On the way out, I passed by Ino and Shikamaru who were busy attending Sakura's needs. Tobi-sama waved at me before suddenly disappearing in a cloud of smoke, muttering the words,

"Tobi told you Tobi is a good boy."

A ghostly smiled crossed my lips as I walked silently out of the room. I stopped by a large window and opened it, cool night breeze sweeping in. I inhaled and closed my eyes. Thank Kami.. I let my mind do a mental replay of all the events I experienced eversince me and Sakura were married.

Time just flies so fast..

And as I opened my eyes, I saw blue glowing dust floating in midair. I can hear Tobi-sama's laughter as the little lights danced above the surface. I shook my head in amusement.

"Hey, aren't you going to look after the little princess, boss?"

It was Suigetsu, standing right next to me with a worried expression on his aged face. I smirked and gazed off into a distance.

"Nah. She's safe."

Meanwhile...

Ryoku Uzumaki entered the village gates, with Daisy in his hands. The war's over. He proudly thought. The little Uchiha heiress rubbed her eyes and pointed something.

"Ryoku-kun, look!" She called, while observing the glowing dust balls moving in all directions. It twinkled, just like the stars. Ryoku and Daisy stared at the magical lights, amazed.

"They're awesome, dattebayo.." the young boy whispered, unconsciously darting his eyes back at the girl.

Daisy-chan..

He blushed.

Daisy noticed him stiffened, so she turned to ask him, "What's the matter?"

Quickly, he shook his head and inclined to the direction of the little squirrel resting on his left shoulder.

"N-Nothing! Come on, we gotta get you to the palace, Princess!"

Princess Daisy Uchiha smirked before bursting into fits of laughter. Oh, Ryoku-kun... I'm not that numb, you dummy. She playfully thought but chose to keep her mouth shut. Daisy didn't want to ruin the atmosphere.

No, not with him.

Not with the boy who saved her.

Unknowingly, the words slipped out of her mouth...

"There, see? You're the prince... and I'm your princess..."
