"What are we doing?" 

"Hiding." 

I raised a brow at that. Frowning, I gazed at the busy marketplace we're in. We've been here for almost half an hour after arriving in the Pangaea and Yoongi became very sensitive, eyes scanning every corner like his life depended on it.

Or it really depends on it?

"Why are we hiding then?" I asked and he glared at me putting his pointer finger on his lips to indicate silence.

"Shut up and trust me on this." He whispered before taking a hold of one of my wrist then moving stealthily from our hiding place.

I struggled, following his swift movements and bumped on his back from time to time. After a few moments, I got irritated by the continuous bumping here and there so I decided to open my pretty big mouth.

My mother once told me that regrets always come at the end. It only comes when the damage is done.

And that's why I regret ever opening my precious mouth.

The moment I opened my mouth and called my companion's name, everyone around us stopped dead on their tracks. Their heads automatically turned in our direction and I heard my companion curse under his breath before running as fast as he could, dragging me along with him.

"H-hey! S-slow down!" I yelled when I almost trip on my feet.

"We don't have time lassie! If they get to us, they'll behead us right then and there!" Yoongi panted infront of me.

"Why?!" I asked from behind him, trying to keep up with his pace.

He didn't answer and stopped running instead. He held my wrist firmer and took a defensive stance.

"Well, well, well, who do we have here?" Someone chuckled infront of us.

Looking up, my eyes widened to the size of saucers when I saw another Yoongi infront of me. He is like the exact replica of the man before me but his hair is a light shade of blonde and the scar on his right eye looks fresh and new not like the Yoongi I met in Tethys who's scar looks like its been there for a long time.

The 'other' Yoongi's eyes shifted to me then he smirked. "Looks like you found a toy to play with, my slave." He then scanned my appearance then licked his dry lips. "A tasty meal to be exact."

"She's off limits. Trust me, you wouldn't want to deal with her mentality." Yoongi warned infront of me.

The 'other' Yoongi's smirk grew wider. "I would probably enjoy her company then."

"And I would most probably end you before you even get the chance to touch a strand of her hair." Yoongi spoke through gritted teeth.

The 'other' Yoongi laughed dramatically, taking a hold of his stomach to intensify his act. "How'd you do that? I've got an army and you have nothing but a clueless pet standing behind you."

This little prick I swear—

"Lassie do you enjoy horseback riding?" Yoongi asked out of the blue.

"What?" I grimaced but not even a minute after, I was already off of the ground.

"Yoongi!" I screamed on top of my lungs when I almost fell from his back. He held me tight but that didn't make up for the heart attack he gave me when he suddenly carried me like a sack of potatoes, sending my body bouncing all over because of the fast pace he was running. Moreover, all the blood in my body is going straight to my head making me dizzy.

"You can't get away from us, Min Yoongi! We'll be sure to deliver the news of your death." Someone shouted from behind us followed by a series of laughter coming from all of our chasers.

We entered a forest and halfway through it, Yoongi stopped running and brought me back on my feet. He's panting and but he still managed to release a chuckle.

"You should probably lost weight lassie. My arms hurt from carrying you. I think you weight more than me actually." He teased, a grin forming on his exhausted features.

I ignored his remarks choosing to bite back an insulting reply so I could focus on our surroundings.

We're in a dark spot of the forest where the tall trees covered the sunlight from reaching us and the other plants served us a good hiding spot. It shielded our view from the somehow cleared pathway of the forest, making us unnoticed even if a passerby comes here.

"Are we safe?" I asked locking eyes with Yoongi.

"You'll be, lassie." Yoongi smiled but it didn't reach his eyes.

"Thank you." I said hugging Yoongi.

I quickly pulled away and turned my back to him so I wouldn't be able to see his reaction on my childish acts. I know that I certainly look like an idiot right now but I can't help it. I am thankful that Yoongi helped me out and kept me company even on such short amount of time.

"Lassie, look at me." Yoongi pleaded behind me.

