//Max's POV//

We slowed down at a guy at an ice cream cart.

"Hey Jack!" Y/n called to him.

"Y/n! How are you guys?" He asked.

"We're all good. Got Nice Creams left?"

*ayyyy I love this reference*

"I sure do!" Jack opened the freezer on the cart and took out 7 wrapped ice creams(?).

Y/n grabbed all of them from him after paying 10 dollars, "Thanks Jack."

"No problem, come again soon!"

Y/n handed everyone an ice cream and last me.

"Here ya go," She handed it to me, giving me her beautiful smile.

"Thanks."

I opened up the packaging to see a blue popsicle.

The wrapper had a message on it, "You found me!"

"What does yours say?" Y/n asked me, with the popsicle in her mouth.

I handed her the wrapper and her eyes lit up, "That's so weird!"

She handed me hers and it said, "I found you!"

"That is really weird," I nodded.

All the others gathered around us and looked at the wrappers beside each other.

"Wow! It's like you two are destiny!" Marie laughed.

"Yeah, because ice cream can predict the future. Do you hear yourself?" I rolled my eyes.

"Maybe it can, you never know," Len nudged me, wiggling his eyebrows.

It really was destiny though.

She did find me.

Y/n found me and rocked my world.

She made me forget about what's waiting at home for me: nothing.

She brings me hope.

The popsicle was blueberry and actually pretty good.

I looked at Y/n, who was half way done with her popsicle.

Her cheeks were red, sunburnt and her hair was still damp.

She had tied her jacket around her waist.

She noticed me looking at her and smiled into her popsicle.

I felt that I was blushing and looked down at the ground.

I heard the others watching me and snickering.

When I looked at the group they were all pressing their hands against Len's mouth.

"What?" I asked.

Len pushed everyone off of him and yelled, "Max totally thinks your pretty!"

I choked on my popsicle after he said that.

"W-W-What??" She stuttered.

"DAMMIT LENNY!!" Marie, Jesse, and Li yelled at the same time.

"Do y-y-you really?" Y/n asked me.

I took a deep breath.

"Yeah, I do."

"Awww!" Marie cooed obnoxiously.

"Shut up!" I yelled.

"I think you're cute too," She smiled as she rubbed her arm, "Also, your ice cream's melting."

"Oh, right! Thanks..ya know for the ice cream and the compliment..oh my god I need to shut up," I rambled.

Y/n giggled at me, "You're alright."

"Max is getting flustered!" Angelo laughed.

"I swear if none of you shut up.."

"I have an idea that totally won't have anyone beating each other up!" Y/n stopped me, "Why don't we go to Starry Haven?"

"What's that?" I asked.

"It's the most beautiful park you'll ever see. It's perfect to see the stars and it's just a nice place," Li explained.

"Oh, Okay."

We got on the bikes and rode for at least 15 minutes and reached the entrance.

We left the bikes at the bike stop.

It was about 7 so it was already getting dark.

I looked to my side to see Y/n, her figure illuminated by the sunset in the distance.

'She's too beautiful..'

We all stopped at this big hill and we all sat down on the grass.

The sunset was in perfect view, everyone was staring at it.

I looked at Y/n again, she was smiling.

She was so happy, and I loved it.

"Hey Y/n, look what I made!" Li called over to her and Y/n went over to her.

Y/n put something her head (it was hard to see since it got darker and she was farther away) and sat by Li.

I stared at the sunset for a bit more until the sun was completely gone.

The stars weren't out yet and the sky was still going over from red to dark purple.

After 15 more minutes, Y/n came back over.

"Close your eyes."

"Er..Why?"

"Just do it," She told me and I obeyed.

I felt her put something on my head now, "Open."

She held her phone out so I could see what was on my head.

A flower crown of blue lilacs.

"I always thought blue was your color. It really makes your eyes pop," She smiled.

Her crown was golden buttercups.

"Do you like it? Li made mine and she helped me make yours!"

"I love it," I admitted.

I swear I could see stars in her eyes.

"Max, there's also something I want to show you."

