From the conversation with Dr. James, the doctor who he met in the clinic, Madav now understood those initial letters that he thought has no meaning but just a normal letter, turned out to show her illness's progression.
A single tear glide down from his warm, chocolate eyes, followed by another one, and another one, until soon, a steady stream of salty tears flowed its way down his cheek, releasing the sadness and sorrow that has been held inside of him for all this time but still he did not make a sound. It might wake her up.
'I wish I was with you then but now I am. I will never let you go through this alone' he turned to the dimmer side of his room illuminated by the table light.
Padmini looked absolutely calm in sleep yet he knew there's a turmoil going on in her. Her system started to play with her memories. Slowly losing herself.
Why did she hide this from him, after all they promised to stay with each other even during hard times?
Madav took all the letters and put it in a box. That's to treasure.
After all there are letters from his love.
He walked up to the window and looked up. The dawn came with a musical silence, the soul hearing the melody that the ears could not. A new day had come, new possibilities, a fresh page yet to be written with Padmini from now on.
A few residents had already started their day, some had their lights on and some were out for a jog. The weather looked good though the sign shows it might rain again. Nevertheless, it's always feels good to run in such weather.
Last night's incident twitched his heart. What if he wasn't there? Padmini would be laying there unconscious for long.
Padmini's alarm rang brought him out of his trance. He watched her as she slowly walked to and out of the bathroom.
Never once she looked up at him. Madav continued to watch as she kept tossing to get back to sleep. Does she have difficulties in sleeping as well?
He made his way to the bed and gathered her in his arms, smoothed away her curls that clung to his face. Padmini's tensed body relaxed to his touch as he soothed her wavering mind she dropped into a peaceful slumber after months.

Padmini stood at the very window from where Madav used to watched her, now she was staring blankly at her own house.
"Good morning" Madav walked into the room with breakfast for both of them. "since you woke up late thought of bringing breakfast here" he smiled as though there was nothing to be worried about and everything was normal. His smile always worked whenever she gets upset, the flattering smile never fails to make her heart skip a beat.
His smile is her favourite.
"Did you get good sleep?"
"No, I wasn't sleeping I was watching you read those letters"
"hmm... what are you staring at from here?" he wrapped her in his arms from the back.
"I don't know" she replied continued staring at her house.
"Paddu... since your stay here isn't a planned one. Do you want me to inform Kishore?" Madav left her and moved to the small table to serve breakfast. Kishore. That guy had been bothering him for quite long. Madav just couldn't get over with the guy named Kishore.
"Kishore?" she puzzled.
"The guy..."
"Wait, wait, wait.... let me think... I know...I know I just need some time" she blurted and gestured him with her hand to stop.
She squeezed her eyes, made all kind of weird facial expression trying to remember who Kishore is. Madav admiringly watch her though inside it was squashing him as he sees how much of an effort she has to put to remember someone she knew.
"He was my colleague in BigWheel" she said and instantly her smile dropped, recalling the event happened in the mall.
She sat quietly at the small table, staring the breakfast Madav passed to her. "Madav... I'm sorry."
"For what?"
"For whatever happened in the mall.....
......I didn't remember what I said to you that day and kept thinking hard what was it that I told you. I couldn't remember trust me. The only thing that I remembered was your face... shocked, pain, hurt... but I didn't know what happened. I wanted to know... I just didn't have the... courage to come up to you and ask what I have said to you... until we met in the cafe
I shouldn't have said that but at that moment ... in the mall... I... I... really couldn't remember who you were" she started sobbing and eventually started hyperventilating.
She sobbed into her chest unceasingly, hands clutching at his jacket. He held her in silence, rocking her slowly as her tears soaked his chest. He wrapped her tight, comforting her, soothing her just everything that he can to stop her from feeling sad for that day. It wasn't her fault for not recognizing him. Rubbing away his own tears, he pulled her from him and wiped her heavily flowing stream.
"I'm sorry Madava. I'm really sorry. I hurt you so much. You should leave me. I'm going to hurt you even more." she sobbed more.
"Shhhh.... don't even think about it" he warned as he kept her in his tight embrace.
"but it isn't going to be easy Madav"
"We will cross the bridge as it comes"

"Ma..., Madhu....?" Pankaj begin yelling her name as soon as he got into the house.
"Oh, what's the fuzz all about little brother in law" Madav came down followed by Padmini behind him.
"Nothing much. Just got bored at home so, thought of spending some time with my cool brother in law and Ma" Pankaj made himself comfortable in their living room as Madav joins him.
"I'll go get some time to drink" Padmini headed to the kitchen with Durga.
"Mama... look what I found" Pankaj whispered as soon as Padmini disappeared into the kitchen.
"What she wrote a book" Madav surprised to see Pankaj bringing out a small book from his bag.
"It's a scrapbook. Look at all these, mama. I wonder when she gotten the time doing all these cutting and pasting thing." Pankaj flipped through the scrapbook Padmini did for her dream wedding.
Pictures of bridal dress, wedding decorations, list of foods, wedding songs and everything that says wedding.
"Look at the guest list mama, she only wants fifty people to attend her wedding! Where is the fun with fifty people? I'm telling you now, fifty is too less. How will I find someone for me in this small group?" Pankaj started complaining about her guest list.
"hush, Pankaj. There is dates written on every page. She did this after she left BigWheel" Madav drifted into deep thought, thoughts about wedding.
She wants a wedding.
"What's this?" asked Padmini eyeing the book in Madav's hand. Padmini and Durga had just joined them.
"It's yours"
"Mine? I don't remember" she scanned the book front and back, flipping through all the pages yet she wasn't able to recognize the book.
~~~~I have so much of you in my heart~~~~