My cheeks burned, producing a dark shade of pink. I can't look at Yoongi right now. I know that I'd embarrass myself even further if my eyes locked with his.

He will surely make fun of me. I am certained.

"If you won't look my way then fine but I assure that you'll regret it." Yoongi muttered bitterly under his breath.

"Min Yoongi!" Someone roared, a few meters away from us.

My eyes widened and I instantly turned around only to see Yoongi so close to me. Our faces centimeters away from each other.

"Listen, lassie." He spoke slowly, fanning my face with his warm breath. "You need to run away from here. This forest isn't really a safe place. Witches lurk around here and it'll be unfortunate if you bumped into one. Don't trust women that is going around here. Don't also trust men. Don't trust anyone but it'll be safer if you'd trust men. Women in the forest could be witches so don't even consider getting near them." He reminded.

I frowned, searching his onyx eyes for answers. "What? Why are you telling me this?"

"I'm telling you this because it's your way out of the forest. If you won't listen to me then things won't end up well for you." Yoongi replied instantly.

I still can't comprehend the things he's telling me when I heard someone shout again. This time, it's nearer and I could see a silhouette of a person walking around the area where we're hiding.

"W-what about you? Won't you come with me?" I whispered observing the shadow that's slowly nearing our hiding spot.

I felt his warm hand cupping my left cheek making me look once again on his dark onyx eyes. He has a gentle smile painted on his thin lips.

"I can't come with you lassie. If I do, then those people won't stop on coming after you because you're with me. They'll be chasing us again and again and I don't know if I could keep you safe if that's the case." He explained softly, his eyes looking sad all of a sudden.

"Where'd you go then?" I asked trying to not make my voice broke.

"I'd create a distraction so you'll be able to get out of here unnoticed then I'll come to find you after I get away from them." Yoongi replied caressing the apple of my cheek softly making me lean my face more on his warm hand.

"Do you promise that? You'd come and find me?" I asked biting my lip and avoiding his eyes.

"I do. I promise that to you, lassie." He stated wrapping his pinky around my own.

"Now," He said placing a soft peck on my cheek. "Try to stay alive without me, Y/N."

that was his last words before he roughly pushed the leaves of the plants that's hiding us from the outside world.

After that, I hear him chuckle. "Fools! Min Yoongi is here!"

Then a chase started again. Those men chased Yoongi and I followed behind them as quietly as possible. I can't leave him. I just want to know that he'll be able to get away from this goons. I don't care if he told me minutes ago to leave him. I can take care of myself. I'd go with him.

They reached a cliff and that's when Yoongi stopped running along with those guys.

Yoongi chuckled once again. "I think I won't need to run anymore. Besides, my twin's threats were empty as always."

"Shut that foolish mouth of yours, Yoongi or I won't hesitate to end you here." Someone growled loudly, who I think is the 'other' Yoongi.

"End me here? With what? With your men? I thought you're stronger, Minki. You should end me with your own hands then." Yoongi suggested, chuckling after.

Is he an idiot? He's trying to get himself killed!

The guy that looks like Yoongi, Minki, his name I assumed lunged forward at Yoongi and they started fighting. From what I could see, Yoongi had the upperhand because Minki slipped while trying to send a blow to Yoongi and is now hanging of the cliff while Yoongi's hunched over his falling form.

"Any last words? Minki?" Yoongi chuckled but he frowned when Minki laughed maniacally.

"If I die, you'd die with me, brother." Minki screamed and lunged forward taking a hold of Yoongi's arms, whose surprised from the sudden attack, making him fall forward on the cliff with his twin.

I couldn't move from my place seeing the now empty edge of the cliff. Minki's men vanished right after they witnessed the fall but I stood there like a motionless rock on my place. Tears falling freely from my eyes and my lips trembling.

He broke his promise. He won't come search for me because now he can't.

Min Yoongi fell on the cliff.

The sailor's adventure came to an end.