"What is it?"

"It's a surprise," She winked as we got up, "I'm going to show him the thing."

"Okay," Len nodded as he rubbed Angelo's head, who was snuggled beside him sleeping.

Len had purple lilacs on his crown and Angelo had pink blossoms.

Li had white daisies in her hair.

Jesse had red roses and Marie had white roses.

'I didn't know there was so many different flowers here.'

"Oh my god just tell me where we're going," I complained after walking for 5 minutes.

"Then it wouldn't be a surprise, stupid."

I stuck my tongue at her and she rolled her eyes, giggling.

"We're almost there," She said as she grabbed my hand.

We climbed up a couple rocks, "Do you hear that?"

I listened closely and heard running water.

"Water?"

"Yeah, there's a river nearby and one more thing. It's really pretty."

She went behind a bush and I followed.

"Aaaaaaand, we're here, ta-da!"

"Whoa.."

There was a large waterfall leading into a river.

There were flowers everywhere and a perfect view of the stars.

There were also a lot of fireflies, making it easier to see and the atmosphere more pretty.

"It's nice, isn't it?"

"Yeah."

"I come here a lot when I need time to think, ya know?" She sat down next to the river.

I sat down next to her.

She took off her shoes and let her ankles dip in the water.

I did the same since, the bruises were killing me and I thought the water would help.

"Max, I'm glad we did this."

She let her head fall on my shoulder.

"Yeah, it's been really fun."

"I actually wanted to see the stars with you, so today's my lucky day, I guess."

"Yep."

"It's really beautiful here," She looked around and smiled.

"I know something that's more beautiful though."

My heart felt like it was doing laps.

"What?"

"It's actually a person. Her name is Y/n L/n, maybe you know her?" I smirked.

"Aw, that's so sweet, you fucking dork!" She punched my shoulder, "Am I Really though or are you just fucking with me?"

"I wasn't joking before and I'm not now."

"Thanks Max. I don't hear that often from anyone besides my fam. Friends included."

Y/n took her feet out of the water, moved positions and rested her head on my lap.

"Comfy?" I asked.

"Yeah," She chuckled.

We both looked at the sky.

"What's your zodiac?" She asked me.

"Mine? Scorpio."

(Yeah, I'm making up a birthday for Max. Don't judge lmao.)

"I mean, it fits. You're protective and trusting but mysterious. If you get worked up, you're intensity rises. They're also really brave, a lot like you," She explained.

Even Angelo woke up to watch them.

"Aw look at them. They're so cute!" Marie squealed.

"Keep your voice down!" Li shushed her.

They're totally in love.

I mean, even though I just kissed and started dating Angelo today, I know what true love is.

Right there.

"Let's help the mood," Angelo suggested, taking out his phone.

"Oooh, romantic music. Good idea," Jesse nodded.

"What song?" Angelo asked.

"I know. How about we go on a radio on Pandora?" I suggested.

"Yeah, that's a great idea," Marie nodded, taking out her phone, "I'm sending a recording of this to Jaiden."

"What I'd miss?" Louis popped out of nowhere behind us.

"Where the hell did you come from?" I chuckled.

"I saw the bikes. Where's Y/n and Max?" Louis asked.

I pointed to the two sitting by the river.

"Ah, Y/n won him over."

"He admitted that he liked her to us, not her," Angelo shrugged, "We're going to play music to set the mood."

"Come on, leave them be," Louis objected.

"Yeah. Let them have their moment," Li agreed.

"They need the extra push," Angelo pressed play on his phone.

//Your POV//

The scene was perfect.

We were alone, together.

Then, I heard music.

"What the hell?" Max mumbled.

"Okay, they're most likely spying on us," I sighed, "What's with people playing love songs around us?"

Max shrugged and hummed a little bit.

"Hey Max."

"Yeah kitty?"

"You're humming, right? Why don't you sing?" I asked him.

"What?? No, no, no. I'm not going to embarrass myself like that. Especially if you're watching," He refused.

"C'mon, I sang in front of you that one time."

