Lost in a Big Bang I
"Is everyone safe?!"
"Yeah... Somehow..."
"I was expecting to wake up to a fire honestly."
"Miko, I swear to god..."
"Wow! What's with these coordinates?!" Kamata exclaimed from the control panel. "These numbers... These coordinates shouldn't exist anywhere in the universe! This is crazy!"
"So did I re-exist just to un-exist again? Or did our warp manifest this non-space?"
"Kimiko!"
"Nowhere in space?! Well then, where did you warp us to?"
"I don't know... Aunty doesn't know..."
"Another timeli―"
Having enough, Tsurugi slapped a hand over the blonde's mouth. If she tried to mumble anything out, his fingers would squeeze her cheeks, keeping her quiet.
"A space that shouldn't exist anywhere in the universe..." Shindou repeated, bringing the main topic back into focus.
"Hey, why don't we go outside?" Minaho asked as he peered out the window. "It looks interesting."
"Interesting, you say..."
"Well..." Kamata checked over the panels again before giving a small smile. "There seems to be a clear atmosphere, so I guess we can all breathe here."
Tenma scanned over the team once before nodding. "Alright. We'll take a look around. Let's go."
"That's what I'm talking about! Let's go then!" And the young detective was the first out the door.
"Minaho!"
"Don't just rush off like that!"
"I say let him. If he kicks the bucket, then the rest of us would know what not to do to stay alive."
"M-Mizukawa-san..."
"Well, he's very much alive and kicking anything but the bucket, so..." Ichikawa pointed out before turning to the rest. "Shall we follow after him?"
The group reluctantly did so. Kamata was the only one to stay behind in order to fix what went wrong and find their way home. She also mentioned something about discovering uncharted territory and how it would be big news for the world leaders.

Outside, gigantic floating rocks surrounded them. Crystals and stone pillars seemed to have sprouted from the ground, glowing green and purple all around. Beyond the rocks was nothingness as far as the eye could see.
"Whoa!"
"What is this?"
"Why is the ground floating?!"
"Where is this place?!"
"Is this part of a star...? No. Are the remains of stars scattered across the universe being sucked in here?" Minaho began to spiral deep into his own theories. With a large smile, he turned towards Tenma. "Hey, captain. Let's take a closer look around."
"Y-Yeah..."
The poor boy hasn't had a single thing go right since the start of the day. Kimiko added another point of respect to his stack for his patience towards the universe.
So with that, the group began walking about. Though no matter how large the place seemed, not a single person dared to venture out on their own. Not even Mizukawa.
The rocks and swiveling pathways reminded most of them of Gardon, only not as hot. The color scheme on the other hand...
Damn, and I thought Faram Orbius was as purple a planet could get.
Does this even count as a planet though?
The blonde only shrugged.
"Look over there!" Shinsuke's voice suddenly came from the front of the group. He pointed up to the highest floating platform, where a large construction stood.
"It looks like some kind of wall. Or a door." Manabe said.
"Could it be a gate to another dimension?"
"Minaho..."
"Let's check it out!"
"How are we supposed to get up there though?" Tetsukado asked.
"Use your eyes, dimwit." Mizukawa scowled, pointing just ahead of them. "There're stairs right there."
Though it was as she said, the fact that they were very thin platforms floating over the void was enough to make them hesitate.
"Okay, Sherlock, ready to be a sacrifice?" The delinquent was suddenly behind Minaho, just about ready to push him onto the first step.
"Mizukawa-san!"
"Hey! Stop that!"
Kimiko clicked her tongue before holding a hand out. Her telekinesis activated just as Minaho's foot touched the platform, preventing any threats of falling through.
"Alright, hurry it up. I can't do this all day." She signaled with her glowing eyes for them to move, to which they all obeyed (though Mizukawa was dumbfounded by her abilities for a moment).
Once they all made it to the top, they found that the large monument before them was, as Minaho guessed, some kind of door. After exchanging glances, Aoi was the first to step forward and tried knocking on it.
But nothing happened.
"Piku!" A familiar voice suddenly came, surprising them.
Appearing right in front of the door was their small, yellow friend that originally manifested in the captain's dreams.
"Pixie?! You're okay?!" Tenma was first to react.
"We thought you were a goner after the Berserk Ray!" Kusaka said.
Tsurugi opened his mouth, but closed it again before anyone else noticed. He wasn't sure if anyone else was aware of the Pixies' true forms, but he wasn't going to ruin the team's joy of finding out their friend was 'alive'.
Letting out another squeak, the little creature flew down the stairs. Without thinking, Tenma chased after him. Luckily, the stairs were sturdy after all, so they really only needed to be wary of falling off the broken edges.
They followed it across a couple of floating rocks that acted as a bridge to another platform with a stone disc in the center.
