[Reader's P.O.V.]

I look further into the cave and saw nothing but a clump of leaves and grass...it was really hard to see anything since the little bonfire that Matt has started was the only thing lighting up the place.

Then I heard a growling sound again. I grabbed a fallen branch from the floor, ready to attack any wild animal that might show up. The growling sound also gotten Matt's attention and we were both on high alert for anything. Then the small clump of grass trembled amd out of it came a..a.....

Rabbit....?!

"Aww, it's just a rabbit." Matt said. All the suspense he probably felt disappeared, I guess, since he was slightly smiling at the rabbit in amusement. I started to back away slowly while Matt started getting nearer to the rabbit, about to pet it. Is he serious?! T-That t-thing is a wild animal!

Matt turned to me with an amused smile still on his face. He had already pet the rabbit and is now holding it. "It's so cute." He told me. I just continued to back away from him. Then started to have a little flashback about my past.

When I had a pet rabbit, it bit me, and I was so afraid of getting rabies. Matt's expression turned into a confused one and then it slowly turned into a smirk. "You're scared of rabbits?" He asked teasingly with that stupid smirk still stuck on his face.

I didn't bother to reply and still continued to back away. Matt stood up from his crouching position and started to carry the rabbit closer to me.

No way! I ran deeper into the cave, trying to avoid Matt and the rabbit. Matt was practically chasing me with it, while he teased me about being afraid of rabbits. I ended up at the end of the cave and it was a dead end for me. I had nowhere else to run.

Matt starter to pull the rabies- I mean, rabbit closer to me. I had no other choice. I kicked him where the sun doesn't shine. I watched as he dropped down to the floor in pain. This must be like the third time I kicked him there. He really needs to have a better guard of himself.

I was laughing at Matt's pain when I realized that the rabbit was hopping towards me. "Sh*t!" I muttered and started running away from it. Matt started laughing, even though he was obviously still in pain. I ran in circles while I tried to avoid the rabbit.

The fact that Matt was just laughing at me the entire time really annoyed me. After around seven or eight loops of running in circles, away from the rabbit I decided to run to Matt for protection. Pitiful, I know. "Matt.." I muttered in fear while I hid behind him. Matt looked at me and probably saw my scared expression.

"Go away now, shoo." He said to the rabbit and it started to hop back to its nest. Is Matt some kind of animal whisperer or something? He can talk to Kuma and the rabbit. I let out a sigh of relief and sat comfortably, leaning on Matt's back.

"You're seriously afraid of rabbits?" Matt asked me with a little bit of disbelief. I sighed. "I know it sounds pitiful and stuff but there really is a reason behind it." I said, trying to avoid telling him the entire story.

"So why?" He asked me. Ugh, I really have to explain the entire thing, don't I? "Long story short, I had a pet rabbit when I was little and it bit me. I had to go to a doctor to see if it was alright, since I was really afraid of getting rabies and so I was freaking scared." I told him the summary of the story. I laughed a bit, remembering how paranoid I was.

"And so, now I'm afraid of rabbits." I said. Matt stared at me. "Well, that does justify your fear of rabbits." He told me while I just laughed. "I told you." I replied.

After a while, we were both just quietly sitting there, leaning on to each other. The silence started to make me feel sleepy and the warmth from the bonfire made me feel a little bit comfortable in this cold cave. After a while, I drifted to sleep.