"You didn't know I was there, That's different. Plus, you're a way better singer than me. I only do it the shower."

"Same thing for me so it doesn't make a difference. I don't think you'll be bad."

"No. Nein. Nay. Never."

"Pleeeeeeaase?" I asked one more time, giving him the puppy dog look (which Nikki taught me to use against people).

Max looked at me for a minute and then sighed, "Fine."

After 2 minutes, the next song was "Let her go".

"You can do this!" I cheered him on, sitting up.

"Yeah, Whatever," He scoffed, being salty.

I took his hand so he could feel better, and he was less tense after that.

When Max finished, he opened his eyes and looked at me.

I was all choked up from how great he was doing, my hands covering my mouth, ready to cry.

"How was-..oh shit, Was it that bad?" Max asked, worry on his face.

"N-No, that was really beautiful, Max," I wiped my eye, then started clapping.

"You liked it?" He seemed surprised.

"What does this tear tell you?" I pointed to my cheek at a tear still on my cheek.

Max took his thumb and wiped it off.

"What tear?"

I stuck my tongue at him and he started laughing.

"Max."

"Yeah?"

"You have a nice laugh."

His face went red and he just looked to the ground for a second, "Th-Thank you."

"No problem."

We just sat there in silence for a couple minutes.

"Well this is kinda ruined thanks to them watching us," Max pointed behind us.

"DAMMIT!" I heard Marie yell.

"Go away! We'll be there in a minute!" I yelled to them.

I watched as all of them walk away, including Louis who must've found us.

"Sorry about them," I chuckled, "They're crazy but they're my family."

"It's alright, Kitty."

Max put his hands on my shoulders and kissed me on my forehead.

"Oh.....St-Stars..." I stuttered.

Max chuckled at my reaction, "Cute."

Max stood up and stretched.

"I think we should go back to the others," I suggested.

"Yeah."

After 5 minutes, we got back there.

We joined them, laying on the grass.

I noticed a bright line in the sky.

Then another one.

And another one.

"GUYS! LOOK!" I pointed to the sky.

There was a meteor shower going on!

"Quick! Make a wish!" Li told us.

I quickly found a star and closed my eyes.

I pressed my hopes and dreams into that star.

I vented all my wishes into that meteor until it was out of sight.

Soon, after 10 minutes the shower ended.

"So, What did y'all wish for?" Li asked.

"Li, they're not going to come true if we say them," Jesse rolled her eyes.

"Eh, mine came true anyways," Angelo rolled his eyes and kissed Len on the cheek.

"Awww," Marie cooed, "I wish that my other OTP will come true."

Marie nudged me with her elbow, "Ehhh? Ehhh?"

I pushed her away, playfully.

"I'm not going to say mine. I still need it to come true."

"Nerd," Len teased me.

"Yeah, but, it's really important."

"How so?" Max asked.

"That'd be spoiling my wish."

"Well, I wished this night would last longer but, that ain't happening," Max shrugged.

"Cool wish," I smiled.

I felt a buzz in my pocket, my phone.

"It's Jaiden!" I smiled.

"Y/n!!"

"Hey Jai."

"Where are you guys??"

"We're at our town. Duh," I moved the camera to the others, "By the way, Len kissed Angelo."

"WHAT?! DAMMIT I CAN'T BELIEVE I MISSED THAT!!" Jaiden yelled, "I got that video Marie sent me."

"What video?" I asked.

"You and Max. You guys were talking by the river. It was cut short when some music started playing."

"Marie?" I looked at her, "Why do you do shit like this?"

"No regrets," She shrugged.

"Also, I-"

"Y/N!!" A certain voice called.

"Fuck. Just what we've been trying to avoid," Max rubbed his temples.

"WHERE HAVE YOU TWO BEEN?!" David took Jaiden's phone.

"Uh, my town. My mom's bringing us back tomorrow morning though, so no worries."

"No worries? Y/n, we thought you two were kidnapped!"

"Sorry."

"I'm very disappointed. Where's Max?" He asked.

