Chapter 3: Recruiting

Bluedancer had flown around Phyrria for a week now with no sign of the Diamond Winglet. Now, she touched down at the Rainforest, careful to avoid the RainWings. She flew to the NightWing village and saw Peacemaker there talking to Moon. "Hello", Bluedancer called. "Oh, uh, hi, Bluedancer", Peacemaker said cheerfully. "Whats up?", Hope asked. Bluedancer gestured for them to sit down and she took 30 minutes explaining. By the end of the day, she had convinced the NightWings to join her cause. She took off after telling them to capture the rest of the Diamond Winglet if they saw them. She knew that Mango would be at the RainWing tribe since she honestly wouldn't go anywhere else and where she is Moss is also. So she told some NightWings to go check for them. "I'll go to the SkyWings next", she thought since the two SkyWings are all outsides, they wouldn't have went there. She flew towards the Mountains. While she was flying, she knew that the SandWings would be gone after she went there, and the MudWings were better fighters than the SeaWings, or so she thought. She absentmindedly flew into a Mountain. "Ahh.", Bluedancer muttered flying up to the SkyWings. Within 30 minutes she had, again convinced them that she was good. She took off again towards the MudWings. After this I'll go with the NightWings, she thought. She had told the SkyWings that, that was where to find her. The MudWings only took 20 minutes and, satisfied, she flew back to the NightWings.

Cobra and Ninja had flown for a couple nights now. They were in the desert, but nowhere near Thorn's palace. They had seen cacti, sand, and more sand for the past day and it was driving Ninja insane. "I'm overheated," he groaned. "No, you're fine," Cobra sighed. They took off again(or in Ninja's case, very slowly got up and woefully took off) and headed west. Meanwhile, over in the rainforest, Mango and Moss were simply sitting in a patch. Moss didn't mind the rainforest very much. Mango was having some fruit and Moss was taking a rest. "Hey, I just thought of something," Mango exclaimed. She quieted down. "I bet you anything Bluedancer is going to start at the NightWing village. It's her tribe, after all." "Maybe," Moss chose his words carefully. Just then, there was a slight thumping noise nearby. Moss glanced out and covered his face. "We have to hide," he whispered. Mango went into camouflage and shielded Moss with her wings. They settled down under a brown, dying bush, just in case any of Moss was sticking out. A sea of black dragons thumped into their clearing. Mango winced when she saw some dragons who she knew were sensible among them, like Moon and Hope. They've been tricked, Mango thought. They think this is right. The dragons passed by and without waiting for them to come back, Mango and Moss shot off as fast as they could toward the RainWing village.
