"Wow it is a total different type of place, and the house also seems to be really old." Emily started wander around the garden in wonder.

" Yeah it is really old, don't wander around lets go inside and check out the rooms." Charles and Emily get inside.

The rooms were almost decorated with old veteran things. Some paintings were already hanged over the wall, well furnished old furniture but already started to degrade due to lack of care. However the rooms were already clean cause they have already appointed maid to clean up the space.

Someone knocked on the door.

"Yes! coming wait a minute." Emily shouted and walked downstairs to open the door.

She opened the door but nobody was there, she searched everywhere but found no one but a black cat. She shrugged and closed the door.

"Honey, I have checked all the rooms they are great wish I could stay here with you but don't worry I will come back really fast." Charles saw that Emily wasn't paying any attention to his words.

" Who was there in the door?" Charles asked her.

" I saw nobody but just a black cat." She replied without any expression.

"Ah! don't worry maybe it was the cat." He said and went upstairs.

Emily thought how a cat could do this, the switch of the bell is at very high level to reach for a cat,  whatever,she shrugged and left.

They slept that night really well.

Next Day~

" Charles I am going out to meet the neighbor." She left the house.

Ding Dong~

A lady came out. She almost look like the same age as Emily. She smiled and asked very politely "Yes?"

"Hello, I am Emily, Emily Jones, I have just shifted here for  a month ."

"Hello, I am Diana please come inside."

They both entered the room.

"This is my husband Peter."

He smiled and welcome her and left for his work .

Diana again smiled and said " He will be out for a week."

" Oh." Emily smiled.

"Um Emily I don't want to say something spooky as you have just came here but for your safety I think I should say, that house is haunted I think." Diana said with no emotion.

Emily started to laugh out loud but when she realized Diana is being serious she said " Do you believe in this kind of stuffs?"

Diana said " Yeah, don't you think in this world everything is possible?"

Emily become serious and asked " Why did you think that the house is haunted and by the way that house is my husband grandparent's house so how could it be?"

" I don't know I have some strange feelings near the house, and maybe his grandparents has bought that house but that house is way older than that, I think it has some story."

"But yesterday I have slept really well."

" Nothing strange happened yesterday are you really sure?" Diana asked eagerly.

Emily remembered the door bell incident but choose to remain silent.

They both were in there deep thought on that time a guy behind her came and whispered near her ear "So who are you beautiful?"

Emily jumped, her heartbeat become faster.

Diana said " James! you should behave yourself, you scared her."

"Are you okay Emily?" Diana asked her worriedly.

" Yeah, I am okay, by the way who are you?" Emily asked James.

" He is James , my friend and also a really good neighbor but a flirty guy." Diana said and smiled.

" Nice to meet you Miss beautiful." James winked.

" For your kind information I am married , Mrs. Emily Jones." she smirked.

" My bad." James scratch his neck.

Everybody started to laugh out loud.

At house~

" You know they are really great , funny and lovable." Emily said to Charles.

" Good for you , you will not feel lonely, and maybe you will forget about me." He teased her.

" Charles!" She hit him playfully she has almost forget when they have talked like this.

They both felt sleepy.

" Charles is this a haunted house?" She asked randomly.

" Haha, do you believe on those stuffs?" he replied.
She remained silent.

Then they both fall asleep.

3 AM~

Emily heard a sound and woke up , she felt thirsty.

She slowly went to downstairs .

She felt someone's hand on her shoulder. She felt so cold over her shoulder.

She screamed "Aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh! Someone save me."
Thud~