"Um, in the bathroom."

Max sighed in relief.

"Max, what's wrong?" Len asked him.

"LENNY!!" Jesse yelled at him.

"Shit, I blew your cover. Sorry."

"Y/n, put Max on the phone."

"*Sigh* Fine. Here," I passed my phone to Max.

I watched David lecture Max and Max suffer in silence.

I mimicked David with my hand and made him chuckle, but David didn't notice.

Once David finally finished, Jaiden apologized, said goodnight, and hung up.

"Well, now that we're scrubbing the Mess Hall with our toothbrushes," Max sighed.

"I'll get us new ones. I have extra at my house."

"Thanks."

I laid down on the grass and soon found myself falling asleep.

//Max's POV//

Y/n was out like a light after that.

She was adorable sleeping like that.

"Want us to escort you two home?" Jesse asked, as we all walked back to the bike stop.

I was carrying Y/n in my arms, which was cute but made me blush.

I had to ride the bike with Y/n behind me.

Louis helped me get her on the bike and when she did, she wrapped her arms around my waist and rested her head on my shoulder.

"It's been a while since I've rode a bike so bear with me," I warned them.

After many, many minutes of riding bikes, we all reached Y/n's moms house.

We all said our goodbyes and I carried Y/n to the front door and knocked.

Ms. L/n was in her pajamas and smiled when she saw me carrying her.

"Sorry about her. She can sleep on a picket fence if she really wanted to."

"It's no problem," I sat her on the couch.

"Let me find something for you to wear. I know Louis left some clothes here, so you have something at least," Her mom went upstairs.

She came back with a pile of clothes, "You can use the shower upstairs and I'll wake Y/n up so she can take one since there's a bathroom in my room."

She handed me the clothes and told me where the bathroom was.

The hot water against my back felt nice.

It's been a while since I've been in a real shower.

The one at my house isn't compared to this one.

Once I was done, I got dressed into the clothes Ms. L/n gave me and walked out of the bathroom.

Y/n's room had the door open and I could see her sleeping in her bed in pajamas.

I smiled to see how peaceful she was.

I walked downstairs to see Y/n's mom drinking tea from a mug.

"Hey. Your clothes are in the wash so they're clean for the morning."

"Thanks."

"The guest bedroom is upstairs next to Y/n's. Please make yourself comfortable," Her mother smiled.

"Oh, thank you."

"Your welcome. Also, thank you for being so nice to Y/n. She's a great kid and if you're there for her, she'll never let you down."

I nodded and went upstairs.

I laid down in the bed, surprised on how comfy it was compared to mine at home.

The sheets were clean and smelled like lavender.

I slowly fell asleep.

**Time skip to 1AM**

I woke up to a noise coming from the next room.

Something was going on in Y/n's room.

I heard it again when I thought it was best to check on her.

I quickly tip toed to her room to see her bed empty and her window open.

"Y/n?" I whispered.

I looked out the window and called to her again.

"Up here," She said from the roof.

I climbed out of the window on to the roof next to her.

"What are you doing up so late?" I asked her.

"I dunno. Couldn't sleep."

"Hm. That's weird considering how soft the beds are here," I chuckled.

"Yeah."

We stared at the stars again for a bit.

Her pajamas were cute.

They were pastel pink with moons and little bunnies on them.

"Bunnies, Huh?" I snickered.

"Shush you. It's based off the Japanese folk tale of the rabbit, or Usagi, on the moon."

"Should I start calling you bunny girl?"

"I'd rather you not make me sound like I'm from the playboy mansion."

"Pffft. Guess not," I chuckled.

"Well would ya look at that."

"What?"

"My wish came true."

"What was it? To lecture me about Japanese stories?"

"No. It's stupid, you'll laugh."

"Tell meeee," I whined.

"Well...I wanted to spend more of the night together."

I felt my face get red with blush and so did hers.

"You know...I wanted that to."

After 10 minutes of staring at the stars together, we went back inside.

Before I went back in the guest bedroom, we wished each other goodnight.

"Night, Max."
