The St. Claire's.

One of the most powerful families in the country.

They controlled everything.

From real estate to hospitals to schools to weapons to factories and even farming.

The St. Claire's had something to do with it.

Every St. Claire had the weight of the country on their shoulders but even more the weight of their family.

Allison was no exception.

Even if she did lose her parents when she was only seven in a car crash that almost killed her.

It didn't matter that the girl just got out of heart surgery and just found out she was an orphan she had to be presentable for the press conference and wasn't allowed to cry.

After that day, Allison was left in the care of her grandparents.

Arthur and Josephine St. Claire were very...strict when it came to the roles of the heir of the St. Claire family.

She had to be perfect.

Mistakes were not tolerated.

Tears were not allowed.

And love was just a word that didn't need to be spoken.

That was why Allison hid from getting into medical school until she got into the top one.
