3 weeks left..

I woke up in..the Mess Hall???

My face was buried between I arms and everyone else was asleep at the tables.

The night before, we partied after our win against the Wood Scouts.

David ordered pizza and also ordered soda (big mistake).

Everyone was either sugar high, or knocked out by the soda.

Next to me was Max, slumped against my shoulder snoring.

On my other side was Nikki, her face on top of a half eaten slice of pizza.

I noticed that next to Max and I, there were two copies of a photo of us sleeping closer together.

I blushed at the photo.

I looked down at my clothes, realizing I was in the same clothes.

We all were in the same clothes as yesterday.

Disgusted my the smell of sweat and pizza I grabbed 1 copy of the photo, tried to get up, but I felt a pull on my waist sitting me back down.

I realized Max had his arms wrapped around my waist, holding me tight.

'What is with him and never wanting to let go of me in his sleep??'

"Max, let me go," I poked his cheek.

"Ngh..."

"Let me go."

He woke up, "Fuck, sorry."

"It's fine. I'm gonna go take a shower since I don't plan on smelling like a New York Subway all day."

"Pfft, Okay."

//Max's POV//

Y/n walked off to the girl's shower room.

"I'll come!" Nikki got her face up from the pizza and followed her.

All the other girls followed.

I looked down at the table and noticed a picture of me and Y/n together, sleeping.

'Who the fuck took this??' I thought.

I flipped the photo and on the back, there was writing in black pen, "Y'all were so cute that I just had to take a snap".

'Huh. No one here talks like that...weird.'

I left the Mess Hall and headed to my tent.

I didn't even change when I flopped on my cot.

My phone's clock said 10:31 AM.

"Guess I could sleep in for another-"

"GET UP MAX!!" David bursted in my tent.

"David what the fuck!?"

"Hey..language. You have to get up, we have another activity with the other camps today and everyone is getting ready but you."

"Why should I?" I stuffed my head in my pillow.

"Well..You'll get to see Y/n in a bathing suit~."

"Wait what-"

But he was already gone, leaving my tent before I could ask him what the hell he meant.

"Christ.." I mumbled, getting up and changing my clothes.

//Your POV//

(Note: The shower rooms are sorta like Locker Rooms with Showers in them)

As I was getting out of the shower, Nikki ran up to me.

"Hey Y/n!"

"Do you mind??" I covered myself.

"Sorry," She turned around, waiting for me to wrap a towel around myself.

Once I did, she turned back around, all the girls were crowding around me.

"Why are you all here?" I asked.

"That's a cute bathing suit, Y/n," Said Jaiden, pointing to my bikini on a hanger, "Are you wearing it for Max?"

"What?! N-No!"

"C'mon, it's so obvious you like him so just admit it," Ered nodded.

"I guess it's already known but..I'm not wearing this for him! We're just kids after all!"

"Sure~" Jaiden swooned.

"Could you shut it?" I asked her.

"Well anyways, I am in dire need of your wisdom, Y/n," Nerris Spoke up.

"Okay..?"

"I...I might have a tiny, how do I put it? Liking..to Harrison."

"Wait..you have a crush on him?" I asked, surprised and excited.

"Y-Yes..Don't tell him though," She admitted.

"Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! That's so adorable!! You guys would make such a cute couple! Maybe even as cute as Max and Y/n!" Jaiden twirled in her wheelchair.

"Jesus Christ, Jaiden, shut up about that."

"Why? Is something wrong? Did you guys get in a fight again?" She questioned.

"No, it's just that..I don't think it'll ever happen."

"Hey, don't be so down Y/n, it'll happen. Maybe not now but in the future, you just gotta take it slow and be chill," Ered told me.

"Indeed, the best things in life are awaited for," Nerris nodded.

"Thanks guys. But Jaiden, How did you know Max and I got in a fight?" I asked her.

"Max came to me for advice since I'm your bff."

"Oh."

I picked up my bathing suit.

It was a white two piece with black polka dots.

When I was finished putting it on (facing the corner so nobody sees my no-no square), I turned around so everyone could see, "How does it look."

"Spicy!" Jaiden laughed giving a thumbs up.

"Y/n it looks great on you!" Nikki smiled.

"Rad," Ered nodded.

"Plus 10 Beauty Points," Said Nerris.

"Thanks guys," I smiled as I threw on a T-shirt as a cover up, "Does anybody know what the activity is?"

"Oh! I do! It's Raft Wars," Nikki bounced in place.

"What's that?"

"Each camp has a team of two people and the team has to push off each camp's players off their rafts and get the flag at the other side of the lake," Nikki explained, "Y/n, if we are players, do you want to be my partner?"

