Kakashi was worried. It's been a month since the disappearance of his youngest student, his sensei's son. The boy he watched go into ANBU Quarters and paint their masks pink. The boy he would help escape the mob of villagers on his birthday.

Kakashi was lucky, during his team's starting mission nothing happened because Minato sensei was paranoid and followed them. Minato sensei saved Rin from death and Kakashi and Obito from capture.

But people in Kakashi's class had died on those missions. People that Kakashi grew up with. Dead within weeks of graduating.

He had already nearly lost his team in the wave mission, one wrong move, and god knows what could have happened.

This worry seemed to have affected his other students because they both have been acting more reserved these past weeks. With Sakura sending obvious glances over to her right side where Naruto would usually be, and Sasuke standing up and opening his mouth only to shut it and sit back down.

Now he was back in the Hokage's office waiting for the return of his student.

The Hokage looked around and noted that everyone was here before clearing his throat.

" We will do this in order," he said, sending a glare to the jonin.

" Come in" He called and the door opened. It was Guys mini me.

Expect while his hair and eyes were the same he had changed. Thankfully the jumpsuit was gone in favor of a black top, and dark green shinobi pants. Separate sleeves covered his forearms. Bandages wrapped around his chest and arms making the darker colors contrast. A nasty burn scar was in his bare shoulder and a scar that looked to be made from a tanto curved around his elbow.

It was only thanks to his ninja training that Kakashi caught the slight widening of Guy's eyes and the purse of his lips. His genin was more open. Neji recoiled back and TenTen put her hands over her mouth doing nothing to suppress her gasp.

Each step that this genin took had power behind it and in a similar way to ANBU he wore that power over him.

" Mission complete Hokage sama" He said finally making his way to the desk, handing a scroll to the Hokage he took a step and his eyes went to his team. He pursed his lips in a way that was eerily similar to Guy and turned standing in the opposite part of the room.

Guy made a strangled sound.

" Next," the Hokage said as if this was normal.

Next was Asuma's student Shikamaru.

Kakashi thought that the scar on Lee was bad. Shikamaru had a large scar that started in his neck and stopped below his eye. Another scar, this time an electric burn was on the outside of his forearm.

He was wearing brown shinobi shorts that stopped at the knee and were wrapped with badges, along with a brown T-shirt that had a black vest on top. He was wearing two back gloves and wrapping around his forearm and upper arm.

Similarly to Lee, the second he entered the room it got dark as if the shadows were automatically pulling towards him. Shikaku made a sound like a cat dumped in water and Asuma had cold anger rolling off of him.

" Mission Complete, Hokage sama" He drawled giving the scroll to the Hokage and without even looking at his team turned and stood next to Lee.

Ino seemed to want to walk up to him but Asuma put a hand on her shoulder and stopped her completely.

"Next" He stopped and Hinata walked up.

She was wearing a black one-piece that started at her mid-arm and ended at her knees. A lilac short sleeve top, 3 quarter lilac arm warmers, and lilac stackings add color to her outfit. She has a small scar just above her eye and a larger one going from her collar bone to her elbow.

Kurenai's shoulders sagged in slight relief and her kids grinned. Hinata's head was straight, her arms fell to her sides and each move had a dangerous grace to it.

" Mission is a success Hokage sama" she said, sending a smile to her team she walked up to the boys and stood next to them, but left a space in between her and Shikamaru.

" Finally" he said and Naruto walked into the room.

Kakashi's heart stopped. Dear god. Like Hinata, Naruto grew his hair out and it was pulled back in a spiky ponytail, which reminded him of Minato sensei.

He was wearing a sleeveless open kimono, that was black and had a dark orange trim and sash. Along with one dark orange glave and normal jonin pants.

He had three scars, one of which was over his heart, which is giving Kakashi a heart attack. The other two were on his arm and stomach but looked equally as bad.

As soon as he stepped into the room everyone's attention turned towards him, he had the aura of a kage that both radiated power and command. Honestly, Kakashi had to stop himself from giving the ANBU salute.

" You have a lot of paperwork to do" He all but growled, and tossed the Hokage the scroll.

Hokage sama opened the scroll in seconds and smiled.

" You managed to convince him," He asked and Naruto glared.

" After he gave me a new scar. You do realize that the Mizukage is a jinchūriki right. I can't just say hey three I'm nine let's be friends" Naruto snarks and Kakashi paled, while Shikamaru snorted.

Naruto turned his glare to Shikamaru.

" Isn't that what you did to Garra though?" he said and Naruto's eye twitched.

" Garra isn't the Mizukage, that has guards, with several weapons" Naruto said slowly.

" No Gaara was.... Is a mentally unstable son of the current Kazekage and probably the next one" Lee said with a teasing glint.

""

" You just keep collecting mentally unstable people huh Naruto kun" Hinata spoke, shaking her head and letting out a fake sigh, and Naruto blushed and pouted.

" The disrespect" Naruto teased back.

" Is she wrong Naruto?" The Hokage asked and Naruto just left the room.

Then the other three disappeared.

" What the hell," Asuma asked and Kakashi could only nod.
