(The three greatest superheroes climb and fly through the ship until they get deeper into Kang's "empire"...and they run into...)

Batman: Sub-Zero! What happened to you?!

Sub-Zero: Kang made me better than I ever was.

Spider-Man: (to Batman) He's YOUR walking bomb. How do we get past him?

(Sub-Zero shoots ice shards at the three. As Batman leaps out of the way, Ghost flies to face him. But Sub-Zero dodges and grabs his ankle. Meanwhile, Spider-Man is subdued by Swamp Thing. The two Kang's slaves toss the two heroes against Batman and they crumple to the floor.)

Ghost: Swamp Thing too?

Sub-Zero: (landing beside Swamp Thing) Kang has unlocked the Green's power. He has mastered the Firestorm Matrix. All knowledge will be subsumed under his empire.

(Ghost gets up and pulls out another eyecon before replacing the current one with it.)

EYE! BATCHIRIMINA! KAIGAN! RYOMA! MEZAMEYO! NIHON! YOAKE-ZEYO!

(Ghost changes forms and prepares to fight Sub-Zero.)

Ghost: You should be grateful I won't let you join your brother so soon, Kuai Liang.

(Having various forms really helps when you're a ghost and fight against a grandmaster. But due to being controlled by Kang, Kuai Liang can't fight properly. That and Batman's teachings put the Kamen Rider some steps ahead, bringing Sub-Zero down.)

Ghost: We'll get your mind right... I promise.

(Meanwhile, Spider-Man socks Swamp Thing right past Ghost and to the floor. He and Batman then rejoin him. Swamp Thing gets up and swats debris out of his way. Numerous Betas appear behind him and walk towards the three.)

Spider-Man: You have a plan?

Batman: It's a work in progress. I might be able to restore them.

(Spider-Man swings up and fires his webs at the Betas, but they raise their hands and block the webs. Batman runs around the Betas and bum-rushes Swamp Thing.)

Ghost: (pulls out an eyecon) That's new.

(Batman leaps over a pod thrown by Swamp Thing and kicks the Green's master in the mush. Swamp Thing swings back but Batman dodges as Spider-Man joins him again.)

Batman: Kang's adapting.

Swamp Thing: Adaptation is nature's way.

Ghost: (to Batman and Spider-Man) I can help him. Keep those betas busy.

(The duo does so as Ghost prepares to change forms.)

EYE! BATCHIRIMINA! KAIGAN! HIMIKO! MIRAI NO YOKOKU! YAMATAIKOKU!

(Ghost changes forms again.)

Ghost: Swamp Thing, hear me. Your power is being used against you! Against the Green!

Swamp Thing: Kang is now the Green's protector. It will live forever, preserved in his empire.

(Swamp Thing is powerful, no doubt about it. But, in this inorganic environment, he is a bit weaker. Oh, sure, Kang can MAKE substances similar to the Green, but it's nothing like the real thing. Ghost manages to beat the kudzo out of him.)

Ghost: Now let's get you free.

(The three heroes put Sub-Zero and Swamp Thing next to each other, the fallen Beta corpses all around. Batman then draws the disruptor and fires it at the two.)

Batman: It should disrupt their link with Brainiac.

Spider-Man: Sub-Zero's brain patterns are changing... but I can't read what's happening to Swamp Thing.

Batman: (ceasing the disruptor and kneeling down) Kauai Liang?

Sub-Zero: (groans and wakes up) Yeah... yeah. I'm here. What happened?

Ghost: Kang went "Cyber Initiative" on you.

Sub-Zero: That must explain why I wasn't acting at my own will.

Swamp Thing: (groans and gets up) What IS this place?

Batman: Kang's ship. Sub-Zero will get you back on terra firma. (to Sub-Zero) Report to X. He'll need help fighting Kang's suicide Betas.

Sub-Zero: (nods) Good luck.

(A little later, the trio goes to Kang's control chamber. However...)

Batman: No Kang... where is he?

Spider-Man: I don't know... (his senses tingle) Spider sense tingling!

(Then Doctor Strange shows up, coming out from a portal.)

Dr. Strange: Bruce Wayne... Peter Parker... Daniel Fenton... your battles echo across the universe. Your war has had consequences none of you could foresee. The Chaos you spread is a cancer upon the cosmos! Only Kang can establish order!

