After Elena fled the scene with her sister, Rachel had pulled me off of Sensai asshole. Jack disappeared into his rabbit hole and that was it. I heard foot steps, fast approaching. Thinking is was Rachel coming to yell at me I prepared an argument. I turned to see a worried look upon Elena's usually happy face. At once my argument left my head. I looked at Elena and said "what's wrong?" She blinked away tears and a serious tone laved her voice "gather your things, we're leaving tonight. Crystal is leading the expedition and she has a plan." I felt my heart soar at the thought of freedom. I nodded in agreement. She smiled softly and said "I'll go find Jack and Rachel. I'll leave you to packing." She started to walk away and said over her shoulder "o and don't forget to pack lightly." I nodded and leaned against the kitchen island as she went to talk to my twin sister and Jack. This moment reminds me of many memories, including one where me and Rachel first met Sensai. We were his first students, lucky us right. 

                           It was April seventeenth and Rachel and I had just cleaned up our birthday party's mess. We both turned fourteen today. We heard a knock on the door and Rachel yelled from the kitchen "I'll get it!" I watched my sister skip happily to the door and open it. I walked over so I could protect her if need be. We both looked up to see a strange man. He wore a white shirt with white dress pants and black dress shoes. His amber eyes fixed on me and Rachel. His black hair was styled perfectly to stay in place. Rachel was frozen and then this strange man spoke " Hello children, I'm sorry to tell you that your mother has died during her surgery due to blood loss and your father died in a car crash. They won't be home. My name is Sensai Azulan and I'd like to take you to a safe place. Where the both of you can learn to protect yourselves." Rachel started to cry "But mom can't be dead, this surgery was supposed  to get rid of that breast cancer tumor thingy."   I held my sister close and said to Sensai Azulan "please leave us be, we need to call family and tell them the bad news."  His amber eyes flared and he said "I wasn't asking, now come along or pay the price. You wouldn't want another tragedy, would you?" I was about to say something to get back at him but he started to walk away. Rachel pulled from my embrace and followed him. I didn't want to leave her alone with that scum bag so I followed. He lead us to an unknown street and took us to an abandoned building. Our lives were changed from then on. It was terrible. Until other people arrived meaning Jack, Elena, and Crystal. It's been a fun experience. To be honest with you, I didn't believe Sensai, I wanted till our parents found us but they never came.

I snapped out of my thoughts and went to pack. I walked to my shared room with Rachel and looked for my black bag. I found it and remembered I had a black book bag that was already packed for this situation. I searched a little more and found it. I grabbed my split sword and walked back to the living room. Crystal and Elena were standing there waiting. Crystal looked to be in a lot of pain. I sighed and waited for Jack and Rachel. I placed the bag down and looked for Sensai. I don't know what I'm gonna do yet all I know is I'm gonna do something. I found him meditating in the training room. He didn't look bruised or anything from his fight with Crystal. I shivered and thought 'that's odd, I thought I cut you' Sensai turned to look at me and said "You all should be ashamed of yourselves. Attacking your Sensai! You will pay for all of it!" I jumped a bit and another shiver ran down my spine. I sat on my knees in front of him. I spoke softly but loud enough to be heard "I apologize on the be half of my fellow students. We jumped to quickly into an assumption and thought you and Crystal were in a fight to kill." I stood and walked away before he could say another word. I was surprised by myself, I didn't kill him right then and there. I walked out to see that everyone was there. I grabbed my bag and my sword and Crystal led the way to the exit. She limped slightly, probably trying to keep her body as still as possible. Soon we were breathing fresh city air and walked down the streets waiting to find an opportunity. Though we didn't know what opportunity. But something was coming. Something that we didn't want. We were being hunted just we didn't know it. Who ever it was, was skilled and precise. Freedom would be out of reach for a long-long time.