"Why the hell not? Sure, Nikki."

**Later..**

"So our camp representatives will be...Nikki and Y/n!"

"Yeah!" We both did a high-five.

"We're gonna pummel them to the ground!" Nikki punched the air.

"Hell Yeah we are!"

**Timeskip to the game**

"Ready.."

Nikki and I got into running position, just like everyone else.

"Set.."

We looked at each other and nodded, smiled on our faces.

"GO!!" David waved the black and white checkered flag and Gwen honked an air horn.

Nikki bolted and I ran as fast as I could to catch up with her.

She was in front of everyone, already grabbing a blowup raft, "C'mon, Y/n!"

I hurried my pace and hopped on, using my foot to kick the doc, launching us into the lake.

Nikki handed me an oar, "Let's do this!"

We both rowed together, ahead of the Flower Scouts team which consisted of the Ginger and Blonde, who I now know as Sasha and Tabii with two I's, but still behind the Woodscouts.

Petrol was doing all the work, while Pikemen stood at the front thinking he's hot shit.

Everyone was cheering for us.

Jaiden was definitely the loudest, who was chanting, "LETS GO CC, LETS GO!" And clapped twice.

The Chant eventually caught on and our whole camp did it except for Max, who was silently holding up a cardboard sign that Jaiden made, that said "Go Team Campbell! Make us proud, Y/n and Nikki!" With little doodles of the Camp Campbell logo and Me and Nikki's faces.

Sometimes he'd do a little "woo" but that was it.

He was obviously bored, not being the type of person for these type of events.

Despite Jaiden's howling (which was getting a bit old), I could tell Max was quietly cheering me-, us on.

"C'mon Y/n, focus!" Nikki barked.

"Sorry!"

**A little bit of a fast forward**

Me and Nikki had knocked Sasha and Tabii overboard, taking over their raft.

We excelled until we were neck and neck to the WoodScouts, in the middle of the vast, Lake Lilac.

"Seems like you two are close to getting ahead.." Pikemen taunted.

"Shut it, grease trap," I hissed, "Nikki, let's move on."

"Got- OW!" She yelped.

Nikki clenched onto her now bleeding ankle, causing the audience to gasp.

"What the fuck??" My eyes widened at the large gash on her leg.

I looked over to see a large, bloody rock next to her.

I swiftly turned my head to see Pikemen holding a slingshot.

Nikki lost her balance and fell into the lake, causing us to stop.

"Sorry, sweetheart, better luck next time," Pikemen snorted and rowed away, making me growl.

"Time out!" I yelled to David who just noticed me pulling Nikki out of the water back on the raft.

"Pause!" David yelled to Pikemen, who groaned but ordered Petrol to stop.

**Timeskip to Nikki at land**

"Yeah, I'd say she can't keep racing," Gwen nodded.

"Why should we finish at all?? They're playing dirty!" Jaiden yelled.

"Jaiden, we didn't see it happen so we can't prove that it did. As much as I think it was them and you guys are saying the truth, we still can't assume so have to let them play."

"Dammit," I mumbled.

Everyone was taking a water break.

"Mr. David, if Y/n doesn't have a partner, isn't Camp Campbell disqualified?" Pikemen asked like the scumbag he is.

"Well, yes," David sighed, "Y/n, I'm afraid our Team is-"

"I'll be her partner."

We all looked at Max, who had a face of determination.

He turned to Pikemen, "Listen to me you little prick, if you even throw one fucking rock at me or Y/n, you won't wake up tomorrow morning."

"Oh snap," Jaiden whispered.

"Max, calm down. Are you sure you want to replace Nikki?" David asked him.

"Did I fucking stutter?"

"Alright then. Y/n, you're still in."

"Aw Yeah!" I beamed, "Max thank you so much!"

"No problem," He said as he took off his sweat shirt and T-shirt (he was already wearing swim shorts since everyone had to wear swim outfits just in case).

Everyone had to swim up to their own raft, which were floating in the middle of the lake and start all at the half way point.

"Ready.."

We grabbed our oars, getting in position to paddle.

"Set.."

He looked at me with a straight face, so I flashed him a smile and he smiled back.

"Go!"

Thanks for letting me take a week off, y'all, I rly fucking needed that.

I'm sorry but I rly had to make this a two parter bc it's like 11Pm and I have to get up at 5:30 AM for fucking hell- Ahem, I mean school tomorrow and I'm rly fuckin tired.

Also, The Wattys are on Friday!!!!!

I hope that It doesn't release while I'm in school cuz that would S U C K .

I'm 90% sure I won't win but hey I'll try at least.