Ghost: (pulls out an eyecon) I'll deal with you, Stephen.

EYE! BATCHIRIMINA! KAIGAN! BENKEI! ANIKI! MUKIMUKI! NIOUDACHI!

(Ghost changes forms.)

Ghost: How the hell do you know my old name?

Dr. Strange: Your old life is coming for you soon, Daniel. And once it does, the consequences will be irreversible. So either go back to your world peacefully, or I'll make you.

(Yes, Danny remembers his old name, but he doesn't like it that much anymore. And the fact Doctor Strange's mind is being poisoned is more than enough for Ghost to defeat him.)

Ghost: I'm not that weakling anymore!

(Doctor Strange comes to his senses.)

Dr. Strange: It's gone...

Ghost: You're welcome, Strange.

Dr. Strange: I'm sorry for attacking.

Spider-Man: Whoever did this to you, he can't trick you anymore.

Dr. Strange: All of you have defied fate... courted chaos. But now, to see you working together again... you MUST keep order or the Lords will impose it. If not through Kang, then...

(Suddenly Doctor Strange is hit by a beam which disintegrates him, and then Kang comes in.)

Kang: Even a magical being like Doctor Strange recognizes my superiority. In time, the universe will see me as their only future.

Batman: Unless we stop you!

Kang: I offer nothing less than deliverance, Your environment is poisoned, your civilization has exhausted its resources. The Earth's decline cannot be reversed.

Ghost: We'll find a way.

Spider-Man: We always do.

(The three rush Kang and attack from three sides, but Kang deftly blocks and parries the punches and kicks. He then stands and fights the three of them at the same time. Batman is picked up by the throat and Ghost is blown against the side of the ship. Batman's about to choke to death, but then Kang throws him aside as Ghost flies towards him. Kang swats the Kamen Rider away like a fly. Spider-Man and Kang rush towards each other...and Spider-Man double axe-handles the conqueror to the ground.)

Kang: (standing and smiling) Earth's time is up.

Spider-Man: Where's Miles?!

Kang: Being vivisected. He has already taught me much about the nature of your powers.

Spider-Man: Allow me to give you a proper demonstration!

Kang: I match your strength! YOU cannot match my intellect! You are only an Avenger of which I have killed BILLIONS!

(And it's time for the MAIN EVENT! And, yes, Kang IS the superior intellect. Not to mention he has home-field advantage as his SHIP can attack, too. But, when faced with the destruction of his home, Spider-Man's strength CANNOT be denied. It's as close as close can be but, by sheer will and power, Spider-Man puts Kang into sleep mode!)

Spider-Man: This was for the Spider-Verse. (Batman and Ghost join in) The attacks on the fleet are weakening him. I could feel him losing steam as we fought.

Batman: Good. Should make it easier to cut him off from the Betas.

(Batman draws the disruptor and fires it at Kang, who lies there as if not believing he lost.)

(Meanwhile, Kid Arachnid is seen shackled to a table. A Beta marches towards him, ready to slice him, Suddenly, the Beta falls to the ground... and the cuffs release him. He sits up relieved that Kang has been defeated Outside, the Beta ships lose power and fall from the sky. The ship essentially shuts down and Batman gets on the headset to spread the word.)

Batman: This is Batman. Brainiac is down.

Sonic: (on the comm) The disruptor worked! All the Betas are shutting down!

Spider-Man: (landing next to Batman) We did it! Now we find Miles! (The ship then starts to lurch) What's happening?!

Ghost: Kang's mind is the ship's CPU. Apparently he doesn't have a backup system.

(Sure enough, the ship starts to fall from space, heading for a crash landing on Earth.)

Spider-Man: If we crash, all the cities preserved onboard...

Batman: Destroyed.

(Spider-Man then turns to the control chair...and gets an idea. He sits in the chair and grabs two still-glowing tendrils.)

Ghost: Peter, wait!

Spider-Man: You said yourself. This ship is controlled by pure thought.

Batman: This could KILL you!

Spider-Man: Sounds like a job for me.