"Huh... Kind of looks like the teleporters we have in El Dorado."
"Maybe there will be Earthlings that come here to do research in our timeline."
"Or we could be those Earthlings."
"I think the adults would shit themselves if we do that."
"Not to mention the possibility of this technology being used in war."
"Yikes, this conversation went dark really fast."
"Piku!" Pixie flew around to gather their attention before stopping right above the disc.
"Is there something here?" Tenma asked.
Pixie let out another squeak, and a bright light engulfed them.

On a planet full of bright colors, a match was taking place. Two warriors held swords in their hands as Ducksgun announced what was at stake.
'A place in the royal army'.
On one side was a large man, who clearly has had some sort of rigorous training beforehand. On the other was a rather scrawny boy in comparison, who fell flat on his face after tripping on air.
Those watching the match were all berating the latter, wondering how he managed to make it into the finals of the tournament with that skill level. All but one little girl.
When he fell to the other's sword, she was the one to pick up his helmet and return it to him.
"Hang in there. You can do this!" She cheered him on before placing the helmet back on his head.
And just like that, she ran back to her seat above the whole field.
"... That was our planet's princess..." The boy muttered as he slowly stood back up. "But why would she come to me...?"
The other contestant called for his head to return from the clouds, and his response was a war cry louder than the celebratory horns.
"That's it! I've decided! I'm gonna give it 200%! I will definitely win this! I need to protect the princess!"
With his heart in flames, he charged once again.
"And that's it! The winner has been decided!"
And the boy won.
With that, he boldly went to where the girl was sitting, guarded by those of the royal army.
"Princess!" He called to her. "My name is Sarjes! Sarjes Luhg! I'll protect you no matter what!"
The army all detested his attitude, but he paid it no mind. He had become a royal knight, and he will see through his duties until his end. Under the princess' smile, he swore.
~~~~~
"W-What was that all about...?" Shindou was the first to snap out of the daze.
"I wonder if that was a dream..." Shinsuke followed.
"You think we all had the same dream? Get real." Matatagi retorted.
"Sarjes... and Katora?" Tenma was first to recognize the two seemingly main characters of their 'dream'. "What's going on?"
Kimiko and Tsurugi exchanged glances.
You're gonna ask if it's like the thing I did to show you all Shuuya-nii's memories of Ozrock, aren't you?
Well... is it?
I guess so. And if I guess right, that means Tenma's Pixie is that Sarjes guy.
Because Katora is still alive?
That, and he's the only one in that flashback with yellow hair.
... Fair enough.
"Look at that light!" Tenma suddenly exclaimed, pointing at the disc. Pixie was no longer there, but it was growing a bright blue.
"Let's check it out." Tsurugi suggested, because it wasn't like they had any other options.
"Okay... Who's first?" Sakura asked nervously.
Kimiko shrugged. "I'll do it." Without waiting for anyone else's comments, she stepped on the disc. And in a flash of light, she disappeared.
"Miko!"
"Kimiko!"
"Kimiko-san!"
"I'm down here!"
They followed the voice and peered over the edge. The blonde was standing over the exact same disc on another island below theirs, waving excitedly.
"It really is a teleporter!"
They let out sighs of relief.
"At least she's safe, right, Tsurugi?" Tetsukado wanted to flash a smile towards the striker, but when he turned around, he was already gone. Another burst of light came, and looking below, they were just in time to see the navy haired boy smacking their junior trainer on the head.
The rest of the team followed, sweatdropping all the way. They found another disc on the end of the path and teleported to another island below the Galaxy Nauts Gou. They pass by many more broken monuments, none of which seemed to mean anything anymore. All that had any signs of life or energy left were the teleporting discs scattered across the islands.
Pixie was waiting for them on top of this one.
"Piku!"
And just like that, everything faded once again.
Happy New Year!!! 2023 was a wild year for me and everyone I knew, all for different reasons, good and bad. But here's to 2024! Manifesting that it'll be a good year for everyone!
And now, updates are back! Every Monday, like always!
For those who don't know, I'm basing the first part of this arc on the post-game story of the GO Galaxy game. I'm not following it 100%, but rather making the characters that we have react to the new world around them properly (because we sadly didn't get that in the game).
"How many chapters will this new arc have?" If that's what you're asking then... Uh...
*looks at drafts and plans for the rest of the story*
Seeing how this first part will have 5-6 chapters, and then there's gonna be another part or two afterwards...
A lot.
Not as much as Chrono Stone or Galaxy of course. This arc is going to wrap up the whole story.
But still a lot. HAHAHA.
Funnily enough, I've actually written more for the next part than I did for this one, so yeah. Look forward to it!
Once again, Happy New Year!!!
