Alive. I am alive.

That's the first thing I thought of when I jolted up from the slumber I was in.

But how?

I'm certain that I sank like the titanic. There's no one except Ji Eun and her men there when I died.

Did I die? Am I a soul now?

I touched my chest but my heart is there. It's beating in a stable way as if I'm asleep.

Then how the heck did I come out alive in the middle of the Pacific? There must be somethin-

The world suddenly move infront of me and I almost fell off of the bed I was in.

What just happened?

The floor is not stable like it's moving. Rowing is the right word, right?

Scanning my surroundings, I figured that I was in a large room inside a large ship. I assume that this ship is made of fine wood. Some strange things are hanged here and there. I don't know what they are because of the lack of luminance but I could see shadows of things with the help of the small lamp resting in a table near me.

Maybe someone really did find me before I drown completely. I need to thank him or her for saving me.

I was about to get up and walk out of where I was confined but something stopped me from doing so. I was chained to the bed by my right ankle making me frown in confusion.

Why would my savior restrain me?

The door to where I was opened and a silhouette of a tall bulky man appeared before me. I couldn't define what he looks like because of the darkness but I saw a huge skull earring hanging in his right ear. My eyes widened in realization.

Pirates.

I'm in a ship with pirates.

"Captain! The new whore is awake!" The man in the door yelled making me flinch.

"The captain ordered to bring her out!" Another voice yelled and the man in the door started advancing on me.

"W-who are you?" I stuttered out and I mentally facepalmed.

The man moved much closer towards me bringing his face near mine making me almost pass out.

Dear Heavens-

I tried moving away because I can't stand his bad breath. It's like he never once tried brushing his teeth that it smells like dead rats and rotten eggs.

"I'm Eric and it's really nice to have another whore in this ship. It's been a terrible week since I got myself satisfied and I'm sure that after the captain had his fill, he'll let us have our turns with you." The man said as if he didn't just talk of something disturbing.

I shivered in disgust and prepared myself to escape. Once he detached the chain off of my ankle, I knocked him down and ran as fast as I could out of the room I was in. I won't let myself be used and abused like that. I won't let anyone touch me unless I allow them to do so.

When I got out, I noticed that there are many men waiting outside of that room and they got shocked when I'm the only one who emerged from the shadows.

"What are you doing? Restrain her!" Someone roared and all of the men that was once stunned on their places began running towards my direction.

My eyes widened and I run towards a direction, my feet carrying me away from the disgusting, bulky pirates chasing me. I run until I reached the other end of the ship.

A dead end.

"Come on now, little girl, there's no way out. Just accept your fate already." One bald pirate laughed making his companions laugh as well.

"There are a hundred of us here and we're sure that you'll be extremely pleasured unless you die in the process." Another one snickered.

I turned around and saw them closing on me. If I took one more step backwards, I'll fall in the waters again.

Is this really my fate? To get raped and used by disgusting pirates in the middle of the ocean?

I closed my eyes waiting for one of them to grab me but it never came considering how close they were in my position. Instead, a loud cry echoed throughout the whole place.

I opened my eyes and screamed when I was suddenly swept off of my feet. Someone just tossed me in their shoulder and started running away from all the pirates. He dodged every man that draw out their swords to stop him and he brought us to the other edge of the ship.

"That whore belongs to us. Give her to us and we'll let you leave peacefully, thief." One of the pirates threatened but the man holding me seemed to not care of what he is saying.

"Give me 50 gold coins and I shall return your toy." The man holding me spoke in a deep voice.

"Why would we give you 50 gold coins when-" The man holding me cut him off.

"That's not even a fair price for this good dish." He spoke then grab my bum making me yelp and struggle from his hold. "She will make a good whore and I shall have her to myself if you don't give me 50 gold coins."

The pirates groaned and I assumed that they granted this man's wishes.

The man holding me chuckled and I heard the noise of coins being tossed.

"Put the whore down now. As you promised." One of the pirates stated, clearly annoyed.

The man holding me suddenly laughed. "No promises." He said then jump off of the ship making me close my eyes and scream once again.

Is he nuts? We're both going to die because of him!

To my surprise, the fall wasn't that long and we landed in a stable surface. We didn't fell into the water.

"Hey there, lassie. Your screams could ruin ears you know." The man holding me chuckled.

He released me from his hold and started rowing the boat away of the large ship we jumped out off. I was still shaken and even with my eyes opened widely, everything seemed to be a blur.

Blinking a few times to make my vision clear, I stared at the back of the man who saved me from being a whore used by a hundred pirates. He's rowing away peacefully like I'm not with him to begin with. Questions after questions swirled inside my head but I ignored them all and settled with thanking the man before me.

"Thank you." I breathed out flinching at the hoarse sound my voice delivered.

"Don't thank me. I'm not a good person. Who knows if I suddenly push you off of my boat huh?" The man said making me gulp.

"You wouldn't do that." I spoke making the man glance in my direction.

"Why not?"

"Because you wouldn't go to the extent of saving me if you're just going to drop me in the ocean right now." I said like I am very sure of what I am saying.

He chuckled again.

"Clever of you, lassie." He said facing me a smirk resting on his handsome face.

Despite the bruises and the old scar across one of his eyes, I could tell that he is indeed good looking. In fact, he's the only one that looks quite decent in my eyes since I woke up from my slumber.

"Don't stare at me like that, lassie. It's not good." He stated but I couldn't care less.

"Y/N." I muttered.

"What?" He asked.

"Y/N. My name is Y/N." I said looking straight at his jet black eyes.

"I prefer to call you lassie." He said and turned away from me, continuing to row the boat. "We'll be stuck in the ocean for a long time. I hope you don't get seasick." He stated but I have a question I wanted to be answered right now.

"Who are you and why did you save me?" I asked curiosity getting the best of me.

He chuckled once again. Ugh. What's with the chuckling? "I didn't save you. I just think you'll be more useful to me than to those idiots."

I nodded in understanding. Atleast he didn't think of forcing himself unto me.

"I'm quite famous in my homeland. Some call me thief, some call me genius, and others call me by whatever they think of me." He narrated.

I frowned. I can't call him by those things. "What should I call you then?"

He once again stopped rowing and turned to face me. His eyes having a strange glint in them and his mouth smirking at me.

"What about Captain Min? It will be a pleasure for me if you would call me that, lassie."

Hi guys! I finally updated! I'm sorry for keeping you waiting and for the filler of a chapter >__< school is very stressing and I don't have much time for writing so I'm really sorry! I hope you like the story so far even though it's kinda boring
