I watched as my sister stood and walked away from Riley. I know for a fact that night on January third still haunts her. I try not to think about it too much. I sighed and looked at Riley with a sad smile. Riley stood up with a grunt of effort and mad his way to me. I know what that means, a little chit chat. I looked at the open space between the living room and kitchen. Riley said in a surprisingly soft voice "you're going to have to speak with her about it at some point." I looked up at him and nodded, "Yeah i know, but she isn't ready yet." Riley spoke in his stern voice now "No, you aren't ready. You train and train and your sister barely speaks to you. You never find time for each other." I yelled back my short temper getting the best of me "Oh yeah, like your relationship with your sister is any better! There's a difference there though, I actually try!" Riley took a deep breath and with that breath his eyes flared like fire. "Look, Elena, I know you're still hurting, but you need to help your sister too." with that he walked away leaving me alone in between the kitchen and living room. I sighed softly and went to find my sister. I was headed to our room until i heard fight training going on in the training room. I started to walk towards the training room. My brain started to make it's own theories and I started to run. I burst through the door to see Crystal in an actual fight with Sensai. I stood frozen as my sister ran towards the wall and ran along the circular room. Sensai stood in the center turning all around. I jumped as Crystal pounced on him and held him down by his neck. I placed my right foot forward and felt two strong arms  wrap around me and hold me there. Riley whispered in my ear "let her." I watched as my sister got up and walked away. Sensai took in a deep breath and started coughing as his lungs were expanding. Crystal was the youngest of us five but she was also the most leathle, when it comes to Sensai. I looked over to my sister and she looked beyond mad and so i looked up at Riley instead. Riley had a twisted smirk on his face and then his smirk fell. I looked back to see Sensai drew his sword and was walking towards Crystal. I cried out and threw one of my throwing stars at him. It hit it's target and my body went into action. My attack must have effected Riley because he grabbed his split sword and circled around Sensai. Crystal got up and into action too. She crouched down ready to pounce at any moment. Rachel walked in and saw us letting a "what the-" escape her mouth. Crystal looked over at Rachel and before any of us could blink Sensai lunged forward. I gasped in horror as Sensai's sword cut Crystal across the stomach. Crystal blinked once and fell to the ground. I screamed and Jack ran in. He saw Crystal laying on the ground. Sensai stood strait and started to walk away. Rachel tackled him to the ground and soon Jack and Riley joined in. I walked to my little sister. Sensai had just given her a flesh wound but still she seemed stunned. I picked her up and walked to our room. I took her light blue shirt off, I also wrapped her wound in case of further bleeding, and put a clean one on, I gently put my hand on her well defined thigh that was covered by black leggings. I looked down at her feet covered by red tennis shoes. I felt tears well up in my eyes and start pouring down my cheeks as i let out soft sobs. I felt a hand wipe away one of my tears and looked to see it was Crystal. She sat up and brushed her long light brown behind her ear. I opened my mouth to say something but she spoke " we have to get out of here." I blinked twice and my mouth stayed open. I knew she heard my silent "what?" So she explained "our little group has gone through enough of his little game. It's time we broke the rules. Rally our friends and let's get out before the moon rises. Let's set ourselves free because no one else will." she looked at me. I looked at her with stars in my eyes and nodded. That's when her innocent face finally graced a smile but it was only there for a split second and had disappeared. I hugged her and want to find our friends, our family. We were finally going to break free of this living nightmare, or at least that's what we thought. What was really about to happen was this nightmare was taking a turn for the worst, for the monstrous. We never suspected a thing.
