Normal POV

Barry sat in his lab at CCPD trying to work on piecing a bomb from one of their cases back together but his mind kept drifting to the Dalton-McKinley reunion coming up. He was scared of how his friends would react once they figured how he was in high school, Joe would disappointed for sure. He could try and skip out, fake sick or something, but he knew that wouldn't solve anything. He needed to face this head on, even though he's dreading it. The CSI sighed to himself before his phone pinged letting him know another metahuman was terrorizing the city and suddenly it was time to put his Barry Allen woes aside so he could become The Flash

Meanwhile on Earth-38

Kara sighed as she walked through the door of her apartment after a long tiring day of coming up with news story lines and saving people. All she wanted to do now was eat potstickers and watch Homeland but as she sat on the couch she remembered something. She took the letter she got this morning out, the cursive writing of the fake name she used standing out on the envelope, before taking a deep breath and opening it. Here's what it read:

Dear Marley,

I'm not sure if this letter will get to you. I've heard from the other New Directions that you've been pretty hard to track down. I would like you to know that you are invited to  McKinley High's New Directions and Dalton Academy's Warblers reunion and performance. We will be re-doing some our greatest covers and it would be wonderful if you came. I know it can be scary to reconnect with old friends but I would like you to know we all love and miss you Marley. You will always be part of the New Directions. Hope to see you there!

Kara sighed as she finished reading the letter. She really did miss the New Directions but she was so different now. Marley Rose died a long time ago and Kara Danvers as well as Supergirl overtook her again, she wasn't sure how'd they react. At the same time, she knew she couldn't hide from her past anymore 'hopefully they won't recognize me as Supergirl' she thought to herself before finally deciding she would go, at the very least she could ignore Jake and hang out with hopefully Unique, Tina or Blaine and maybe even Ryder.

Kara knew she couldn't hide from her past anymore, it was time to face it no matter how scary or crazy it might be. The female superhero stood up from the couch with confidence and a little excitement as she walked to her room to pack not knowing that life changing things were about to happen at this reunion

A/N: IM SO SORRY THIS IS SHORT WRITERS BLOCK SUCKS! I promise the next chapter will actually include Kara going to Earth-1 and going back more to Barry's side of things

I have no good explanation for why Kara knows which Earth she went to McKinley on other than MAAAAGIC so let's just not question it.
