"Why didn't you tell us you house a tailed beast?" Tsunade demanded.
I wasn't really sure how to respond. "I- what? I don't house a tailed beast, do I?"
"On the mission to Suna," Kakashi began. "And you saw on of the Akatsuki sitting on Gaara, you lost control."
"But that doesn't mean I'm a jinjuuriki," I blanched.
"A black chakra covered you, in the form of an owl. You just about demolished the cave, and caused quite a bit of damage to the blonde one," he continued.
I blinked. "Oooookay, so I house a tailed beast. So what?"
They all sighed at me, sweat dropping.
"Your nonchalance will be the Death of you, I swear it," Jiraiya muttered. I rolled my eyes.
"Guys, really, it's no big deal. I can handle it," I assured.
"Alright, if you say you can do this, we have faith you," Tsunade sighed.
"Thank you," I smiled, leaving the room. I waited outside the room for a moment before opening the door.
"And if she-" Tsunade cut off, right in the middle of handing Yamato a piece of paper with a seal on it.
I deadpanned. "Oh yeah, total faith," nevertheless I smiled as I shook my head and shut the door, heading off to find my brother. "Well now, things just got a bit more interesting.... As if my life was boring."

"Naruto, wake up," I said, shaking his shoulder. "Lets go visit otousan before we meet out new team members.
"Hai... Hai, I'm up...." He yawned, rubbing his eyes.
"I'm making muffins, go ahead and get ready."
"Hai...."
I smiled and kissed the top of his head before leaving his room.
"You glad he knows?"
I looked down at Pakkun. "Absolutely."
He smiled at me and followed me to the kitchen, where I gave him some ham.
I got the muffins out and wrapped up a few for Kakashi.
"Those smell great, sis," Naruto yawned, grabbing one before getting milk from the fridge.
"How'd you sleep? Use a cup."
"Oh, right," he said sheepishly, taking the carton away from his mouth and pouring some milk in a glass. "And I slept great!"
"Good, good. Are you ready?" I asked as he finished off his milk.
"Hai, lets go."
---
"Ohaio, otousan!" Naruto and I grinned as we entered Kakashi's hospital room.
"Ah, ohaio, you two," he said, sitting up.
"We bring muffins," I said cheerfully, handing him the treats.
"They let you?" He said, raising an eyebrow.
"Nope," laughed Naruto. "So I'd eat 'em quick, otousan."
"We just thought we'd visit before meeting our new team members," I said, giving him a hug.
"Yeah, and to tell you we'll be back real soon so you don't get too bored," Naruto added, giving him a hug as well.
"Good to know, you two," Kakashi chuckled. "Now you better get going, or you'll be late."
"You'd know all about being late, bye otousan! " Naruto and I said together as we left. I heard him laughing quietly.
"Time to meet the team," I grinned.
"Yosh!"
---
"Hey guys!" I said, waving as Naruto and I ran over to Sakura and Sai. "Sai! How ya doing buddy?!" I asked, jumping on the pale boy's back.
"Excuse me, how do you know my name?" He asked with a fake smile.
"I'm just special like that!"
"By special, do you by chance mean special Ed?"
"Hey! Don't insult my sister!" Naruto yelled.
"See, now that? That was rude, and if I were anyone else, you'd be dead," I said cheerfully.
"Noted, now would you be so kind as to get off my back?" He asked, still smiling that fake smile.
"I suppose," I sighed overdramatically. "Yamato! You'd carry me, wouldn't you?" I asked, disappearing and reappearing on the creeper's back.
"How'd you know I was here?" He asked, surprised.
"I'm cool like that," I replied with a cheeky smile. "Naruto! Stop glaring at Sai!"
"But-"
"Come on bro, lets make nice. Please?"
He grumbled some, but nodded.
"Alright, everyone ready?" Yamato asked, letting me play koala.
We all nodded.
"Lets go then."
---
"K-Kota! Wait!"
We paused and I looked at Kankuro, who was out of breath.
"Kankuro, what are you doing here?" I frowned, getting off Yamato's back. "You should be at home, resting."
"Gaara told me you were going on a dangerous mission. I had to tell you to be careful," he said, looking into my eyes.
"What you think I'm gonna die?" I smirked. "Please Kankuro, I got thi-"
I never got to finish, due to his lips slamming onto mine desperately, his hands on either side of my face. I let my eyes shut and wrapped my arms around his neck, smiling and not caring that my team was staring. I felt Kankuro's arms wrap around my waist and pull me closer.
Someone coughed.
We pulled away and looked sheepishly at my team, all of which were looking rather awkward.
"We.... Uh.... Should get going...." Yamato said, looking embarrassed as he rubbed the back of his neck.
I sighed, resting my head on Kankuro's chest since he's so tall. "Oh, right, the mission..."
He chuckled and kissed the top of my head.
"I'll try to make it back by the time you do, and well finish what we started. Just send Hedwig with a letter once you start making your way home."
"Okay," I said, smiling up at him. I stretched up and planted my lips on his for only a second before stepping away. "Okay, we can go now," I said to my team with a goofy smile. They seemed a bit relieved as we left the village.
We walked for quite a while, me with my headphones in. After a while, everyone stopped, and I looked back to see what the hold up was as my music blocked out their voices.
Sai said something, then Naruto said something, then on and on until Naruto went to hit Sai, but Sakura stopped him. Yamato looked relieved, but I saw Sakura going to punch Sai, so I stepped between them, catching her fist easily and putting on a deadly smile.
"Now," I said, taking out my earbuds. "We are all on the same team. The last thing a team needs is disfunction. If we are going to survive this mission, we will have to make nice. If anyone tries to hit anyone, you have me to answer too, and you have not seen the extent of my strength. Am I understood?" I asked calmly. They all paled and nodded.
Though that could have been because I made my eyes gleam demonically.
"Thank you," Yamato sighed.
"You're just lucky I'm in a good mood," I said boredly.
"All thanks to Kankuro," Sakura smirked. I blushed and coughed awkwardly, dropping her fist.
"Shut up and lets go," I grumbled.
"We can spend the night at a nearby inn," Yamato said, looking to the slowly darkening sky.
