2 weeks and 5 days left..

"Gosh, I hope she's okay.."

"She'll be fine, she's Y/n!"

"Give it time, guys."

"Oh look, she's waking up."

"Ugh..what..what happened?" I mumbled.

My eyesight was fuzzy and the bright lights above me did not help at all.

When my eyes finally focused on my surroundings, I realized I was in a hospital.

Around me, was My mom and my dad, Uncle Sam, David, Gwen, Nikki, Neil, and to my joyful surprise, all my friends from home.

"Y/n!" Nikki pressed a hug on me.

"You have us quite a scare," Jesse sighed.

"We were so worried, hun," Mom smiled.

"Guys..you're all here," I smiled as I sat up.

"Of course we're here, kiddo. You almost got your throat cut out," Sam shrugged.

"Can't believe that dick tried to do that!" Marie cursed, making David jump at her language.

"I guess everybody is introduced to each other," I looked around.

"Totally," Len nodded.

"Hey..where's Max?" I asked.

He was the last thing I remembered.

I wanted, no, needed to see him.

"He went to go get coffee. He'll be back in a minute," Dad said.

It was sorta miraculous to see my mom and dad in the same room without my dad shaking in anxiety and my mom scowling at him.

"Oh yeah! Max will be so happy to see you're awake," Angelo smiled, "Max was worried more than all of us, even your parents!"

"How..how long have I been out?" I asked.

"A day, sweetie," Said Marie.

"You passed out due to your cuts bleeding so much and being dehydrated," Neil explained.

"Geez..I must've gave you guys a scare, huh?"

"Yeah, you did. We're glad to see you okay,   Y/n," David smiled.

The door then opened.

"Why are you guys talking so damn loud?She's sleeping for godsake-" Max paused when he saw me awake.

His mouth dropped open, staring at me.

"H-Hey," I managed to say.

He handed his coffee to Neil and walked over to me.

Max pressed me into a hug, "Don't you ever fucking scare me like that again."

"Hey, Language-"

"Shut up, David, they're having a moment," Gwen shushed David.

"Sorry, Max," I smiled sheepishly.

"It's okay..I was just so damn scared."

"Heh..we all were," Sam nodded.

Max wiped his eye, "Alex is in police custody, he isn't getting off easy."

"Why did he do this? Did he ever say why?" I asked.

"What happened was that when he was on his way home, he jumped out of the car and ran into the woods. He's been living on spooky island for the last couple of days. Alex basically snapped when you didn't accept his confession," Gwen explained what happened.

"Oh. Well now I feel bad," I sighed.

"Don't. It's not like you could have stopped it. You were honest with your feelings and that's all that matters," Louis shook his head.

"I guess. I just hope he gets the help he needs."

"Yeah," Louis nodded.

"Soooo.." I looked down, "What's up?"

"What's up?? Y/n, you almost died!" Max raised his voice.

"I-" I was about to say something when my phone rang.

I didn't recognize the number but I put it to my ear, "Hello?"

"Hello, little bird. The police said I had one phone call every 3 months so here it is. Once I get out of here, you're mine-"

"Lemme stop ya right there, pal."

"Wait, What??"

"Yeah, I wouldn't try that if I were you, because Max sorta kicked your ass and if you are willing to press that on yourself, you really have some issues that need to be resolved. Bye bye."

"I'm not finished, I-"

And with that, I hung up the phone.

"Was that..Alex?" Neil asked.

"Well, Yeah, But he's not gonna call again, or at least until 3 months," I smirked, satisfied on what I told him.

"Haha, ya really did a number on him, did ya, Max!?" Li elbowed Max.

"More or less," He shrugged.

"Well, Mr. and Ms. L/n..as you know, there have been a few issues involving the safety of Y/n. If you want her to go home, I will oblige and she can go," David said seriously to my parents.

"Mom, Dad, please, please let me stay," I begged them.

I got truly scared, thinking I was going to leave all my friends at camp early.

Thinking I was going to leave Max early.

They looked at each other, then me, and then nodded.

"She can stay. Most of the issues weren't exactly your fault anyways," My mom agreed.

"Thanks guys," I smiled.

"Woohoo!" Nikki cheered.

"Yeehaw!" Li also cheered, "I like you, Nikki, you got spunk."

"Guess you get to stay in hell with us for a little while longer," Max grabbed my hand and squeezed it.

"Yeah, I guess I do."
