Regina Mills- The Wolf (c)

It was the dreaded night once more. The full moon was the worst night of the month, the one night that you feared and hated more than anything in the world. Your heart beat painfully against your chest as you waited for the moon to reach its apex, leading the pain and torture you would have to endure as you did every full moon.

You had prepared for it as much as you could, but the pain was inevitable as was the whole ordeal. For the haunting moment to come, you waited on the floor, stripped down to necessities, your body stretched out as much as you could to try not to fight it- fighting it just made it worse.

Looking up to the sky, you saw the moon reach its point, it was time for the hell to occur. You had created a base for you to turn in, one that would hopefully stop you from hurting anyone else. It was bad enough hurting yourself, but you wouldn't be able to live if you knew you had hurt someone else.

Your bones began to break, contorting you into the wolf you would spend the rest of the night in. An almighty scream escaped you as the pain surged through you. Your eyes were slammed shut as you contorted on the floor.

It all stopped. The pain stopped. The changing stopped, moving you back into the human form you were meant to be in.

Taking a weak breath, you could feel a piece of fabric thrown over you, a piece of fabric you hadn't had in the room with you before. Moving it from your face, your saw the brunette woman whom your heart held fondly.

You had been in a relationship with Regina for a while now, but you hadn't told her what you were, you never wanted her to look so lowly on you as you looked down on yourself.

"Regina?" You croaked.

"Y/N," she smiled softly. "Are you okay?"

"What is this?" You questioned looking at the cloth not wanting to more it, in fear that you'd go back to becoming a wolf.

"Ruby has a cloak, that helps her stop transforming, so I borrowed it and made one of my own for you. I know why you didn't tell me, but I want to help you, if you let me that is," she smiled softly.

You pulled the cloak around you so that it was on properly, rather impressed with the craftsmanship and how amazing it worked for you.

"I'm sorry," you whispered.

Regina knelt down next to you, taking on of your hands, kissing it softly.

"You have no reason to be sorry."
