Hi everyone soooooooo.... I finally decided to write this fan fiction after an unhealthy amount of fangirling so I'm enjoying this ride very much and I hope you all do too! >:)

I inspected myself a final time on the rearview mirror and felt instant disgust at my frizzy hairdo, hopeless. So much for trying to look professional. Internally I hoped no one could tell I was a newbie here though my nerves were really trying to expose me but who could blame me. The whole place had an eerie vibe to it and each step I took made my heart sink a little lower. Who could be hidden behind those walls? What was their story? All I wanted was to help someone. No one had dared to work here, everyone just wanted to forgot this place existed but me, being the fool that I was, instantly signed up for this joyride.

My thoughts came to a halt from the screeching sound of wheels. Soldiers came out of the military ban all pointing their weapons at the door. A hand grabbed my shoulder making me jump but finally seeing a familiar face brought me such joy.
"Dr.Venice! What a pleasure it is to see you!" He embraced me and I found myself doing the same.
"I can't wait to start working with you Dr.Walls!" His green eyes sparkled and his grin never waver. He seemed so mature and composed, but I could still see the same Sebastian I had met years ago. Our nostalgic moment came to stop as we turned out attention to what was happening.
The number of soldiers seemed to have multiplied and orders were given as how to be arranged as Dr.Walls filled me in.
"The new patient is here. We have to take extra precautions for this one."
Door was open and a man with the largest of grins remained seated. The tension in the air thickened with every second and terror rapidly took over me when I realized who it was. Maybe it was my imagination but I could feel his eyes locked on mine, even though his dark makeup covered them I could feel the intensity of his stare. If I had known the one and only, self-claimed prince of crime would be joining I would have thought about this twice.

The largest officer grabbed him by the neck and slammed him to the ground making me gasp.
Joker laughed." Now tell me chief, was this part of the delivery service?"

This only caused him to receive more beating which he only laughed off. By now I had come to my senses and Sebastian tried grabbing my arm knowing me too well but it was too late.
"Officer! The man does not need more damage. Finish your job and be off." All eyes turned to me and the officer smirked signaling his men.
"This guy cannot get any worse doc, he's just here because no one else wants to take him or kill him." He came close to me, grabbing the I.D from my coat." Dr.Venice I advice to not get involve with the joker. Remember what happened to Harley."
As Soldiers dragged the joker past me, our eyes met and he winked, his playful grin came back sending the coldest chills through me. I had never felt so much fear in ages, now I had to be in the same building as that psycho.
"Good day officer." Taking a final breath of fresh hair I followed Sebastian inside the madhouse.

"So this is your office." A silver plate with my name in bold letters was placed outside the door. Inside was a desk, computer and various journals." Somewhat plain but it has everything you'll need."
Dr.Walls explained that my first case would be a would be Selena aka CatWomen. My nerves came to their peak but Sebastian reassured me before going
"She's not too bad, plus she hasn't killed anyone here."

That didn't help. Looking through her files I tried to learn more about her. She was a thief, rarely killed anyone and most of her life she had been on the streets. There was a time when she had blinded a man using her claws, so she wasn't exactly the best cup of tea either. I had signed up for this, plus I could not possibly disappoint Dr.Johanson now.
I made my way to her cell and the guards opened to me, each pointing their weapon at the slim figure curled up in her bed.
"Selena wake up!" A guard roared. I mentally tried to control my alarming heart rate as she turned her sleepy gaze at us and hissed. Before anything else happened I motioned the guards out pretending I knew how to handle things. When we were left I dragged a chair next to her bed.
I cleared my throat. "Sorry for intruding Miss.Selena but today is our first session."
"I'm not crazy." She didn't move.

"I know that Miss.Selena, I just want to get to know you." She gave me a look and after a second she stood up. I was surprised they still let her keep her outfit and mask.
"Fine. only because you seem to be the most decent person here." I smiled and began with my questions.
By the end of our session I had cracked a little of the hard shell behind CatWomen. Not much but I felt pride behind my work.
"It was nice talking to you Miss.Selena!" With a final nod I excused myself not before she called out to me.
"Hey Doc?"
"Yes?"
She smiled."Call me Cat."
"And you can call me Scarlet." I instantly knew my work was getting somewhere.

Sipping my cup of coffee, I reviewed my work on Selena I mean Cat. The little cafeteria reminded me of high school and then a familiar face also from high school suddenly sat across from me.
"So how did your first session go Dr.Venice." Asked Sebastian, his gaze made me somewhat uneasy.
"It went great! We talked a little about her childhood and now she lets me call her by her nickname."
Dr.Walls seemed impressed." That's amazing, you are honestly the only doctor she has had a full on session with. I'm impressed."
His green eyes never left me. There seem to be so many unsaid things going through us, I missed our old friendship but this was now the work field, we had to start acting as colleges. Finally I broke the silence.
"Where did they put him?"
The mood instantly changed." He's in the most protective room in this building, in fact he personally has twice the security as the first floor."
This didn't help the uneasiness going through me, I felt pity to whoever doctor had decided to take this case on themselves.
" I'll be the one treating him." Dr.Walls stated.
"How can you do that Doctor?? He's too dangerous!" I could imagine that talking to the Clown Prince of Crimes was not exactly the most pleasant thing.
"We can probably learn something from him. I'll work with him for as long as I can."he looked at his watch." And please excuse me Doctor, I just realized our first session is about to start."
Giving him best wishes, he went off to the craziest being in the building and I was off to my next patient.
