It killed me to watch you go but my nerves were greater than my resolve so I stood back, 

They all tipped their hats in respect, in thanks, but I bit my tongue and tears, as my head fell slack.

You don't even realize how much I care. I like our awkward lunches at school and our speedy hellos and goodbyes when we passed each other. I'm here and I don't wish to see you gone.

But all I did was awkwardly hug you and say be safe,

Because I do love you and I'm not ready to say goodbye for eight.
