We walked down the dark city streets. The air smelled of dying plants the memory of past falls playing though my head. I don't know how long we were in that building. Only Sensai had a watch and he never brought a calendar back from his business trips. Jack spoke in a soft tone "What are we going to do now?" Elena was the first to respond "Look for a safe and cozy alley to sleep in for the night." Rachel said in a kind of disgusted way "are you serious?" I said sarcastically "No, we're gonna go to the most perfect hotel and stay there." I batted my eyes innocently. I got a swift smack to the arm and Crystal shushed us all. I quickened my pace to walk beside Elena, "What's up with your Sis?" Elena looked at me and said "She's just a little worried is all." Elena turned her head away form me and I heard a solid smack to her forehead. I chuckled and said "You've said something more obvious than that before." I heard a soft "I know" in response. I laughed and Crystal looked back. Then the trek stopped. She spoke in a hushed tone and we knew it was time to get serious "We need to have someone stand watch. Four of us will sleep and one will be awake. I know for a fact that Sensai will be looking for us soon. He comes to check on us every hour after sleeping hour has begun." I grumbled. I raised my hand and said "I'll take first watch." Crystal nodded and they walked back into the alley. I looked over my left shoulder to look at the alley while I leaned on the brick wall to my right, The alley had only one exit and that was where I was, but all five of us could scale the back wall with ease. Elena tapped my shoulder and nearly scared me out of my skin. I blinked and said "what do you need?" She rubbed her left elbow with her right hand and said "Thank you, I know that if you didn't volunteer that Crystal would have stayed up a-and she needs her rest." I nodded and said "maybe you should go sleep along side your sister and make sure she isn't in too much pain." Elena said "I will just answer this question real quick, are you okay?" I looked at her surprised "yeah I'm fine, why do you ask?" she laughed softly and said "I know this journey will remind you of your mother and father. I um I give you my condolences." she turned around and set her blanket up next to Crystal's. I turned to watch the street again. Thoughts were swirling inside my head. Over powering thoughts. I pulled out my mp3 player and ear buds, I snuck out once and stole them, I put on my "Three Days Grace" playlist and put in the right ear bud knowing my left hears sounds better. The streets were quite and lonely looking. I shrunk into the shadows as a cars rolled past. I stayed in the shadows figuring it would be easier than standing in the light. I yawned and felt a tap on my shoulder. I looked over to see Rachel. She said gently "I'll take this shift, go get some sleep Bro. You've had a long day." I corrected her and said "we've had a rough day but . . . I'll go take a small nap. Just a nap though. I'll wake up any minute. I swear" Rachel laughed and said "uh-huh see you when you wake up." I set down my blanket and laid down on my back. I turned off my music so I could save the battery. Soon I had drifted into a deep sleep.

I woke up to Jack shaking me. I blinked a few times, the sun light burning my eyes. I rubbed them trying to remember my dream. Then I realized it was kinda pointless. I got up and stretched. We started to pack up camp and get a move on. We all made a silent promise that we would trust no one, except each other of course. Jack spoke and said what everyone was thinking "I am starving right now." Crystal said "You're gonna have to wait till we get to a store. I know we can count on Grand Theft Auto over there to steal something for us." Crystal nodded to me and I shrugged with a cheeky smile. Elena chuckled and Jack rolled his eyes. Rachel pulled out a man's wallet, the black leather branded with a silver throwing star, and said "or we could use Sensai's money." Crystal grabbed the wallet and threw it into the nearest trash can. She said "We can not trust anything of his. He could be tracking us." She looked around at the crowd and said "time to disappear. Don't show your face to anyone or anything. Be stealthy, Be safe, Be suspicious." We all nodded and continued to move. We did find a convenience store and we did loot it. Though we made sure no one saw. When we ate our fill we saved the rest. I sighed and walked the busy streets in high alert. It was quite alarming but it kinda had a certain security and adrenaline. It felt like Sensai couldn't find us at least not yet.
