8) Unnecessary Tension

As I walk into the house with Flowey sitting in my backpack, I smell the fresh scent of cookies. Since we arrived on the surface, Guidea has learnt how to make other flavoured cookies besides from butterscotch-cinnamon

This time, they seem to be pumpkin.

As I walk into the living room, I hear a clatter of a plate.

...That went better than expected.

Gúidea and Flowey stare at each other sternly for a minute, before I crouch down and place him on the coffee table.

"Flowey." Gúidea finally speaks up.
"Gúidea." Flowey mimics.

"What are you doing here?" She growls.
"What are you doing here?" Flowey comments snarkly.

"I have you know this is my house. Now. Kindly leave."

"Gúidea, wait!" I break up the conversation.
"Let Flowey be. Just give him a chance, please!" I plead. Gúidea blinks at me, and glances at Flowey again.

She finally gives in and sighs.
"Okay, fine. I will tolerate his presence."

-----------------

"So, Flowey, what do you want to do today?" I politely ask.

"STEAL PEOPLE'S SOULS-" He screeches, and I put my finger to his mouth.

"Now, now, Flowey. Do you want your own soul back or not?" I ask. Flowey replies with a simple growl.

"Why don't we go see Impact and Castellar?" I suggest. Flowey flinches suddenly, and turns his head 180 degrees to look at me.

"If I have one piece of advice for you, DON'T LET IMPACT FIND OUT ANYTHING ABOUT YOUR TRUE POWERS." He ominously warns.

"Why? Shouldn't I tell the truth about my RESET, SAVE and LOAD powers?" I implore, feeling slightly guilty that I haven't told anyone yet...

"He'll...well, let's just say he's caused me more than my fair share of resets. Stay away from that guy." Flowey groans.

"I'm still taking you to his house no matter if you want to or not!" I order, picking up his flowerpot and placing it in my backpack again.

"Not like I have much of a choice since you carry me around in this pot everywhere." He mumbles, before I leave the house for Castellar and Impact's again.

As I knock on the door, Flowey pokes his head out to the side to see the door.

"Dad, could you go get the door?" I hear Impact ask from the other side.

The hatch is unlocked, and I'm greeted to another glare, this time from Webdings.

"So you're their dad, huh?" Flowey taunts.

"And you are the soulless husk of Asriel who used the timeline as his plaything." The arrow fellow growls in response.

"Hey guys! GUYS! Break it up already!" I warn angrily, before letting myself into the house.

Impact waves at me, but his eyesockets darken as he sees Flowey sitting in my bag.

"Tyler..why is that thing in your backpack?" He questions, his voice tainted with hatred.

"I'm a flower. I can't believe this is a real thing I have to remind you." Flowey scoffs.

Impact's left eye starts to flicker a battle yellow, and a glow of red comes from the other side of de the room, suggesting Webdings is approaching. I back up into the wall and put my hands up, sweating like crazy.

"Tyler. I'm warning you. Take that thing out of your bag or you will be obliterated." Impact grins, but with pure malice in his tone of voice.

"GUYS! STOP!" I yell.

The world turns black and white. My red soul, laced with magic, comes out of my body for the first time in a while. Two monster souls, one with a yellow outline and one with red, appear on the other side of the battlefield.

...And a very small speck, outlined in pink, floats in front of Flowey.

*Impact won't let me leave.
*Webdings wants vengeance.
*Flowey quivers anxiously.