(Spider-Man jams the tendrils into his head, screaming as they attach to him. the ship drops into the atmosphere, aiming for Gotham (which had not been digitized yet). Batman and Ghost hold on as Spider-Man pours his thoughts into the ship, fighting against the programming Kang installed in it. Just as its about to turn Gotham into a crater just like Metropolis,... the ship veers and flies back up! Spider-Man is still hurting from the sensation, though.)

Ghost: Create a bypass loop. Put the ship on autopilot.

Spider-Man: Hrnn! Trying!

(Suddenly, from where he should be KOed,...)

Kang: MY SHIP! You will not destroy my empire!! (punches Batman and Ghost several times, knocking them cold) Relinquish my ship, Peter Parker!

(Suddenly a sound is heard.)

DIVE TOO DEEP! EYE! GIROTTOMIRO!

Tokuro: (comes in) Henshin!

GENKAIGAN! DEEP SPECTER! GET GO! KAKUGO! GIZA GIZA GHOST!

(Tokuro becomes Kamen Rider Specter and kicks Kang down. He grunts as he gets up.)

Kang: You will regret this!

(Kang uses his powers and is about to tear Specter limb-to-limb. Suddenly, a smoke bomb explodes around them. Batman stands before him again.)

Kang: You are persistent...but primitive theatrics cannot save you!

(Maybe not, but the fact that Kang is still weakened from his fight with Spider-Man helps Batman immensely...not to mention the kick by Specter. Still, it's a rather tight fight; even a weakened Kang is pretty strong. Batman uses his wit and gadgets to put Kang down...again!)

Batman: Like you said, I'm persistent.

(Batman checks on Spider-Man, who is still fighting. Specter stands and goes to the downed body of Kang while Kid Arachnid goes to Peter, watching him struggle.)

Ghost: We need to get you out of there!

Spider-Man: Not...yet...the cities...

(Spider-Man starts to think harder. As he does, many of the cities digitized by Kang disappear from the globes and RE-appear on Earth. As Batman, Ghost, Specter and Kid Arachnid watch the cities and people return, the rest of the heroes (Captain Marvel, Mega Man X and Ben 10) board the ship to watch. Spider-Man breathes heavily... until he collapses off the chair. The women take a few steps to help, but Spider-Man gets to one knee.)

Captain Marvel: You're OK!

(Just then, Reimu Hakurei and Iron Patriot appear.)

Reimu: I thought it was too late, but...I can feel the heartbeat of Gensokyo! Kang's work is undone!

Spider-Man: (shaking his head) Not all of it. I couldn't save everyone.

BATMAN: Some cities are still trapped in the collection. Others were lost... wiped from the ship's memory. Queens... Abel City

X: But...we CAN still save them, right? Alia? Douglas? Lifesaver? Commander Signas?!

Spider-Man: I'm sorry, X. (Wonder Woman and Supergirl help him up)

Captain Marvel: First The Joker, now Kang?! No one should allow you to suffer this, Peter Parker!

(With sudden resolve, Spider-Man looks over at the still-rebooting body of Kang. He walks over, preparing to finish the job. But Batman intercepts him.)

Batman: Peter, no! (Spider-Man looks at Batman with a "WHAT did you say?!" look in his eyes.) Even if I agreed that he should die, you can't. We need him alive to save the rest of our cities.

Spider-Man: No, we don't! With more time and both Norman and Sonic's help, the Ship will obey me!

Ghost: OR we could lose more cities.

Ben 10: Danny is right. We can't be sure.

Reimu: What we CAN be sure of is that Kang puts everyone else at risk!

Captain Marvel: Like I said, This is no different than Joker. If your "father" killed him, we might have...

Batman: It was never that simple, Carol!

Spider-Man: Yes, it is, Bruce! Queens and Abel City are gone! (Batman draws a golden dagger from his belt secretly) How many more innocent people should die before you accept that some lives need to be taken?!?

(Batman slices the dagger across Spider-Man's chest... and he BLEEDS! He groans and hits the floor in pain. He sees his bloody glove...his own blood...)

Spider-Man: My powers?! How did you...?!?

Captain Marvel: Get up, Peter!

Ghost: Stay down! Enough exposure and you'll be de-powered permanently!

Spider-Man: (glares at Batman) This madness has to end, Bruce!
